But anyway as far as I'm concerned the only thing about Star Wars I care about is the Trilogy.

Same here, I try to not think about the Extended stuff, the prequels, the CGI Clone Wars, or anything like that really.

Why did everyone switch to Gmail? I use my Yahoo account more than my Gmail account.

I have a Gmail but I never use it.

I've never used Yahoo, always used the one my ISP provides.

[tornado fang]. Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead today. Such a versatile and fantastic actor.

What? That does suck, he was pretty good in Moneyball and MI3.

Goddamn, not even 50 yet. That's too soon.

Wait that's how magic works in FF8?

That's goofy.

Well, usually figures have about a three-four month turnaround after pre-orders (I say usually because Delays happen all the time, Sailor Moon's figuarts was pushed back like twice, and Alter likes to push stuff back constantly). Saying its March will either lead to him being rushed out to meet the date (Which will lead to defect city and a lot of shitty figures.) or they'll push it back and annoy people.

Also March is a month where a lot of stuff I'm buying is coming out and I'd like to not spend over $200 on figures in one month as is.

Coming in.... March?

At least the Aura Sphere doesn't look like a flat piece of [parasitic bomb].

But seriously, that's too early, and [tornado fang]ing hell why march.

Have you informed you manager? If it's a management decision for people with "children" to get preferential treatment, then it's up to the manager's discretion to let people abuse it. But make sure the manager knows. And do not confront the patron, yourself. That is not your job.

I just found it... strange is all.

Saw two people go through my line today with a stroller.

The stroller had a Hello Kitty plush in it, wearing clothing and buckled in.

And the iOS version doesn't support a bluetooth controller or keyboard?

Not unless they get it to account for the movement system being "tap anywhere and a d-pad appears" and attacks being bound to three different buttons.

Phantasia is an SNES game.

Yes, it is.

But the remakes are better games. Though they lack translations since Japan apparently thinks we hate Phantasia after that godawful GBA Port.

Of course now they have an official translation so they have no excuse to not release the PSP port as a Digital Download.

RPGs: Lufia I II, Ys IV V, Final Fantasy I II III, Wild Arms I II III, Tales of Phantasia Symphonia, Star Ocean I II
Action: Front Mission: Gun Hazard, Actraiser I II, Beyond Oasis, Legend of Oasis, Crusader of Centi, Umihara Kawase, Dual Hearts
Shooting: Gradius III V
Adventure: Zork?

Well Phantasia will have to be a hold because [tornado fang] if I'm playing the iOS version with its awkward controls and buffed difficulty.

Symphonia I have on the way.

By Final Fantasy I II III you mean the actual I II and III or I IV VI?

Beyond Oasis is a Genesis game right? I think that's in the PS3 collection I own. Wild Arms 1 I got.

Okay, scratch one of the PC-98 and FM Towns games I was gonna recommend...

Well in the case of those I'm sure dedicated emulators exist.

I think PC-98 was one of the systems the original Popful Mail was on and I've been meaning to try that anyway.

Computer games are tougher because [tornado fang]ing around with DOSBox isn't fun and older games that came after DOS era computers are plagued with compatability issues.

Specific Genres?

Well I like RPGs, Platformers, Action games, Shooting games that aren't too deep into Bullet Hell territory, and Adventure games.

Which system?

Something emulatable.

For me that spans up to the Wii with minor difficulties. Preferably something that I could easily purchase if I liked it, whether physically or digitally.

Like Turbografx stuff is obtainable on the PS3 and Wii but its relatively expensive physically.
Neogeo same deal.

Nothing interesting going on lately.

Recommend me some older games. Games I can easily obtain.

Also took the Jung personality test thing again for the second time in my life.  Still a INJT with nearly the same percentages I had in high school.

That's... Introverted... Judging... Techinical, I forget what the N was.

Link to the Past is out on the Wii U in the US now. Still has the modification where the flashing in the title screen is dimmed because of Seizure fear.

Also bought The Castlevania Adventure on the 3DS because why the hell not.

Okay, while 3 Landmasters was a serious issue (Why couldn't wolf be like the Star Wolf team coming down and raining hell on the playfield.), "Toon Link is a Clone" is just a no [parasitic bomb] sherlock deal.

He's basically just reskinned Young Link, just fitting to the flavor of the times.

Trophies was a thing that could've been better, no reason we needed to have a ton of one-off DK characters like Xananab or Kalypso yet Yoshi's set literally was just Yoshi, his final smash, Baby Mario, and I think Pak E. Derm.

That said, Brawl's Aesthetics get a lot better once you start to make it goofy with Texture hacks and music changes.

I like Gimmick stages personally, if you want "Neutral" stages then just stick with Boring Battlefield and Final Destination.

Stage Builder was interesting if a little simplistic, I'd like to see it come back if stages could be bigger or have more unique parts.

Loading times, really they weren't that bad.

Tripping and some of the other miscellany were my main issues, Masterpieces served little to no purpose other than to be an advertisement for full length games (That if you wanted to you could play right off of brawl via cheats, but the N64 games crashed IIRC.), Break the Targets got so boring after doing it like 5 times. And I cared not for stickers, I'd rather have more trophies.

Also, [tornado fang] that stupid coin launcher game, the chance of getting a new trophy needs to be seriously buffed if they do that again.

Have you played Aria, Dawm, Ecclesia, or Portrait?

Portrait, yes.

The others, nope.

Symphony of the Night is done.

Good game, but getting Stunlocked is a pain in the ass, and the Inverted Castle just felt lazy.

I thought that was always free. Huh.

It is, its just come back for four days. After which it will venture back into the empty abyss of not being available for download.

Symphony of the Night is draining as all [tornado fang] and really just isn't as fun once you hit the Inverted Castle.
