So now that the Self proclaimed owner of the Badlands after Sparky left is gone, who owns them now?

Or are they now actually badlands and thus have no ownership... (not that Ares claiming ownership over them ever stopped anyone from building anything there)

How long has it been since Sparky left? It seems a shame to call it Sparkvernia when its founder isn't even here anymore.

He is somehow able to get PSG avatars without getting caught by the filters.

I don't have a filter.

He is somehow trying to continue this chain of "He is Somehow..." He also likes Bionicle, and thats awesome.

The mysterious cloaked man found his way to a TV studio, without anybody caring he walked on into a set of a Newscast, sitting down next to the undeniably attractive female news anchor.

Move aside, please.

The news anchor moved aside for the man to move to the center of the camera. Without hesitation he shedded his cloak.

Underneath the cloak was a man dressed in a white robe, up where his head would be was a black mask with a large afro shaped spot on the top of it.
The only holes visible were for his eyes and mouth, his eyes were yellowish with red irises. He stood up and exclaimed:

GOOD EVENING CITIZENS OF RPM, MY NAME.... IS MASTER G! I WILL BE HERE OBSERVING YOU AND HOSTING INTRESTING EVENTS. YOU WILL SEE ME AGAIN!

Chuck.

"Master G" Walked off the set, Chuck following him.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, "Anarchy" was getting irritated at the wait, it had been "10 minutes till the start" for at least 3 days, it seemed.

When is this going to get over with? God-damnit this is annoying.

« on: February 16, 2011, 05:20:10 AM »
I personally hate how games mistreat gamers who wish to play easy mode with things like

"You beat the final boss but there's still more, grow a pair and play on normal dipshit!"

or

"You just beat Normal! Now go play hard mode because there's a better ending when you play it on hard."

I don't play easy on the ZX or Zero games (If only because theres a thing you cannot do or obtain by playing easy.) and instead I play normal because of those limitations on Easy, thus allowing me to get better at the Zero series games (Thank god.)

Also, MM10's Easy mode (Oh [tornado fang]ing well I suck at playing games boo fuckity hoo, I'm going at Normal with Protoman so I'm not terrible or anything.) was a nice change of pace from MM9 (Which I will not be able to beat for the forseeable future), But if anything, all action, adventure, or platformers should come with a difficulty selection STANDARD. And allow players to access the whole game without telling them they need to suck less to get to the rest of the game.

The main problem I have with the day is that it's expected, and everyone does something. To me, that takes away from the whole idea of romance. Plus, in places like this, it's winter. There's slush on the ground, it's cold, and ultimately not the most romantic of weather. That and restaurants charge more. LoL, if you want to celebrate a romantic day like this, do it in June.

Its actually pretty warm in Wisconsin, somewhere in the 40's. Its nice.

Just a commercialized crapfest.

I hope you aren't talking about MaWa Deuce? The single player was great, but were you really going to buy a shooter for its single player aspect?
You can say that for pretty much every FPS, and I personally enjoyed the Spec-Ops mode, it was extremely enjoyable with a partner and most missions did rely on teamwork.
And Sega's purpose was to be edgier and cooler than Nintendo and now they work alongside in their consoles, Nintendo saved the games industry and now it's despise for creating the Wii, Xbox was made for "hardcore" gamers and now they flaunt Kinect with Dance Central being the only stand out game, Playstation 1 was wildly popular, beat out Nintendo in every single way and then it had a completely awful launch. Companies change, they change in order to gain more money, Activision wasn't going to gain much money by making text adventures every two to three years.

I've never played MW2 nor do I plan on it.

And some people do buy Shooters for the Single Player, I mean [parasitic bomb], Half-Life? TimeSplitters? METROID PRIME?

What I'm mainly complaining about is the fact that once a new game comes out (From COD4 to World at War to MW2 to Black Ops) You pretty much have to buy the new one in order to continue playing online because people migrate from playing the earlier to the newer, and thus if you tried playing COD4 nowadays you'd find the hardcore people who haven't moved on still playing, but hardly anybody else, and what if Activision just cancelled Online for the older releases to get people to buy the new one? That would be some serious bullshit.

The Mysterious Mystery Man continued through the streets and stumbled upon the Neko Cafe (Convienently, as it seems everybody goes there at one point or another.) He sat down at the bar while a panicked catgirl took his order.

You want something? Please hurry! Nya~

Water.

A cold glass of water was slid down and caught by the man's rather large hand. Instead of him drinking it, he instead pulled out what looked like a stuffed toy dog, with Zippers thrown about. He forced the water down the odd specimen's gullet, with it screaming in pain what sounded like "Chuck".

Sir, what is that? Nya~ It looks like a Dog, Nya~

Its just Chuck.

What on earth is a Chuck? Nya~

The man looked up at the innocent Catgirl, his reddish pupils staring straight into the catgirl's frightened eyes.

Do you know where the nearest location of intrest is?

Uhh... I actually don't know, Nya~

Thanks Anyway.

The man paid the poor catgirl and walked out. Chuck followed shortly after.

[Just throwing a little PSG Flair into this joint, no biggie.]

Intresting thing I just noticed today (This may be old news), but the Wii Version of Cave Story got a nice update, the Music is a little different in some spots (The Cave Story Theme Remix is different.) and overall it feels a little more crisp, but that might be me playing it on the Wii with Component Cables.

Also, the main menu is different somewhat.

And yet practically every single other game company has been making casual games to make their money. Instead at least Activision is making their money on more gamer centric games.

Well yeah, if you call college-age douchebags who suck [parasitic bomb] but talk smack on COD Gamers, then you can say Activision is doing just that.

Nope, Activision is a [tornado fang]ing farmer milking its last few dying cows, Guitar hero wasn't producing enough milk for them so they shot it straight through the skull.

I have nothing against COD, but calling it a gamer-centric game is highly questionable seeing how its just an excuse to pull out a million more WW2 and Vietnam FPS' with marginal difference between them and force you to pay $60 for a Multiplayer aspect that you already had in a different game with slightly different mechanics and weapons, with a tiny single-player mode to play for those who don't like multiplayer, if you bought it for Single-player, you wasted about $40 because it isn't long enough to a standalone game, an Expansion pack maybe, but not something to spend $60 on.
