You seem to can't help but get weight screwed.  Be it out of the Landmaster or out of Yoshi's butt. 8)

Akamaru apparently isn't on right now, but I'll gladly warm up with ye, Jelly.  I've got a waiting room ready right now.

How about that one part where they totally skipped Mouser in World 3 and replaced him with Mecha Birdo in Super Mario Advance? =w=;
Actually, the second Mouser is in the game, he was just moved to World 6.  They booted the second Triclyde. :'(

It's underrated 'cuz it can't be loved enough. :P

Alright, alright, I'll dig for the more obscure:  Freebirds, from ZX Gigamix, and the Library theme from Legends 1.  And of course we cannot forget "The Answer" from X6 intro/Soul Eraser commercial.  That song kicks much ass.

It's hard to pick out "underrated" MegaMan themes (besides Legends seeings how the whole damn series is underrated).  The music of the series is pretty well known.

The fact that the likes of enemies such as Cobrat, TryClyde and ESPECIALLY Mouser, have never been seen again, hurts me to my soul.
Quoted for truth.  I miss my Mouser and TriClyde a ton...

I'm pretty much split between Peach and Luigi when I play.  More often Peach, I guess; if I want Luigi I can always go for the other games.

That tune is indeed orgasmic.  I advise anyone who calls themselves any kind of fan of MegaMan music to track down Disco Dan's "Wily Stage 3 - Impendium" remix.  Absolutely divine.

One of my favorite/most underrated BGMs is Straight Ahead, Physis version.  I swear that needs to be Zero's theme music at some point.

You're added to the list, but if you want to request a Smash Bros. match, then you want to go to another thread.

Heh, I'm taking chances myself, since I've modded my slimjim in order to play imports (tape n tissue FTW!  8D)
I installed a proper flip-top for that reason.  Gotta have my Namco X Capcom fix. 8)

One way of examining this, is to look at it the same way as what happened over the DS's lifetime, especially those early years.

Hindsight being 20/20, it's easy to see that there's a lot that the Early DS sear have a lot with the first 2 years of the Wii. "Killer apps" were rather spaced out, "Casual" games were dominating the shelves, and the 3rd parties had yet to really come out & show what they were made of.
The casual market isn't what's scaring me, the lack of effort is.  Most any established franchise that hit the DS was a decent effort.  Star Fox and Yoshi's Island were probably the weakest, but even they were passable.  Mario Kart Wii, however, is absolutely disgraceful when it's played offline.

I'm mainly referring to Nintendo's own efforts and not their third party support.  I don't care that Wii Music is a casual title, anyone who knows my affinity with the Rabbids knows that minigame collections don't scare me.  What bothers me is that it was, from what I've heard, a lazy development effort.  As was Animal Crossing.

I'm hardly abandoning the console or anything.  Yes, DS started with a big dry spell (I didn't much care because FREAKING YOSHI IN SUPER MARIO 64 kept me occupied), it came back.  Kinda sank back in it with the Wii in '08, if you ask me.  But I'm chomping at the bit for both Wii's Punch-Out!! and DS's Fire Emblem like you wouldn't believe.

I think you're misunderstanding me based on the swimming comment ....
If you're swimming, I think Gospel Boost and the Rushes should be disabled.  Just by default.  It forces you to actually swim.
I bequeath a boot to the head.
*THWAKK!*
NEVER diss Rush.

There's also the Tiger LCD games Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3. ^^

And yet you don't lower them to 0%?
I do, but I still have to listen to them when other people pick the stage online.  That and the Pikmin stage doesn't even have any good battle music.  Smashville is slightly better, but still not too hot.  And God help the poor soul who has to fight in Electroplankton.

(including not using it like a DVD player too much, as I've heard that shortens a PS2's lifespan)
I really hope that's not true of the Slim, or I'm screwed.  >.> (hey, my standalone player sucks)

Toppling the PS2, one hell of a goal.  Despite my inner fanboy I'm rather pessimistic, and it's not just the dryspell.  There's one other thing that severely damaged my confidence in Nintendo's development: Mario Kart Wii.

That game's AI is a complete nightmare (this coming from someone who enjoyed Double Dash), the unlock conditions are extremely unrealistic, and the cut-down multiplayer options add insult to injury.  The game is, to its credit, by far the best Wi-Fi setup that Nintendo has ever established.  But offline, it's pretty lousy.  The fact that Nintendo tried to pass that as a killer app bothers me.  Add in Wii Music and Animal Crossing at the end of '08, and Nintendo did a lot of damage to their reputation.  I'm hoping this was an isolated incident, but we'll see.

Point taken.  But I don't know many people crazy enough to leave that one on in My Music.  Whereas I get craptacular themes in Pictochat, Smashville, Isle Delfino, and Pikmin all the time.

Here, but I think I'm going to have to postpone our matches for tonight. I'm kinda talking with a lady friend I haven't heard from in quite some time. '>.>
Go get 'er, man. 8)

For two rounds, big deal.

Semi-off-topic: Brawl has *WAY* too many unfitting songs.  It's hard to get the adrenaline rolling when you're listening to the freaking Delfino Square theme.

Peach is not my main, she's my comic relief.

I've never had an issue with spamming Counter/Fireballs/Cape.  The earlier has happened but it's not nearly as boring.  And Akamaru kicks my ass as Falco and Pikachu often enough.  The difference is he's actually fun to fight against.  I'm not trying to insult you, it's personal preference.

Yeah, well, I beat the [parasitic bomb] out of you as Yoshi, you beat the [parasitic bomb] out of me when I was Peach, and then after switching back to Yoshi it took me a while to recover from the funk.

Seriously, though, even when I win you suck as an opponent.  Falco Blaster/Pikachu Thunder abuse is not fun.  ESPECIALLY the earlier on Smashville with no items.  Flat stages after Final Destination (at least that one has good music) ought to be some kind of sin.

Akamaru, still waiting on you.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

I'm already fighting with Hyper Sonic.

And I *REALLY* need to remember that Pikachu's headbutt has a greater attack priority than Peach's actual butt.  >.>

I'll be on in an hour or so.  Smallville's on now.

Because you had Yoshi. Only did I nearly match you with the Side+B of Pikachu, but it was a clear winner...
Who gives a [parasitic bomb] who won that match?  Neither of us landed a single hit, and the replay's corrupt anyway. XD

EDITS: Online now.  Akamaru, whoever's hosting your match isn't on my list, so I can't join.

Nobody said otherwise.  But I don't think any of us saw him as OoT kid age in LttP.  Considering he is too young, not to mention too small, to handle the Master Sword at that time in OoT, he should be a LITTLE older.  Wind Waker gets away with similar vocals, but I think the cartoony art style has something to do with that.

I'd like to see an option to select a constant BGM.  'cuz an Endless Attack with MM3's Wily Stage 2 throughout its entirety would be epic beyond all sane reasoning.

Well, yeah. But does separating "swimable" water from "unswimable" water make sense to end-users?
'bout as much as separating current-water from death-water (Xtreme2).

Just have the death-water flash so that it looks all electrified and stuff.
