Wi-Fi Blueray players are cheaper and they don't play video games anyway.  Plus he paid for the PS3 anyway.

No I didn't. It is my dads but he almost never plays it. If anything I get the most mileage out of that thing.
I'll buy my own PS3 in due time, I just don't want to have to lose all my saves and such.

Do they use the same TV you do or do you guys use different TVs?

I have my own TV, they use the one downstairs.

PS: Buy them a Roku.

It is if they told you they've been wanting to use it for a while and you've been procastinating giving it back.

They never ask.

PS3 specifically, for [tornado fang]ing Netflix.
That I pay for.
That they can funnel through to the TV using their laptops.

This is... what, the third time they've taken the [tornado fang]ing thing when I'm playing a game? I mean, these last two times I've had my game saved but if I'm doing grindy [parasitic bomb] in an RPG maybe I don't save all the time so when they take it then without asking I lose lots of progress.

Okay, real talk guys.

Would somebody taking something that they own that you're currently using without saving whatever it is you were doing okay or not?

Sounds like you got Game Over.

I did, but for all I care that was the end anyway, the controls were so [tornado fang]ing terrible that half the time it wouldn't register button commands. I'm not sure if that was a problem with the original release or not but it was an unwelcome surprise to have such stiff controls.

They were dead the whole time?

Nah, they went to luin and some knights went there and killed them.
Only an hour long, shortest retail game i've ever played.

If it's okay to spoil things, all of them except Kratos for obvious reasons, do become permanent party members by late game.  And once you learn combine attacks things can get broken.  But other than that that sounds horrible that the controls don't work that well.

Yeah, I know that. Except none of them are allowed to get new equipment/titles, let alone level up. And the fact that all of them save for I think just Colette (and probably Kratos if the intro is anything to go by) have different voice actors because... actually there really was no reason given for that was there?

Thanks, you just save me the trouble of even bothering with DotNW. I had hunch that it wasn't gonna be a good sequel to Symphonia.
Its just frustrating after playing a game that has considerably better controls, made by the same company, that's three years older, and then trying to play its so called sequel, where it seems like they sapped any happiness out of anything, even the graphics show that because its all so washed out looking compared to the bright colorful graphics of the first game.

So DotNW was a rather short game, Emil and Marta die in Luin and the world ends.

How grim.

Was a child who draw the enimies?
People are a lot of needy by megaman

What?

Anyway, I'm done with DotNW now. Holy [tornado fang] what the hell is wrong with the controls, I'm constantly [tornado fang]ing fighting the game to do what I want to do, the Ally Monster AI is worthless, and UP + O doesn't seem to work. I mean, I was sort of looking forward to seeing the older characters again but I guess Namco decided they only deserved guest treatment and made them worthless so yeah great going.

Great game guys, I'm playing on [tornado fang]ing normal so you think I'd have a fighting chance seeing as the battle system is similar to Abyss but instead it feels clunky and unresponsive, attacks don't seem to do that much damage, the enemies guard WAY too often, and my controls seem to have noticeable delay behind them. Also I totally love how in Symphonia I can use the D-Pad to control since using the stick seems to register UP+O as a Left/Right+O more often than not but in DotNW that's just not something I can do, then again in Symphonia the game didn't always try to make me play in Semi-Auto when I prefer Manual.

Yeah I had basically started calling the movie 'Man of Collateral Damage' once they started fighting through the product placement.

So I finally saw Man of Steel today.

it was alright.

I'm kind of wondering how Superman vs. Batman will turn out now honestly.

Also, prepare to point at things.

PS3 version, so no waggle fun for me. I'm pretty sure it'll be done with the right stick or something instead.

Prepare for flashbacks.

Oh, I've already seen like two or three flashing back to either the exact same cutscene or a cutscene that only just happened.

And we've hit the first "Courage is the magic that turns dreams into reality."
And second one now too.
Its just going to get worse from here isn't it.

Finished Symphonia.

Now trying DotNW (Which runs in a silky smooth 60fps, lovely.), and immediately everybody in Luin is a total [dark hold].

Oh boy, its just like Hamil in Xillia. I was so glad when Hamil's population was killed so I guess if Luin gets destroyed again I'll not feel bad.

On the plus side, JYB is easily making this worth it.

Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remaster

It was like $37 dollars so I figured why not.

There's a Sega sale on the Humble Weekly sale.

$6 gives you Binary Domain, Typing of the Dead Overkill, Hell Yeah, some emulated Sega Genesis games and some other games.

I guess the German version of the bundle cuts Typing of the Dead and puts in Sonic Racing.

Also of note is that they're selling other Sega games for dirt cheap on the site as well. Jet Set Radio for $1.49 and the Dreamcast Collection for $4.49, as well as the complete (by that I mean sans Sonic and Toejam & Earl) set of Sega Genesis games released on Steam for $9.99.

(I could almost assume that ADA's Cortana-like appearance, was my idea, except for her hair. But now that I think about it, I might actually continue coloring in those sketches of her.

Gotta say Peebs is looking good in that one.)

(Don't be taking credit for other characters appearances. The only times that's acceptable is when you partially design a character, like with Akai I can give her design credit to Tron since he came up with that appearance, because if I had done it she would've just turned out to have been an actual waifu or something and that would be annoying.

BUT ANYWAY, yeah I'm pretty sure PB had this stuff already designed years ago.)

Use an emulator and rig them back.

I'm playing the PS3 version, that's not an option.

(Cool. Sometimes I wish I had stuff for my characters but for the most part I find it better to leave their appearance mostly to the imagination.)

Back in 1999 it snowed in May in my hometown.

I think if the conditions are right it can snow whenever.

We had snow here till May 2nd last year.

And its finally starting to really go away now.

You can understand why I want it to stay gone, right?
