Clefant slowly recovered from her crash landing.

Clefant - "Oh, hey no broken bones at least. Lets see how Pidgeot is doing."

Clefant looked at Pidgeot, despite taking a gust directly to the back, was relatively fine. A quick Potion and Pidgeot was back to excellent condition before she returned Pidgeot to its pokeball.

Clefant - "Well, according to that scummy official guy I gotta find people to adventure with or something."

Clefant looked around a bit.

Clefant - "Well [parasitic bomb], I actually have no clue where this is. Maybe if I look at this map I conveniently picked up while I was in Slateport..."

The map read "Petalburg Woods".

Clefant - "Oh joy, a forest right next to two small towns. This seems to be a common thing."

Apparently this gen increased the odds of getting a shiny even further when using the Masuda Method.

I don't even know what that is.

Maybe since I don't get shinies that's probably why. Unless its that Pokeradar thing again in which case I guess I know that.

Clef tried that and it didn't work, plus Rockstar white knighted him and Akamaru almost did the same.  I mean I understand that Clef sometimes gets obsessed and more irritated than he should and sometimes he needs to just let's [parasitic bomb] go but he does not deserved to be called out every single damn time he gets pissed, because sometimes you just need to let it out.

I like how you guys are open about being bugged that I get a bit too obsessive at times.

I'll try to dial it down a bit, sorry. I don't have nearly as many avenues for venting frustration as I used to now that I work a lot more.

To be fair I already suggested ignoring him but honestly I know this won't happen because people will keep feeding him answers to his stupid questions or replying to his nonsense on why he won't evolve his pikachu or whatever (myself included).

Seriously though the guy needs to look [parasitic bomb] up himself. There's no reason he needs us to look up every damn thing for him.

FTR, I don't consider gym leaders as main characters per se. When I say that, I mean characters like Red, Green/Blue. Or whoever is seen for more than 10 episodes worth. Yes, gym leaders are important, but you only see them once or twice, or on special occasions like Brock. But you should have known what I was talking about when I said main.

You use game names like Red yet you refer to the anime where no such character exists.
Ash is not the same as red.

Again, if you're so against evolving your pikachu, Fine, use a different [tornado fang]ing pokemon then because keeping Pikachu around just because its the mascot is a terrible reason and you're hurting the strength of your team because of it.

And that's fine. I just didn't take those into account when going over how many books I have. I guess I was thinking novels.

I have quite a few books if I add those and the multiple Calvin & Hobbes collections I have into the mix, like maybe 25 or something.

Like Sakura said, his reasons are superficial at best. If he's got such an adversity to evolving his Pikachu so it stands a better chance in battle he should just switch it out for something more capable of taking down the elite four instead.

I don't feel a single twinge of regret for what's going on in the Pokemon thread. If you're gonna not make your pokemon stronger/swap it out for a better one for those reason then you have no reason to complain that you're getting your ass handed to you.

You say this as if it has any meaning in gameplay. Jack Frost is the Mascot of Atlus but that doesn't make him a very valuable persona/demon in the SMT series. Slime is the Mascot for Dragon Quest but that doesn't mean it serves as much more than an enemy class.

And? The Anime has no bearing on the games save for Yellow.

Also, since you seem to think the anime is this great [tornado fang]ing thing you need to stick to, Lt. Surge evolved his Pikachu into Raichu, maybe not onscreen but he [tornado fang]ing did it so this one is invalid.
