« on: December 10, 2009, 08:01:05 PM »
then why should I even buy this when the DS port is cheaper and easier to take with me?
You shouldn't then. This is more Capcom testing out the waters for the series as a downloadable title, alongside a possible iPhone port. If you already have the games, then you can move along. They're testing a possible new format/audience here.

Now without horrible American pop music.

...Not that the J-Pop is much better.

Wasn't MOST Tales games I recall had thier openings either orchestraited or contained some Jpop?  -AC

Wow, I thought they never had to go and use an american song.
Again... it's a fan-edit. See the checklist I made.

A Mega Man 9.5. I look forward to you guys finishing this! Watching the Rainbow Man stage video on YouTube impressed me a lot. I liked what you guys did with the one-hit-kill lasers with the prisms.

Alrighty, let's break out the checklist:

  • Fight with enemies/some sort of villain
  • Obligatory flower meadow/tree scene
  • Face-off scene
  • "Emo" scene (where everyone look sad)
  • Implied past trauma scene
  • Obvious female lead cliche crying at main
  • End with airship scene w/ party

Yep... looking like a typical Tales of opening.

Oh, we have a bonus on this one:

  • [parasitic bomb] music supplied by fan.

Thank you, mute function.

You know, the more I see of Graces, the less I actually give a damn about it.

I think within a decade we'll be seeing a MegaMan title with DMC-quality graphics and gameplay--

Stopped reading your post a while back, but this caught my eye.

No.

I think that only applied in Metal Shark Player's stage. It was the only time I remember having to use it more than normal.

I can't remember really using the crouch aside from one or two times. It really didn't seem that important since the X Buster was more than enough to dispose of anything that could be a problem, never mind you could upgrade the Z-Saber to block energy shots.

No, because Bass would get his ass kicked. Too selfish.

Nope, none has been announced regarding PS3 US port.

Still could happened, though unlikely.
Wait until E3 (LOOOOONG TIIIIIME). If nothing pops up by then, import.

Knowing Namco, they're too retarded to bring the PS3 version over. Worthless company.

I wouldn't be opposed to Wily sicking a prototype Zero on Mega Man and Mega Man kicking the crap out of it, infuriating Wily to no end.

You may now throw in taking the Robotenza and making it the virus Zero packs to make him go crazy along with amplifying his powers to limitless areas.

...Nah, that won't happen.

You are all now realizing that Mega Man 10 Boxart Protoman looks like Lord Zedd from Power Rangers.

Someone started the music discussion on another forum already so I'll say this:

The songs to beat from Megaman 9 are Flash In The Dark (Wily Stage 1) or Strange World (Wily Stage 3).

Why do I not see We're The Robots (Wily Stage 2)?

Oh, I nearly forgot about that.. then again, What is Miku's pre-set Lv?
See the purple-haired girl? That. She's not a new character so much as it's that purple-haired girl costumed as her.

Pretty much, it's cosplaying in a video game. Boy, welcome to a new generation: cosplayers cosplaying as characters cosplaying.

I fail to see whats so horrible aside from the team gimmick in heroes. Each team has the stages with different things, Dark more enemies (and tougher), Chaotix completely different, (and sorta random) mission objectives, and rose, starts and or ends earlier.
the only raaage stages are certain parts of Mystic mansion, and Rail canyon.
Was actually playing this yesterday. I hated how unreliable the homing attack was. It cause plenty of deaths, especially in Casino Park and Rail Canyon. More over, it didn't really have a nice "snap" to it, like it does in Sonic Unleashed PS3/360. I also wasn't too fond of the traction (or lack thereof) characters had.
