Oh, Nintendo got back to me today to gather information (It was the same information they wanted from me before) about my error code predicament.

One thing did come as a surprise to me:

"Does your console have any modifications? This would be in Wii mode, like homebrew."

THEY KNOW, but in all honesty I told them I didn't because I want to save face.

So I guess Sonic Dash has ways of being mean to people who want to get more rings by modifying their save files.

By that I mean it just throws out your save and makes you start over.
