Oh, the load times in the Wii U Menu have been vastly improved.

The eShop has a little minigame to play while it loads (Its the game from SMB3 where you have to get the picture in order, but with VC games instead of a Mushroom, Flower or Star, I can't expect to actually finish a game though since loading doesn't take too long.) I've heard Miiverse got one too.

The VC games on the Wii now go to the proper aspect ratio instead of stretching to the screen.

And I must say, Xenoblade looks wonderful on the smaller screen.

So the "Summer" Firmware update came out today... and it's sort of terrible. Its basically a bunch of Wii Mode improvements, the biggest ones being proper surround sound support (which doesn't matter since the Wii never had Surround capabilities but its probably so stuff doesn't [tornado fang] up on a surround system.) and OFF-TV PLAY FOR YOUR WII GAMES, but you can't use the gamepad for those so you gotta use a Wiimote anyway. Oh well.

Which means $370,000 until Call Level.

And going by the current trend of every $200,000 for the next stretch goal, $570,000 for that last one on the bottom.

I charged my GBASP battery the redneck way: stripping a USB cable and using the power wires directly on the battery.

I'm not really sure how that's something you're currently playing but okay.

I'm currently playing... Sly Cooper 1 HD. Or at least I will be once I get back to it.

Hyperbole helps get people pumped, regardless if they are continuing the Pay-pal after the fact. Good tactic to help get the dollars in.

There are also some Kickstarter rewards not available for the Pay-Pal too? Or did that change?

The limited stuff isn't available.

Once the kickstarter ends those will become available, same with Shantae's kickstarter I believe.

~500k in about 26 hours. Seems kinda wishful thinking, but I'd be more than happy to eat my own words.

And again, The paypal is going to continue afterwards so they'll be able to keep putting money towards stretch goals this way.

I actually liked Nicktoons, though I do agree on shows die there.

They have a bit of a problem when it comes to repeats, by this I mean they like to repeat episodes that were on the day before or very recently after they've been shown.

That's a surefire way to make somebody hate a show, by showing only an episode or two over and over.

That's funny because nicktoon's is where shows go to die.

anyways, with what we know of the paypal total we're about 100K away from the support character. i wonder if they'll keep the paypal donations open after the kickstarter ends...

That's down to about 50,000 now.

The Kickstarter money alone is at the count for Intro Stage as well. So we're damn near close to having every single goal met.

It's a shame we won't see voice-overs happening at the rate this game is being funded, would have love it happen though. I blame timing of this Kickster surfacing.

On the upside, we're about $7.3k away from Risky Mode though I hope some of the other features (costumes, extra chapters, characters, etc.) become DLC down the road after its release.
