I used to be pretty wicked at the game. Then my deck got stolen, TWICE! It took me freaking forever to get the cards back again, and by then the game had changed too much, and after a year of not paying attention, the entire game had mutated into something beyond what the creators thought originally.

I sucked 1 on 1, but 2 on 2 teams, whoever was with me got themselves one more win than they had before. Partly the reason why I sucked eggs was because it took me a good long while to set up the big boys, and when you don't have any way to cover yourself, you're left open in order to be targeted by the enemy. With teams of 2, my partner could block all of the incoming shots, and then stand-by and watch as I wreaked havoc on the enemy side. Back then, Dark Paladin and XYZ Dragon Cannon were some of the strongest cards, and it also helped that I had Jinzo, along with several other cards (like the 3 pieces to the Gate Guardian, and the Magnet things.  The main reason why I stopped playing though, was because every person I ended up going against cheated. One match the little bugger infamous for cheating in the area had started the match early and didn't bother saying anything, not what the monster was, it's effect, nothing. Soon after it got beat, and some trap card he played allowed him to revive it if the opponent couldn't guess the name of the monster. Part of the problem there was that he never bothered saying the name (which in the rules you had to), nor did he bother letting anyone look at the cards at any point in time. I guessed the name and got fairly close, but the douchebag still revived the freaking thing. After that, I got up and left, and damn near decked him with a different definition.

i don't think it's been around for more than 2 months. it's fairly new around here.

or maybe "You're going to love my nuts" reignited it or something.

Nah, there are some videos up from like November and September about the stupid thing. I guess it was reignited because of the slapping nuts thing, but that's about it as far as I know.

Can't wait. I'll admit that I haven't heard of the Watchmen up till the movie came about, but it looks [tornado fang]ing mind-blowing. I'm going into it more as a movie watcher and not a comic fan. I don't know if the theater in town still has tickets, but I'm going around there tomorrow anyway, so it doesn't matter too very much.

I think "Fist Cams" is the most accurate and perfect way to describe this movie from now on!

And at some point, someone is going to start using that in porn XD

the truth about Shamwow

Ok, I just have to question the speed of the internets now. I saw this freakin' commercial way back when (like about a year ago IIRC), and all of a sudden, everyone is JUST now making fun of it. Can someone just answer me why it's being made of fun of and whatnot, recently and NOT when the commercials first came out? -.-;

Whatever, here's two shapes talking about life:

True, but IIRC it's not the complete FE1, besides, FESD doesn't have the FE3-only chapters.

Well, considering they're there to help people that suck at FE...

I'm wondering how you can be that bad at the game to get to that point. I mean, even a newbie can't be THAT bad to warrant going through the Gaiden chapters because of random luck (if they don't know about it).

Something that's grating my nerves is how that Chapter 4 Arena just FREAKING TAUNTS YOU.  It so begs to be camped.  I sank all my money into Heal staves and spent over 400 turns there.  Marth, Caeda, Lena, Julian, Norne, and Castor are all at Level 20, Gordin is at 14, and I have over 120,000 gold.

An inopportune miss later, Barst is dead. >_<  Frey soon after.  Needless to say, resetting isn't something I'd enjoy at this point.  Guess I'll be going for the side-quest chapters on my first run after all.

You (somewhat) lucky bastard. I'd kill to have my members at level 20 at this point, and I'm half way through the game. At the very least, Barst and Frey can be easily replaced (when you get Wolf and Sedgar, assuming you haven't gotten them yet). Wolf can be a better lance user while Sedgar can turn out to be a better axe user.

I absolutely HATE the level I'm on now. Nothing but sand that reduces the distance that everyone can walk at (barring flying and mage units), and an insanely powerful bastard that happens to be a mage that can darts towards you, and is invincible. About the only way I can think of to beat the stage is to use up the Warp staff I have and send Wolf over to kill the mage that's at the end point, and then next turn have Marth take the win. Sadly that means I lose out on an Energy Drop, but at this point, it's not worth it. The AI's become too smart and doesn't fall for the bait you place. I don't know what to do. If I go for the Energy Drop, it'll help in the later stages to power my characters up. If I don't, I don't have to deal with Magey McBastard.

I actually plan on getting new videos up this week. I'm going to fiddle around on YouTube and then once I find out what the perfect settings are that allow me to record something without the video being squished or the game play being slowed down, I'll be redoing the first Mega Man game, then move on to Mega Man 2, then Mega Man X, and hopefully by then someone will have sent me something they want showed to the world.

I made the MM9 damage chart and I've set the world record for beating Bass V3 in Battle Network 2, as well as quite possibly the world record for the "Break the Honey Pot" challenge in KH1 (less than 2 seconds I believe).

If all of this is true, you actually have nothing to cry about. Being together with a liar and cheater is kinda pointless.
I'm alone and happy that I don't have to waste my precious time for drama 8D

I've stopped crying about it awhile ago. I've pretty much just been at bitching and complaining about it now. Oddly enough, what pissed me off the most wasn't the act of her cheating, it was whether or not she was cheating in the first place (ya know, that point in which you have evidence that proves it, but more of speculation 'n such). Is that common for other people as well, or is it the opposite where you're more pissed at the act rather than the thought?

I was planning on going out to visit her around her birthday in a couple of months, but she's just been tripping over her feet in her lies -3- She told me and the guy she was cheating on me with that she had a twin sister who also shared her account, which right there would pretty much explain any inconsistencies that occurred because her sister was dating one of us. Now, both me and the other guy believed her SOMEWHAT, because apparently her sister is a twin with a similar name. Let's freeze right there. Imagine you in that position as the girl. You have two guys who believe that you're not using either of them because they believe the other one is dating the sister, be she real or fake. You'd think all you'd have to do to keep up this charade is just act like the twin sister who sounds similar to you while talking to one, while being yourself towards the other guy. Unfreeze. She some how screws THIS up and says to both of us that we're dating the sister -__-; She said this while keeping in mind that me and the other guy were both talking to each other about this issue. Seriously?

Right now I'm just waiting for the other guy's response as to what he thinks or what's happened. it's just...gah, I hate how my love life is.

The only reason why I don't want to buy the DSi is that the specific games for it are all region locked. While I could solve this by buying an import, that's an extra $50 I have to spend for it, and I don't have the option of turning in my DS lite in order to help pay off for it. If it wasn't for the god damn region lock, I'd be all over this thing making love to it.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how well of an MP3 player this thing is?

Ballade: the issue with your demons learning stuff is easily solved: learn to breed them through Fusion. I have a friend that has a lv12 Angel with Rakukaja, Recarm, Maragi, Bufula, Dio and Media.

I know that, I'm an experienced Shin Megami player, but the problem lies in the way they set the system up. Before you could buy the demons and just screw around with it, or if you didn't like what was going on, you could just reset the game. Here it's completely trial by error and no turning back since the compendium is quest-based rather than a player-assistance thing. There's also the problem with the character that YOU control only being able to get so many spells since you can't get all of the 2nd level spells at the same time.

I am looking into it. If it turns out her 'boyfriend' isn't going out with her, then she's just a bad lair. If he is, then she's a cheater. As for the age, I meant what she claimed to be physically. This is more of a long distance relationship, but she's been changing around her info and details so much I question what the truth is.

I highly doubt I'll be able to trust her after this, regardless of the outcome.

I've kinda fell into a stopping point with the game. The fact that you can be attacked at any time while training from enemies, the insane rate of how to get demons into your party, the fact that there isn't any armor, the fact that you can't have all of the god damn spells and that enemies have twice the spell range over you, and finally the fact that 'demon party abilities' (like Jack Frost's ability to power up if a Pyro Jack is in the party) ONLY applies to a regular, normal party and NOT the demons you have with you.

The rate you die in that game because of the 'all-agro rule' is insane. Because the symbol to the left indicates if the demon can be caught or note and NOT if they're agro, there's no other sign that they can be agro, so you literally have to assume that they all are, and after a certain point it becomes true. Before I found out that demon party abilities don't work like I thought they did, I was hunting for a Pyro Jack. Every single time I went out into the field to get one, 3 others would pile on me and my demon. Hell, it starts even earlier with the Inugami and the Cu Siths. Every time I went around the area that a couple were at, they'd magically spot me from god-knows-where and they'd chase me down. A very common story I've heard is how people have died at the hands of 3-5 demons because of the [tornado fang]ing all-agro rule. Lastly, the spell system is messed up. A common strategy that I know most Shin Megami players will have is to have at least one ally know every single offense spell type of a certain level (like all of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd level spells). This game throws that out the window since the character you play as can't do that. You can have up to, what, 2 of a spell of a particular rank? And several times different elements show up on the same rank, so now you have to rely on your demon to do that. At the very least they've made it so that the demon is actually useful from it's starter level to whatever so you can kind of make up for it since finding a demon that can learn Fire, Ice, Thunder, and Force is hell.

I don't know where else to put this and I've pretty much never been more pissed in my life. I found out that my girlfriend may be cheating on me. I say may due to the fact that I'm 90% sure, but one word from her 'boyfriend' could clear things right up. What do I have to go with this? Her favorite music genre apparently changed to the one she hates, her age has changed from 18 to 17, her school has changed (from college to home schooled), conversations she's been having with one particular friend of hers, and the fact that her 'boyfriend's' friend told me that the two were in fact dating.

So how do you folks deal with betrayal? What happened to cause this reaction? Any advice for someone who can't trust his girlfriend as far as he can throw her?

I asked Vixy some questions about this particular subject, and with a bit of tweaking, this is the result. Post up your YouTube stuff and let everyone see it, be they videos you made, an entire set of videos, or what.

Well, I'm uploading videos I made while away onto YouTube, and the first installment of my attempt to gain success yet failing to do so is the first ever Mega Man game. Link/Profile/Videos in question

Is it amateur? Yes, but you have to start somewhere. The first video I upload just has guidelines and stuff if you end up being a fan or something (like that'll ever happen 8D ), the next is just junk, and then FINALLY there's gameplay stuff in video's 3 on up. For whatever reason, I can't see my little debut video, so if no one else can, let me know. Any messages about technical errors or quality of the videos, let me know. I may be coal right now, but with a lot of effort on my part and some help from everyone, I can shine into a diamond [/lousy analogy]

I just realized the ENTIRE series is craptastic quality D:

I'll fix this problem in future videos. WOW, what a way to make an entrance, having crapticular videos ><

Maggie Q is far too small to be playing as Mai. So unless Maggie gets implants in the near future, the only reason I would actually see this horrible crapfest will be gone.

The story is about as accurate as Uwe Boll is at making good video game movies, you honestly think they'll care about bust size?

Seriously though, I have to wonder just what in the hell were they smoking when they came up with the plot. At least the Dragonball movie has more accurate tie-ins (the Dragonballs, Goku being the good guy, kamehamaha, and Piccolo being the bad guy). This? I wouldn't be surprised if they had the giant douchbag villain from the series be the good guy and someone who's supposed to be dead turn out to be the turd who's causing the warps 'n stuff happening.

It's the Super Mario Bros. Movie all over again!  With Luigi being the hero instead of Mario, and Koopa the the decendant of a T-Rex!  :O

At least that movie was a classic and good movie for the lulz due to the inconsistencies and crap that was going on, this is just taking the plot and having a giant crap dumped all around it.
