The hyper beam is shooting off some really strange shots lately.

They all look like some boy's face.

ToS HD.

First impressions/observations:

-Textures are still muddy SD textures, presumably so they don't look out of place, the same applies to the new costumes.
-Costumes still locked to titles, because [tornado fang] effort lets just make it so you can't play dress-up and still get level up bonuses.
-Still no Voiced skits, but the game lets you switch between English and Japanese whenever you have menu access so I try to switch it to Japanese for skits but keep it in English at all other points.
-Framerate is locked at 30fps, this isn't a big deal for the field since that's how it always was but in areas and battles its very noticable.
-Music seems quiet at times, but that could've been because I was playing on a 5.1 system.

Apparently the general consensus is they really didn't care enough to make a really good HD remaster, just a somewhat okay one.

The collector's edition goodies are [tornado fang]ing great though. I love the inclusion of the complete soundtrack for both games.

He's busy at work.

I'm home now... D:

But seriously, I'm gonna wait till the fighting's over.

Anyway, Symphonia came with both the traditional case (With tasteful reversible cover) and a steelbook.

WHICH DO I CHOOSE

Its not that Street Fighter had an aversion to the number three (They made Alpha 3 before SF3 IIRC.) Its just an aversion to main series numbered sequels, which is why we have like four SF4's.

And regarding the Wilypocalypse thing, you pretty much nailed it, couldn't have done it better myself.

Another Half Life 3 joke?

HL3, L4D3, HL2:E3, whatever works, point is they don't get along with threes.

Is it supposed to be 3/3 = 1 or something?

Think of what valve has made with the number three in it.

Man, that must have been so hard on you.

Oy, I can't share a memory? Thinking back it really wasn't a big deal since Magic Kingdom was basically the same thing and we went there like two/three years later.

Last time I went to disneyland was in 2001 or 2003.

I forget which.

It was also the last time I went.

I think I only saw like half the park because mom had the brilliant idea of taking my at the time baby cousin and my aunt with.

We wasted so much time waiting for them. Only saw Mickey's Toontown, Tommorowland, Fantasyland, and the Mainstreet obviously.

I still recall how Naruto was initially supposed to wear goggles, but the author changed it to a headband, because he was too lazy to draw goggles on numerous panels.

He had goggles in the first episode or something.
But instead they became the almighty weeaboo headband, gracing the foreheads of sweaty casual viewer neckbeards since 2006.

But yeah, original concept sounds better. Way better than the mess it became.

Wow....the original concept of Naruto actually sounds a lot better than the result.

I see. Go on.

Yeah, I'll just wait until PS+ offers Pac-Man Museum for free.

Also, that's a shame about Arrangement, as that's one of my favorite Pac-Man titles.

Mine as well, it and the other arrangements get shilled so much. When was the last time Mappy Arrangement or Rally X Arrangement were re-released? Pac-Man at least had a GBA and a 6th Gen Console rerelease.

yeah your username wasn't the one that gave it away

Oh, I saw "The Skype", I was just trying to act like I was oblivious to that obvious irregularity.

Fact remains that his exit post is one of the funniest posts on the board.

And to be fair, he didn't get banned until he decided he wasn't welcome anymore.

Pac-Man Museum came up a bit back.

Its rather pricy for what literally amounts to a bunch of easily emulatable/easy to find games (And Pac-Man Battle Royale) at $20, and its got some video issues (You can't resize any of the games, and the game is locked at 720p because Namco doesn't know how to make an option for PC resolutions apparently.) but I'm having fun with it.

The package entails:
Pac-Man (Duh)
Pac-Mania
Pac & Pal
Pac-Land
Super Pac-Man
Pac-Attack (Genesis version specifically.)
Pac-Man Battle Royale (The 4-Player Arcade game that came out recently, Local Multiplayer only though.)
Pac-Man Arrangement (NOT the awesome 1996 one with the bitching music, instead its the one from the PSP Namco Museum.)
Pac-Man Championship Edition (The original version, before DX and DX+)
Ms. Pac-Man is DLC, its free till the end of march then it becomes a staggering $5.

The most fun here is getting stamps for beating set goals. Problem is a lot of them are "Earn X Points" and the point values rack up to the 500,000 marker, which on the arcade games is [tornado fang]ing difficult as hell (so far the easiest game is PSP Arrangement and I still only managed 300,000 by the end of the game.) Collecting stamps unlocks little visual trinkets in the "Pac-Room", which just amounts to little props and the characters from that apparently terrible TV show.

I bought it because I've been waiting for this for a while, sucks that the 3DS/Wii U version got cancelled but it works fine on PC. But I can't recommend this, its only really for people who really really want to play lots of different Pac-Man games, who knows, maybe they'll add some more games later down the line, I'd love to see Pac-Man World or the Midway games.

HD Version? Was the PS2 version even released in the states?

Nope, however the HD Chronicles release is based off the PS2 version, in both the good and bad ways (Locked at 30fps from what I hear.)
DotNW is probably still a bad game but its waggle free now at least.

I've played it before, I mainly bought the HD version out of nostalgia and because Collector's Edition.
