The best is Z-Booting someone with the Clock on, so there's that funny delay before they go flying off.  Same with the Falcon Knee.  The Z-Boot is easier to time though.
I love those delays because you know someone is about to die... or go flying very very far on the largest stages.

Which should be punished man. I never quit, even if I am losing. The game should be played in the spirit of good sportsmanship. If someone wants to mindlessly throw [parasitic bomb] at me, great easy win for me. But if they disconnect, that pisses me off greatly. I guess we are both thinking along the same lines then huh?
Very much so. I have no problem with skillful use of a character, but when they resort to only really broken and lame tactics and then run into someone and run away at the first sign of a possible defeat, that's just retarded. It's like people are afraid of getting a few losses on their cards. There's no honor in fighting when someone disconnects because they're not winning... it's really childish.

Happens quite a lot in Mario Kart, Starforce 2... hell, any online game. It's pitiful.

nOOb huh? Iv'e been playing SF since I was 12. I am 26. You do the math; nOOb...whatever.
I don't believe I was targeting you in my post. I was just saying there are quite a few idiots out there who play Ken by spamming moves. That's about as skill based as abusing Blast-2's in DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi (oh, sure, it'll work on a few people, but run into a player who knows what they're doing and they'll probably tear the spammer a new one... at which point they hit the suspend button on their router or turn off the system.)

You would think they would have jumped straight for Akuma or Gouken, since they're apparently very powerful. I guess easy to exploit cheapness is the standard these days in fighting games, not skill.

Would certainly explain the a few "tier" listings.

Only thing I hate about Zelda is that kick, especially when sweet-spotted. That damn move instant-break a final smash ball and can KO at very low levels. It makes Captain Falcon's Melee knee look like crap.

I think she meant Turian, since that was a little boastful and Ken-spamming has apparently been very common with 'n00bs' online.

Bit of a shame for the honest-to-god Ken players who've been using him for the better part of a decade or so.

Most likely, yes.

I managed to find one of those one-up mushroom plushes here. They also had the red and blue ones, with a giant one at least quadruple the size of the other three... clearly for the Giant Mushroom.

This was more funny than it should have been. XD

I've rarely seen a stock match go to Sudden Death without a time limit, so that was pretty neat.

That said, I think I could take Sakurai with Sonic, opinions of others be damned!

Final Fantasy III - SNES
Final Fantasy VI - PSX
Final Fantasy VI Advance - GBA

It has already begun.

FF6DS is almost guaranteed. I'm not complaining.
I actually liked the script change they made to the Advance version. I also know some of the older fans complained at how cheap the music sounded on GBA.

The mark of a good game: when you can add nice little stipulations to doing some of these challenges, such as this. I was laughing really hard at some of the reactions. In Part 1 of Cool Cool Mountain, there was one at 2:20, I think, where I just cracked up at the yell one of them made.

I'd say at least it's not a prequel/sequel to FF6, which I believe doesn't really need a continuation of any sort, but I have a feeling Squenix is already thinking of a way to absolutely mangle that title.

Found this pic recently.  Still love it!
I do miss the comic book adventures of PB. They're pretty funny.

Well, from what I played (and from only understanding very little drops of what was going on), this is going to be a very promising title. I'm just a little saddened that when I got to questioning the suspect, a glitch happened and I couldn't continue to press or investigate him.

Also, why do I have the feeling that the Objection generator might wind up adding Gumshoe now that we have all these side views of characters?

Preliminary English Boxart for Stafy confirmed:

As you can see, it still hasn't had a logo and rating by the ESRB applied to it, but this pretty much looks nearly NoA certified.

Emulation / R4 Banned By Courts in Japan
« on: February 27, 2009, 02:41:28 PM »
Pretty much, you can no longer legally sell an R4 in Japan. It's still legal in Chinese and Taiwanese markets, but good luck finding one in Japan that's not on the black market.

Stafy getting localized?

Well, I'll be. Wonder if they'll make him pissed off looking like they've done Kirby up until recently. It's just not a cute figure unless the American boxart of it is pumped with 100% purified RAGE.

This should make PS1 emulation on the Wii much nicer. 8D

Legitimate use? Sorry, my system's outgrown that phase, given Nintendo's giant list they released today is composed of 95% of crap I couldn't give a rat's ass about.

She probably only wanted a quick match. That doesn't sound too unreasonable.

So, just curious as to set a price floor (ceiling?), how much would you like for that X3?
