Was watching a stream last night of the PS3 version in action. I really didn't see to much different until they got the boat. Even then, it only seemed like Patty was shoehorned into the scenes and some minor dialog was added just to make it less jarring from the original story. That said, the boss on the Atherum was pretty cool. Even on Easy Mode, the player got pretty badly messed up by it.

I'm not a fan of AP grinding to get everyone's moves to at least reduced capacity points. You get so little, even with a full Diamond set on a bonus day.

Then knowing you've got to do it 21 more times. The ultimate weapons aren't much fun either. All this is serving is reminding me how much I dislike pointless item grinding in RPGs.

Eh... looks okay... for a fan game. I don't care for the art style, though.

That's 3D.

If they mess up 2D, that's REALLY that.
Some people will say the game is garbage regardless. It's just easy to rag on the franchise, especially when it hasn't really done much in terms of trying to rebuild itself.

It could be the WFC logo wasn't included on the template, similar to what happened with Star Force.

I don't see why they wouldn't make EXE's battle system internet compatible. It's certainly not a bad thing.

No complaints here if the Battle Network 1 chip structure was modified to offer more fluidity. I don't exactly remember it being too friendly for forming some good decks, but to be fair:

1) It's the first game. None of the refinements that came in later were present, obviously.
2) The 15-chip select made things a little risky, especially with chips having not too much overlap in terms of chip codes.
3) Enemies were very weak and didn't require strong deck combinations. Let's also tack on that there was no PvP.

According to Yuri's V.A., the cast were called back to do more lines.

Knock on wood, but it's looking good.

The world would shatter in two if those two actually teamed up, especially after all the crap Blue gave Red.

Once I got Rouge, I never went back. It's awesome. I have mostly sword type cards in my deck.

Anti-Sword.

Today's the day you play stuff like Sonic Adventure (just the first one), Power Stone, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Evolution and Jet Set Radio. Honor the white box that didn't stand a chance because Sega was pretty much dead at this point and PS2 didn't help.

...huh.

Woke up, saw this... got nothing. Not excited, not disappointed, not really feeling anything. It was just sort of a "...oh... ok."

Maybe I need some gameplay vids first.

Something told me the bounce thing would make for quite a topic here. XD
And will likely be removed from the U.S. version if it makes it over.

I've not really seen him gain much more than Sword Slash, Fire, Blizzard and Thunder for the air. The magic attacks are too slow to be much help and Swordslash makes you have to be too close to the target, usually a death knell if the opponent blocks in mid-attack.

It's fine, since I've found his axe throw move is more than enough to take care of things, especially with the HP attack extension. I just wish he was a little more versatile in the air, since a lot of characters like taking the battle to the skies.

Firion irritated the hell out of me in terms of how garbage his air game is. However, once he gets his combo square attacks, though, they aren't too bad.

I have them set to the highest sensitivity as it allows to turn around pretty quickly, should an enemy come from behind or manages to get behind me.

Wow... That's just too weird. My first thought was that it was faked. :P
I don't blame you. I was laughing my ass off when it happened. I couldn't believe it happened either, which is why I refuse to ever submit a new score. It's like the unholy stars and planets of sex just aligned and that happened.

Sidenote: You have me on there a second time with 0.09. That was Ephidiel. :P
