I think he meant a real girl, but that probably would make you feel worse at the moment.

I knew that's what he meant. :\

It also teaches Mega Man a valuable life lesson: Things that were once dead always come back to life!  like this thread

Beautiful, simply eloquent there.

I want something other than a pillow to cuddle up with at night.

I keep finding that I drop them off the side of the bed when i sleep, or I push them away.

Odd.

Rockman Series / Re: Your favourite and least favourite Megaman game
« on: August 25, 2013, 07:31:49 AM »
I had a list somewhere on here earlier.

Its not accurate anymore, so I'll be changing it.

Classic Series (Divided into two sections since I find the 8-bit games play differently from the other ones):

Favorite 8-Bit: MM3, did so much right and is a decent challenge even to this day.

Least Favorite: MM9, Capcom nostalgia wanking, going backwards on advancements in gameplay (Only keeping rush and the speedier ladder climbing from later games.)

Favorite Post 8-Bit: MM7, Wonderful music, fun weapons, great ending. Always a blast to play.
Least Favorite: MM&B, specifically the GBA version. Lame music, unrelenting difficulty, bullshit dash controls (SFC version didn't have this problem because of a dedicated dash button. [tornado fang] command dashing.), Bosses have far too much invulnerability time.

X:

Favorite: X2, perfect blend of good levels, freedom to play the game with as many or as few upgrades as you want. Truly the best 16-bit X in many cases.

Least Favorite: X4, dull music, probably the worst X armor (Weak hover that only works for a few seconds, [parasitic bomb] buster, Helmet was the only good thing about it.) X doesn't have much in the way of story or significance to the story, probably only there because it wouldn't be an X game without X.

Zero:

Favorite: Z4, Ended the story in style, kept most of the enjoyable extended cast around, added a few more, good boss battles. Rankings optional finally.

Least: Z1, this doesn't mean its a bad game, it did a lot of things really well and did some original stuff like an almost completely connected world. But the ability to fail a mission and lose access to it entirely is a downside, and leveling weapons up to use their charge attacks or complete combos is not fun in the least.

Battle Network:

Favorite: BN6, probably one of the best Navi customizers, decent story, great chip selection, cross system is good.

Least Favorite: Tie between BN5 and BN4, Mediocre Navi Customizers (In BN4's case awful since its the one with the least freedoms, thanks to no Compress codes.), Story in BN4 is almost nonexistant thanks to the game being almost entirely tournaments. BN5 has painfully dull Liberation missions, story is okay. Dark Chips in both games are essentially worthless save for in BN5 for chaos crosses. Soul system is a lousy replacement for the Style Changes of BN2 and 3.

Starforce, ZX, and Legends all get excluded from this as ZX only has two games and I never played the entirety of Starforce or Legends.

Well I particularly never cared for Darth Maul, so him coming back as SPIDER-MECH didn't really faze me.

And that happened in the last season or two, right? So that's still like three seasons of bleh.

Evangelion 2.22 next week (With the usual Bleach and Naruto beforehand).

Guess the first one was a success in the ratings.

But how can Samus survive rolling in that cramped form.

Power Suit Magic and special Chozo Technology.

Which is why the Pirates couldn't reverse engineer it.

Because they don't have the right tools.

Think Samus.

Yeah, I know that.

I don't get what the picture of somebody with a [tornado fang]'d anatomy has to do with Chozo DNA. Its not like the Morph Ball was made of Chozo DNA. It was Power Suit Magic that made it work.

Its closed because it had a serious lack of people actually showing any mods or whatever. Just announcement of intent to make something.

So yeah, same thing you're doing basically.

I'll be polite since you're new and all. But there is already a topic about this that exists.

Rockman Series / Re: The First Boss
« on: August 25, 2013, 01:17:07 AM »
Hm okay so I never made a list here.

1: Bombman, unless I'm just playing a level or two then I start with Cutman.
2: Airman
3: at first Magnetman, then Topman, now its usually Needleman
4: always Toadman
5: Chargeman
6: FlameMan or WindMan
7: FreezeMan, or Burstman if I'm lazy.
8: Tenguman, though I've started with Grenademan before to decent results as well.
9: SplashWoman, no contest.
10: Pumpman

X1: Chill Penguin if playing normally, if doing a challenge run (As far as I can go without armor parts) then usually Armored Armadillo.
X2: Wire Sponge
X3: Neon Tiger since Blizzard Buffalo's too hard for me to do buster only. Tunnel Rhino is a decent choice for me as well since it eliminates that asshat Bit from popping in when I don't need him to be there.
X4: Magma Dragoon or Web Spider.
X5: Grizzly if I want to appease the game by doing him first. Izzy Glow for when I just want to start with somebody else for a change, either way it appeases the [tornado fang]ing game.
X6: Shield Sheldon, Commander Yammark, either works.
X7: the Kangaroo who's name escapes me.
X8: Optic Sunflower, but its been ages since I've played X8 so I can't remember if he was a good choice or not.

Z1: Uhh... I honestly forgot the bosses here, Pass.
Z2: The Snake guy in the Jungle.
Z3: The Bat guy in the weapons factory.
Z4: Mandragora on a first run, Heat Genblem or whatever on a second run.

ZX: the guy who gives you Model F.
ZXA: the Vine thing.

Okay, done.

So i've been finally able to play MMPU and MHX thanks to PSP emulation.

Holy [tornado fang], these are great remakes. Now I'm truly sad the rest never came to fruition.

Physics are a little strange though.

So I had another strange dream today.

It was like... I was in a visual novel or something.

And I could choose where to go.

But I always went to the same place over and over.

Because Samurai Jack has a unique, subtle atmosphere that can't be replicated on page.

Also, why the hell not? It started as a cartoon, it should end as one.

Okay.

Of course if it did end as a cartoon that would be the best option.

But CN doesn't really like to have old stuff come back. So really it'll never happen, I'd say its probably just fine that we're getting this as opposed to nothing.

Who knows, it could be great, it could be [parasitic bomb]. Best to leave opinions open for now though.

Cover arts look pretty though.

Samurai Jack CONTINUES? AS A FREAKING COMIC?

[tornado fang] that.

Why?
