Okay, I don't know what the F(#@$ Dialga's problem is, but he had it in for me on that one.  Freaking 3 of my 4 lives went to that steel [dark hold].

Woo!  Awesome stuff!

We really do need to do a Yoshi/Peach team sometime, though. :P  Oh well, time to bash each other's brains in.

How about a Multi-Man to warm up?  It's been a while since I had a good co-op match.

What do you know, as of today I've got 1,000 matches on record...

Anyways, seems I missed Akamaru, but I'm going online now if anyone else is up for a few rounds.

Posted on: February 17, 2009, 09:53:20 PM
...seems 'maru's No Items/Final Destination friend is the only one looking for a matchup, naturally I got shafted after two rounds.  Guess I'll have to go Random.

Note to self: Stop trying to anticipate others' character choices.  It never ends well.  You slaughter someone picking an off-character, so you do the same, and they come at you with their main.  Bowser really hates Super Missiles. >_<

While I'm nowhere near ready for online matchups yet, I added my Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon code to the list.

Now THERE'S the PB we know and love.

So, Winter Olympics......  Why am I imagining a Dream Ski event where you get to toss an item at someone and watch them roll helplessly?

For all the gruesome things Copy-X and Dr. Vile did, it was very hard to feel that.
I dunno, I hated Copy X (MK1) a hell of a lot more than I did Elpizo (in that awesome way you love to hate a villain, I mean).  Elpizo is just a prick, but Copy X is exceedingly dangerous in terms of his influence.

Quote
His salvation shows us the divine good that is the Mother Elf, for she was even touched by the last words of a man we were all made to hate.
I wouldn't discount Mother Elf's link to the non-evil-messiah Zero, either.

Quote
Without those points clearly established, the climax of the ZERO-series would be far less amazing than it was.
I retain that any emotional impact Elpizo carried was one-upped both before (Resistance base attack, Z1) and after (Craft, Z4), rendering that aspect of his character pointless.  I do respect him, however, for an entirely different reason: Under the Dark Elf's influence he gave us the only Zero-series appearance of a true Maverick.  It was refreshing to just for once cut through all the political and prejudicial BS.  And it did a lot for Harpuia's character to see that he was willing to do the same, as well.

I wouldn't say that.  Secret Rings was a storybook land too, and Sonic Heroes was a LOT more child-friendly than that.

At least now I can get some food in my stomach.  Haven't eaten a decent meal in nearly 10 hours...

Waiting now for you or whoever else...

......and I REALLY need to remember that Staryu can go through the floor.

Okay, can we have a match where one of us DOESN'T self-destruct in the first ten seconds?

But now, I ready and hungry!

Well, I know I didn't face his Link.  Forget whether or not he was using Samus earlier on.

He seemed adamant with choosing Sonic in the later matches, so either he's practicing him or he's just one of those people who thinks Sonic automatically wins all item matches.  I joined in to make a 3-way matchup, took a few rounds to get my mojo working, and he later insisted on 1-on-1 (random sucky fact: You cannot register a new friend if all friends previously registered with you have left the match >_< ).  We fought a few when he was done with the other guy, he left for a minute, and I took notice of the No Items label in his description when setting up a new room, so I decided to humor him for one last match.  He was still using Sonic anyway.

and full out memorized my fighting style with all my main characters. Only way I can beat him is using characters I normally don't use.
Well, the psychological game is as valid as any other.  That's the main reason I started mixing Peach appearances into my online plays.  Sonic works well for that too.

Random off-topic observation: Whoever made the Brawl model for Bowser needs a boot to the head.  That hump looks ridiculous.  He's the only character for which I actually prefer the Melee model (grew to like Peach's new dress).

I figured he was a 2nd-hand register.  Not that I care, the more the merrier.

But how in blazes does he beat you?  I trashed him pretty thoroughly; you give me a lot more trouble than that.  Or is Sonic not his usual?

How about as an unarmored Giga Attack?

Which reminds me: Nova Striking on the ground should get a Copy X-esque slide kick.

well over 800, considering the two crashes. it's probably more like 8000.
That goes for many of us.  Can't measure beyond the last crash.  >.>

Sorry 'bout that PB, after my post edit I'd signed off.  Could have used the challenge, too.  >.>

Maybe next time.  I should be on tonight sometime around 10 or 11 (Eastern).

Works a lot better when X proceeds to go nuts and Shining Fingers the enemy's face.
