Eh, the best way to ass-[twin slasher] somebody with a Dragon is with Decoy Dragon.  Man, my brother hated that card. 8)

I just find it funny that anyone EXPECTS the act of stabbing an empty body to be epic.  I just don't see that as the goal of the scene, at all.  I take it as an (extremely loose) explanation as to how X got disembodied, end of story.

Granted, the closeup of Zero was nice.  But I think the expression on his face had more to do with unleashing a power that nearly destroyed the world and all.

Any night owls up for a match now?  I have a waiting room set.  The only guy I see online is somebody I don't know (probably registered second-hand) who insists on only playing one-on-one with somebody else.

EDITS: Eh, screw it.  The guy (CAUTK) joined but apparently is a real No Items stickler.  So I kicked his ass once in Lylat Cruise and left it at that.

These people who keep trying to turn Smash into a traditional fighter, I swear.  If you insist on playing No Items, Final Destination, and 1-on-1, then you're playing the wrong game.  It doesn't get any more wrong than that without bringing in tiers.

there are like 12 YuGiOh games on GBA.
Over 800 posts and you still take Sub Tank seriously?

4155
Wasn't he in one of the old Starter Decks?  I'm not sure but I think I have him.

4156
Ah yes, played the game much.  I stopped shortly after buying Rise Of The Dragon Lords structure deck, mainly 'cuz my brother got tired of losing against me, and I got tired of losing against everyone else.  >.>

The problem with all TCG games is that, given that they survive, sooner or later I get sick of keeping track of constant updates that break all the old strategies (money-sucking when looking for a specific card, and that damn banned cards list don't help any; I miss my Metamorphosis/Thousand Eyes combo...).  Issues could be solved by playing a dead game (ie: Austin Powers), if you could actually find someone to play WITH.

Oh yeah, and I also have the Japanese Worldwide Edition on GBA, you know, for those english-print god cards and all.  Ah, Slipher, you look good enough to eat...
-_-  *hides the tooth marks on the card*

AWESOME news.  Besides We Are The Robots, the RM9 AST blew pretty hard.  So here's hoping we get a PROPER remix of Thunder Tornado!

But I like the other censored words. >.>
Quoted for truth.

theres one thing with the "pacifist statement. eventually, his pacifism was replaced with a snse of duty. similar t Zero. he does it because he has to, and doesnt question it. its the whole point behind him finding out he "no longer cared about fighting enemies"
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that bit a slight mistranslation?  Supposed to be something more like he didn't care about the enemies he was fighting against?  I recall that from earlier discussions.

Considering X was already disembodied before that, yeah.  He's not really any more dead after the stabbing than he was before.

So intead of having him "done away" like that, they decide to have him "done away" by a [tornado fang]ing whiny little [sonic slicer] having a nervous breakdown because things didn't go as planned, while he had no way to defend himself.  Yeah.  Because that's so much better.
Most here can tell you that I'm not the biggest Elpizo fan.  But frankly, yes, I DO prefer Z2's scenario of having someone stab X's empty shell, as opposed to having Zero kill him.  No matter how much a Zero fanboy I may be, I wouldn't want to see X turn genuinely evil.  The idea of a copy showing us how sick and dangerous he could become if he wasn't careful fills that need just as well without damaging him as a character.

Yeah! That is just bunch of [parasitic bomb]! If they had ended the X series at X5 or X6, we wouldn't have these plot holes and X would have had his Elysium utopia.
Please.  X5 had the worst plothole of them all: Zero died in a FREAKING BOSS EXPLOSION, regardless of proximity I might add.

Yes, Inticreates did the same thing in Z3 with Harpuia and co., but at least they weren't stupid enough to write the game that way originally.  They just had an "Oh, SH*#!" moment while they were developing ZX.

or just make the whole thing dream events (which would be a much better move, IMO)
Damn straight.  M&S need more Dream events.

Of course, it's hard to say no to anything that has Yoshi, Daisy, and Tails in the same game...

Yes, that's exactly what I mean.

It's worth it.  Gaea Armor X is a [chameleon sting]ing tank.
Agreed^2

Gaea Armor is AWESOME.  Retrieving it is fine if you're following the "recommended" boss order of the game.  I just wish they hadn't rigged X5 to kill the whole "start anywhere" appeal of the series.  Gaea sadly adds to that, since getting it requires three weapons and Falcon Armor (or 1 weapon, 2 power-up parts, and a hell of an awesome bit of viral abuse).

But yeah, Rangda Bangda against Gaea Armor is completely F#$%ed.

Gold max Armor= Dash jump+Air dash. Instant win.
Be thankful this is an X-series thread, 'cuz Model HX destroys that.

You mean it hasn't? Oh come on, if any Pokemon game deserves the price drop it's Battle Revolution. Seriously, even if D/P are still full price they are actually pretty good, unlike BR which shouldn't have been full price to begin with IMO (no minigames/playing DP on your TV no buy =/).
Yep, still $50.  I wouldn't care about the lack of minigames/DP on TV if the single-player game itself was of some worthwhile substance.  But the majority of the matches are entirely too easy for anyone who raises their own 'mans, Stargazer Level 50 excepted (and even that's only the last two or three rounds).  And in the rare event the game does get challenging it does so on a very sharp spike (Sunset Colosseum is pretty brutal).  There's no real "curve" to the difficulty level, it's usually really easy and occasionally really hard.

Battle Revolution is, like Mario Kart Wii, a game you get to play online.  It's a shame because I love the trainer customization, but there's just not enough content to the title.

...*hates Palkia now*

Crimson and Hyper know what I'm talking about. =P
Yeah, Palkia likes to screw with everyone.  I'm getting a LITTLE better at handling the arena-flips, but it's annoying.  Get too cocky and I'm liable to find myself Egg Rolling off the edge, just like tonight.  >.>

what was the picto match about?
In PictoChat all but two music tracks drive me positively insane.  I can't fight like that.

Oh, how I wish I could.  But the match ran over 3 minutes and for the sake of console stability (I suspect that's what's causing the occasional lockup) I left the codes off tonight, so no Replay.  My two suicides were for nothing. :'(

Isn't it always?

Fair enough.  My Peach performance tonight was shameful. -_-  Bowser worse so, but playing as him is a crapshoot anyway.  I just bring him out when I'm in the mood for a challenge.

May I remind you that I whipped your ass in every other Yoshi battle we've ever had.

We both had our humiliating moments tonight.  Thank your lucky stars I didn't save the replay of me as IKE of all people (I get next to no practice with him) slaughtering your Pikachu.

DAMMIT!  The only reason I committed suicide in that match is because I wasn't using WiiRD codes, and I *HAD* to have that replay of Mr. Resetti getting blown up on the Bridge Of Eldin!

F#$*(^ING thing was already over three minutes! >w<
