Games are regionless for the most part from what I've gathered.

Eternal Sonata begs to differ. At any rate, E3's pretty much the catalyst. If this is confirmed as coming over to the U.S. (It was rated by the ESRB for PS3 a long time ago, then quickly retracted as a mistake... lol) then I can finally get rid of my damn 360 for good. Vesperia was the last title I owned that kept that thing anchored here for me. I'd much rather just stick with the PS3.

Vesperia PS3 is likely to come over, that much is certain. Tales of Graces is very likely because of the massive market the Wii holds. Tales of Vs. and RM2... well, for one, they're on PSP and that doesn't exactly have the best physical title ownership since piracy is much more rampant and easy to pull off. Ideally, I'd love both to come out since they could largely take battle calls from dubbed characters and just slap them in at almost no cost, worrying mostly about getting people to voice the otherwise undubbed people. Then there's the consideration that several of the games haven't been released here so many of the characters won't be as well known to a potential U.S. audience not of the Tales fandom. Top that with Final Fantasy pretty much being king of the mountain in terms of RPGs in the U.S. and this is going to be an uphill fight Namco may not be willing to fight.

My guess is to wait for E3. Namco may show us more then.

So it's confirmed RM2 is not coming over? I'd imagine it'd have been a pain in the ass to hire all the voice actors for the dubbed characters and find new ones for the "new to the US" characters and Namco's laziness when it comes to that.

I'd have totally bought it too. It actually looked much better than the first one.

Yeah, I was expecting a boss there too. Three ghosts just seems... anti-climactic.

Vesperia was fully completed. The staff even said so ages ago. The new character is simply there because the sony [Top Spin]s kept bitching that they wanted somthing special, so the new loli. Just like Trusty Bell/Eternal Sonota also had new characters added. And most likely so will SO4 for PS3.
Just tagging this on to your post:

-Patty Fleur is 14.
-Main scenario is fully voiced
-New event scenes and sub scenes (basically new story scenes and sidequests scenes)
-Additional elements are planned (pretty sure this means new costumes, new skills, etc.)
-A whole script book got added, bringing it from 5 to 6.
     -Sword Dancer added?
     -Repede has costumes.
-Yuri and Flynn have a joint Hi Ougi: Bujinsoutenha
-Karol's second Hi Ougi is also shown
-Some new scenes and FMVs it seems.

No, interaction between people is going out and having a few drinks, not sitting behind a computer screen trying to alter bits of ram.

They lost any chance of a buy from me when they said old games won't support WPA. The only reason I'd get one is so I can take my network off WEP because it's the only thing Nintendo's PoS  DS configuration can accept.

Still waiting for ep 26 subs

But I liked the anime but the last fights should have been longer, like the battle with Sync.
From the little Japanese I understand, the dialog in the final episode is for the most part similar to the one in the game, just like most of the anime. If you're familiar with the game, it's pretty easy to piece together.

Is it bad that I cheered when I saw Farmer with Shotgun? That pretty much validated the whole show for me.

Also, it seems the actual episodes are just the originals touched up to look better (animation was cleaned up, destroyed cels redrawn, grain removed, etc.) I admit I was expecting a redrawn series similar to how the opening was, but I can't say I'm disappointed.

Also, I loved the little summary of Bardock and DB at the start of the episode.

Well, this topic didn't survive the relaunch, so may as well re-open it, more so now that the anime has finished airing.

Thoughts? I liked the last two episodes. It cleared up a few holes in the plot for me, namely some dealings with Luke and Asch. It's a shame we didn't see more mystic artes outside of Jade's two, but they kept battles nice and quick as to not hog too much time. The ending was also very well done.

I can't see the big deal with the competitive metagame. There's too much time potential being put into it for something that will only wind up requiring you to repeat the process, all over some values in the RAM. If it must come to that, I'd rather just hack my team to perfection. But, since I couldn't care less, I'll stick with my balanced team of legendaries and pokemon I like.

Actually, Unleashed was pretty well received, strong media bias and idiot hivemind GAFers aside. Most people complained about the Werehog, sure, but some quickly double took when they just played through it. The other complaints I've seen around Unleashed would be that it's too fast (then stop boosting, moron.) or that it's too slow (...I'm not going to even comment on this one.) Chronicles was blasted hard for being largely cheap (but a very good job at writing... shame the rest of the game reeks of half-assed BioWare stuffing) and Black Knight... well... that one was pretty much doomed from the start. Releasing it so close to Unleashed Wii hurt it much more too.

I love how people still use Sonic 06 as a measuring stick. Yes, we all know the game is a walking piece of fail, yet it's the one everyone goes to as soon as Sonic needs a good flogging. Never mind Unleashed came and pretty much slapped everyone silly.

Those touch controls also made Command questionably playable. There's a few instances where what happened on screen didn't exactly make piloting any worth, usually regarding dodging and shooting at the same time, or the questionable capacity of lock-on. Title wise, one's a flagship mascot, another one... well... really isn't and has much smaller, niche fan base. Both have a questionable furry constituency that should definitely be burned in a fire, though. As for EAD, I think it's a bit worse that EAD won't even bother with the franchise than make a terrible game. Another franchise somewhat lacking here would be Kirby... at least on consoles. Where's that Kirby Wii, hm Nintendo? Oh, 2010? I look forward to the 2011 number next year, then.

EDIT: Funny story, I actually predicted Sonic Advance 2's final boss, Sonic Riders, and the use of super attacks (including Super Sonic) in SSBB.
Who didn't see Sonic's final smash as Super Sonic? What else was he going to do? Run around and circles and cause a tornado to blow everyone away? Call in Tails to crash the Tornado into the field, causing a screen wide explosion?

So again...if Namco is the one, they had oughta bring their A-game. Quite honestly, I can't stress it enough...the StarFox brand is precariously close to being in modern-day Sonic's territory.
"Being"? No, no... they crossed that line and flew passed Sonic the second the decided Star Fox Command was going to be a gigantic furry fanfiction. Come on, you can't possibly think THIS:

Quote from: Loosely Paraphrased Script from Starfox Command
Fox: Okay, we have a deadly group trying to attack Corneria. We should probably attempt to--
Slippy: FOX, DID YOU APOLOGIZE TO KRYSTAL?!
Fox: --No. Anywa--
Slippy: FOX YOU SHOULD APOLOGIZE TO KRYSTAL SHE LOVES YOU!!

...is any good. I mean, yeah, I smirked with Star Wolf and their antics ("Panther's taking you out on a hot date!" or "Hey! Missile! You Suck!") but when most of the story missions pretty much shot down any notion of a story just so two damn foxes would [tornado fang]/backstab each other, never mind the game was pretty garbage to begin with, they've far shot passed Modern-Day Sonic in terms of lack of quality.

I also wasn't a fan of Furry SOCOM in Assault.

Probably because "Scamco" (as the company is sometimes called on GAF 8D) had the foresight to know that they were going to do something with that character/concept any way, it was more of a thing of just a matter of time and how they were going to implement her.
Somehow, I don't think that's it. I imagine the game wasn't as finished as it could have been. Look at the PS2 version of Symphonia versus the Gamecube one and the amount of differences there. Of course, if this is stemming from GAF logic (or lack thereof), I'm not surprised and will largely ignore it.

Here's the thing... I don't see how the hell she'll fit into the game aside from being another mostly useless child character (never been a fan of them... this includes Presea [too slow], Anise [too chirpy], and Karol [too slow and chirpy.] I'm hoping we can at least get that mary-sue, Flynn, in the party instead. He seems to have the potential to be a much more lethal fighter if he had a larger move pool (this is drawing from his move pool as a boss, not when you play as him in that one event.) He seems to be similar to how Asch fought in Abyss, where he was based of the Magic Swordsman class. Perhaps giving him a few spells and some of the traditional Tales of moves (Lightning Tiger Blade? Hell Fire?) will help?

Also, someone needs to have Indignation as a mystic arte. I'm calling either Rita or Judith.

I don't see this DS coming over. The West doesn't exactly have the greatest track record of getting promo systems like this with regards to Nintendo as of late.

Eh, forget EV Training. I'll just hack my stats. Saves so much time from grinding some digital monsters. Same for manipulated IVs
