I like when hero has a PERMAMENT dark turn. Shame it doesn't happen too often. : <

Point taken.

Figures Nintendo announces this a week before I planned to pick up a DSiXL. Ah well, ain't stopping me. I need an upgrade now.

I am not a fan of 3D at all. It's been a icky gimmick for like 40 years now. Nintendo ain't going to change it. And yeah, the gimmick won't be fully realized. Hell, I'd be surprised if it was even used much at all in its first year. Wii Motion Plus all over again. But yeah, I think it would be hilarious if Ninty was purposely shoving this out to fool the competition into thinking they got the next big thing.

A control stick only may be a problem. 2D platformers aren't going to be so hot with just that. And by control stick, they most likely mean a nub like on the PSP. Which I am not a fan of.

I'm sure the mainstream titles will be cool and all, so long as the new Zelda isn't [tornado fang]ing touch screen only. It's just that what little I know isn't exciting me. We'll see if that changes in a few months.

True. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. If it had turned into a whole arc or something, then it would've been [tornado fang]ing terrible.

But it's the premise itself, the hero having a temporary dark turn, that's still tired and stupid and gay. And it is the [parasitic bomb] faggy emo kids eat up and put in their crappy AMVs and fanfictions.

- The platforms in Ice Climber don't crack when you step on them. They only break when you hit them with your hammer. And they're not all ice, either.
- Yeah, Strike Man's stage is sports themed. But why do you think it's based on NES sports games? That's [tornado fang]ing stupid, to be very blunt.
- I don't hear the Can-can.
- And still no on Nitro Man. That is not a reference at all.
- The pump Tellys looking like Zebetites I can give you, though.

2). Dark Super Sonic. I mean
seriously, [tornado fang] yes.
Im still waiting for Sega to bring Dark Supersonic into the games.

It's this kinda faggy emo [parasitic bomb] that kids these days eat up. The last thing we need is this in a [tornado fang]ing game. I mean, isn't Darkspines Sonic close enough for you?

No, this is a crockpot theory. Everything's either a HUGE stretch or just plain doesn't make sense.

- Just because Blade Man's stage is a castle, it automatically becomes a Castlevania reference? Pfft. I don't see any bats or skeletons or breakable candles with hearts and mutton inside.
- I am having a really hard time figuring out if ANY stage from ANY Contra even slightly resembles Solar Man's stage.
- Just because they're both ice, Chill Man is suddenly related to Ice Climber? You got to be [tornado fang]ing kidding me. I guess every ice boss is a reference, then. Ice Man was more of an Ice Climber reference because he actually LOOKS like Popo. We all know Chill Man's a nod to Mr. Freeze.
- Disappearing blocks automatically equals Tetris? Nah. Nor any other puzzle games that involves removing blocks.
- Nitro Man's stage doesn't look that much like the MM2 intro. They're just both cities at nighttime.
- Pump Man I can give you, as that stage does sorta resemble one of the sewer stages from the first Turtles game. But then again it also resembles Toxic Seahorse's stage and Stage 3-1 from Batman. Or nearly any sewer. You see where I'm going with this?
- I can't comment on the other two, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were picked just because of the similarities by name. Besides, Strike Man is a reference to You're Under Arrest.

I thought it was an issue with the colors in Knuckles' sprite. Either that or gliding on conveyer belts woulda screwed something up, which doesn't make sense to me.

Oh wow, this is funny. I deleted my MM10 save file to try some stuff out. And i noticed that my all clear record was still there. Well I beat the game again. I improved my time to 26:30.

My old time is still there. So I am now ranked #8 and #10. That's hilarious.

Jam only had Sonic 1 with spin dash. No Knuckles, no Tails, none of that.

Damn damn shame.

Finished Clannad After Story. The ending is a pretty big copout. But the ride is an emotional rollercoaster. I've almost cried on numerous occasions. Just waiting to see the other extra episodes now, and then wait for the dub.

PS: How's the framerate?

Not good. It's at the most half of what it was on the Genesis. And it lags pretty frequently.

Obvious excitement from me.

Eh, I'll get excited when I see it. I thought the movies were absolutely horrid.

I'll give you that, except I thought the first one was really good. It actually felt like a big story, a good one too. Whereas all the other ones didn't have that movie feel. They were just a handful of episodes that melded together.

To translate Aldo's post for the uninitiated, Mirby's screencap has the proper ratio despite being twice as large as normal. Which I think is the argument trying to be made; the ratio is changed on DS. Though admittedly if you do want to compare the screens, having them at different sizes is not the way to get your point across. Either shrink the Genesis picture, or blow up the DS picture, and cut out the bottom screen cause that doesn't help any.

xnamkcor and Lightning are correct in that respect. Their attitude isn't correct, though. You guys are being jerks.

It's the [tornado fang]ing internet, Gaia. If you haven't got used to it yet, get out.

Her boobs never seemed all that different to me. I thought they've always been in the same ball park.

commandycan: Explain the previous games that had no problem showing her half naked, then. She's always been a sex object.

And you do realise I was only being half serious, right? It's more the fact that I miss each game having it's own unique ending attire. After Zero Mission came out, suddenly every game ends with the Zero Suit. Not that there's anything wrong with the Zero Suit, it's just I want to see some variety and an actual surprise in the ending. It's no fun when you know what's going to happen. Thankfully Other M is already doing a good job of rectifying this.

Also, if there was any time to put Samus back in a bikini, now would be it. Cause Team Ninja is quite familiar with the subject.

Back when I was trying the game out, I thought something was up with how Sonic looked. Turns out yeah, the screen's scrunched in. That probably caused the flickering I saw as well.

I have a couple pointers, actually. I'd consider buying an M Can before entering the fortress, and not buying the half damage item. And on Wily Machine's second form, if you're really quick, you can probably hit him in the air with three Rebound Strikers each pass. Oh, and pray for good luck on the Giant Enemy Crab.

imvok brings up a good observation. How did you get a 1:22 on Blade Man?

imvok has the current world record as far as I know. 24:15.

It must be for all the game reviewers and journalists. Cause they all complained how hard 9 was, even though it's not hard at all. Same goes for 10 on Normal; I still think it's easier than 9.

Movin' on up with a 26:41. Rank #12. So I'm not on the Top 10, but I'm on the Top Legit 10. That's something, right?

I changed my route to Pump-Solar-Chill-etc. Had a death on the third Wily Archive, and ran out of Thunder Wool on the Pump Man refight. Wouldn't have if I didn't have to waste one of my W Cans on Blade, though. I absolutely SUCK at using Commando Bomb.

Don't worry, Vixanye West, I won't be beating you for a long time.

I've been looking around and it seems like Vizio was some outstanding prices for their HDTVs. Does anyone know anything about them? Seems a little too cheap, but all of the reviews seem to be good.

I've heard Vizios are pretty good for the price you're paying. I think Samsung is the best brand, though.
