I apologize for the fact that speculation offends you.  I said myself I was guessing.

Was I camping?  Yes.  Because if your opponent doesn't do jack, you don't have a reason to move.  Camping only works for as long as your opponent fails to disrupt it, and again, Yoshi is a pretty lousy camper compared to the others out there.  The angle works in my favor if I'm at the base of the hill, this is true, but then I spent a lot of time nailing you from across the pit.

Not as if you didn't approach me a few times, either.  You just failed to connect.  Either one of us can nail the other when they're on the offensive, that's fine and dandy, but SOMEBODY has to make the first approach.  The eggs simply force you to do it.  :P

She Icy Winded Latios to slow him so that my Palkia could Spacial Rend him into oblivion, Helping Handed Surf to OHKO Mewtwo and half-damage Kyogre, and Light Screened just to [acid burst] the enemy off further.  I like her. 8)

Well, PB, here's something you ought to enjoy.  An "unintended side-effect" of a hatless Mario hack. :V

I gotta tell you, having verified this myself, the spike placement when Peach down-throws Bowser is so incredibly wrong.

It also wipes out the back half of Luigi's head; he's reduced to a face and ears.  No effect on Zelda, though.

X / Re: The Z Buster

Depends. Between X6 and Omega, we have both a bustershot and Z-saber to account for that are somewhat canonically different from how Zero was in X6.

Beside obvious image retcon, a post seal change should not be left out of the equation.
Right.  Because one cannot possibly study the Sigma Virus without updating the host's armor as fashion dictates.  X6's ending was made with the full knowledge that MMZ was on the way, they could have cleared everything, or done a shadowy silhouette for Zero, either one would have settled the matter and at the same time made things clearer for the dingbats who don't understand the concept of a sneak peek (which I admit is easy to miss first-time, but viewing it now in retrospect a lot of folks still don't put it together).  They didn't.

The Z-Buster is not seen in the X6 ending, so the Buster Shot point is irrelevant.  It's never seen when Zero isn't using it, despite concept art showing that it should be stored on his back.  Omega's Z-Saber does not function with alternate modes as Zero's does (and even if it did, there's X7's alternate weapons to consider), so the double-ended point is moot.  That leaves only chargeability and blade color, neither of which need to result in a visible change in the hilt (otherwise Shadow Armor has some 'splainin to do).

I know leg holsters are a frequent point of contention, but the reality is that both X and Zero series designs are symmetrical in their Z-Saber holds.  We just only ever saw one Z-Saber over the course of the X-series, but there's no difference between the left and right sides of Zero's "backpack".

If there was an armor redesign it is current only with Elf Wars and then left untouched the following century.  The fact that Inti considered and rejected the old Zero design for Omega says something, as well.  They had to make new sprites for him anyway, so there's no real reason not to.

So, both Capcom and Inti had the chance to establish a canon armor change, and neither did.  X6's ending can't be dismissed as retconned out unless something exists to retcon it.  At current, nothing does.  And Inti had the chance to go there and refused.

Also, Vile's Incident isn't Physis. Splitting hairs.
Splitting hairs indeed.  It was included with Physis.  If I ever refer to the "ZXA Tunes mouse pad", I don't think anyone would believe that a mouse pad was somehow stored on a CD.

Quote
But the fact remains that X's armor is designed the way it is, because the timeline is closer to the ZERO-series. That tells us there are somewhat canon changes between X and ZERO. Between X's armor and the ZERO-series, the biggest similarities lie with the style of legs.
If by "closer" you mean some developer thought XCM actually was the Zero-series timeframe, from what you told me in AIM (feel free to get me an actual source/quote if you find it).  Developer confusion =/= canon, otherwise the remaining three Guardians are still kicking.  It could be the beginning, but such an instance needs further building in order to be validated, or else it means nothing.

Canon changes DID happen in arsenal.  The Z-Saber was enhanced, the Buster Shot was picked up at some point.  Body design is another matter.

Nothing implies the Z-Buster(s) was removed
Command Mission and MMZ want a word with you.

Quote
maybe his "body change" (aka his 'new' thong body design) disposed of the buster(s).
The redesign is solely art style and not a canonical switch (see X6's Zero ending; that's the body that becomes Omega).  The only body-change is to the copy body after Omega's creation.  If that were any explanation then Omega would have an arm-mounted buster.

It's hard for me to tell in this case since I don't have access to this "RMZOCW" thing (although if it's in moonspeak, you've lost me already)
Get equipped with it, they (eventually) printed it in english.

Maybe we really do need official Capcom word, if they're willing to even reveal anything.  :\
I'm quite confident they would have none, the same as Inti has no explanation whatsoever for the Guardian art in Physis.

There has been a statement from Inafune that all Repliroids were redesigned to reflect the upgrading in technology.
There is a somewhat noticeable difference in that the Resistance wears clothing.  Zero appears to be sticking with an armor design, although the fact that Ciel wears headgear and that X, Zero, and the Guardians have a vest shpiel going on does blur the line a little.  But the fact that Reploids progress is only natural, especially considering Reploid kids have been around for a while.

Quote
Furthermore, XCM character designers designed X's new armor with the idea that the timeframe is closer to the ZERO-series.
X's design is stated to be a new armor within the storyline, however, Zero and Axl are unchanged in appearance.

Quote
Finally, when Phoenix Magnion from ZERO2 summons memories of four X-series characters, they appear unchanged in design.
Bear in mind that is a cameo appearance with no dialogue to introduce them.  To redesign them would defeat the point of the cameo.  There are already enough lunatics who don't recognize Agile when they see him.

To say nothing of the fact that a space station/weapon is far more likely to have network communications with the outside world than a stone/spike fortress whose seeming only electronics are the doors.

1. Who's Maru?

2. Bogrd was me.

3. I'd rather be hit with a tourney-[Top Spin] style than 100 thrown eggs a match. Jeebus. =P

4. ...I picked FD once. What the hell crawled up said Super Dragon ass?
1. Akamaru
2. Hooray, sorry for the mixup.
3. BUT I STILL HUNGRY!!!
4. When everybody, EVERY SINGLE BASIC BRAWL (nobody here is ever online at 5:30-6), picks it, you get sick of it, no matter how good the music is.  But it wasn't FD itself so much as your reliance on a level playing field with minimal platforms.  The same applies to Spear Pillar; ordinarily one of my stronger stages.  I also figure it's a safe bet you were the one to leave the items off.

Seriously, about the eggs, Yoshi is not a speed/range/priority abuser, he is a trickster.  I play him as a trickster, get over it.  Any other player would have found a way through the egg barrage ages ago, with how slow they are it's not that hard.  Plenty other characters have far more abusable projectile arsenals than that (Falco, Wolf, Toon Link, ROB, and Zelda, to name a few).

To reiterate:
Chill legend, Shell only confused you for someone else =P

I don't care that I won that last one.  [tornado fang] YOU, YOU CRESCENT [sonic slicer].  I'M GOING TO CATCH YOU AND BRING YOU IN AGAINST LVL100 LEGENDARIES JUST TO WATCH YOU DIE!
Funny thing is I can give a turn-by-turn account of that Crescent [sonic slicer] giving me the edge against the likes of Latios, Kyogre, and Mewtwo in Stargazer Colosseum. 8)  She's not worth much on the offensive but she's awesome for support.

Same here, it was fun Super Dragon roasting ya.

Pretty sure that Bogrd fella is Maru's pal.  Tourney-[Top Spin] fighting style, tough as nails on FD, but can't fight worth a damn on a slope (read: completely [tornado fang]'d on Yoshi's Island Melee, even with items off).

People, no matter how skilled, need to expand their horizons beyond that niche of a meta-game if they expect Wi-fi to be any fun. 'cuz when 90% of the match hangs on stage choice, it ain't that fun.  "Core skills" my scaly Super Dragon ass.

Yeah, I don't trust their reviews as far as I can throw them either (you haven't heard me rant on Daemon Hatfield's atrocious Godzilla Unleashed review, have you?).  But free news is free news, and it's where I felt like putting up my near-never-updated blog for some reason. >.>

Anyways, I am thinking of going for the hat.  I'm sure Doc will be YouTubed in due time, and I don't see him topping Aaron Ryan or Super Macho Man.

I'll be on later tonight, though.  Probably 10-11 or something along those lines.

He does die....right?
Takes long enough, but yes.

My only regret in the series is how face-palmingly simple the Shikon Jewel's disposal is.  Other than that, and my sadness at Kongousouha/Adamant Barrage not being the ultimate attack for very long, I can't wait to see this.

Club Nintendo announced their Gold/Platinum rewards.  Gold gets a calendar.  Platinum gets a choice of either "Doc Louis's Punch-Out!!" on WiiWare, featuring a one-on-one fight with the big man himself, or a real-life Mario hat.

I'm a little ticked.  I not only hit Platinum (600 coins), I maxed that damn meter (1,000 coins).  No point to that, it seems.

Well, anyway, decisions decisions...  I'm torn between these two.
(if it were a Luigi hat it'd be so much easier... O:< )
If I could kill any number of coins to get both, I would, but that's not an option.  Thoughts?

I have to admit it is tempting to call bull on this in spite of it source.  Maybe somebody at Capcom got a head shake from their superiors and is just speculating as to why?

Seriously, if Servbots are clear, further IP clashes shouldn't be an issue.  And you can't honestly tell me Capcom is stupid enough to not secure the rights to re-release their voice talent.  That didn't stop them in X Collection (in fact most of us wish they HADN'T reused their voice talent there).

Capcom could easily re-voice the characters
Here's the thing, though.  CoA certainly CAN re-voice the games.  But if they have so little faith in Legends as to not even bother preparing for a re-release, then I sincerely doubt they would spare the expense to correct their mistake.

Maybe Mrs. Shell took back the TV.
No, I just have to work in the morning (gotta remember to leave the DSi or comp on so I can comment).

And I for one loved those matches. 8)  Pulled a nice come-from-behind towards the end, even if it was item [twin slasher].

I don't have to work tomorrow, though, so if I'm up that late, we'll see.

Of all the times for them to drop a bob-omb in front of me. Mid. Falcon. PAAAANCH. XD
At least bomb-dropping lets you see something blow up.  What irritates me more than anything else is SMOKE BALL DROPPING.  Falls right at your feet when you're trying to attack, the pickup screws you over, and you get nothing for it except the most pointless item in the game.

LET'S SHOW 'EM THE POWER OF THUNDER! 8)

That was perhaps the best PR theme not featured in any show/movie.  Too bad the game's muscle-bound Pink Ranger and poorly detailed Megazord still haunt me, but the dashing finisher was pretty cool.

I knew I'd regret leaving the Wii in the living room sooner or later...

Hey, Lag matches are even worse with Stock!  XD
How do you figure that?  With a laggy Stock match you can suicide to end it quickly.  I don't see any other difference.

Campers are the reason why I hate stock matches really. Meanwhile, I'm up for it PB, I can't help but feel that I've gotten a bit rusty with Marth, Lucas & Pit lately.
I've seen people camp in Random 2-minute Team Battles.  Believe me, Timed doesn't guarantee anything in that department.
