I FINALLY DID IT!
I finally beat Zelda 2!

Now I don't know what else to play.

Posted on: February 18, 2012, 09:08:22 PMWell i decided to go back to 3D Dot Game Heroes, feeling confident after beating Zelda 2 I figured the game deserved to get another chance.
Good thing I decided to pick up a new sword, I was able to get through the Flame Temple without dying.

So now I'm at the near end of the game, One temple and the Dark Tower left to beat, and naturally some more minigames from hell, and some pointless sidequests with pointless key items so I can hopefully get all of the swords in this one go so I don't have to do the minigames from hell again to get the swords that come from those.

Posted on: February 21, 2012, 05:45:49 AMWell after a frustrating revelation of missing one single key item about halfway through the game I missed out on collecting the coveted Moon Sword and grinding small blocks to obtain the last few swords. Oh well, got a completed bestiary so I don't have to worry about it later.

Starting on FROM Mode, I intend on following the walkthrough on Gamefaqs so I don't miss a single [tornado fang]ing thing, because I really don't want to do Dash Circuit again (Even though I have improved, less resets and it appears my twitchy reflexes are coming back.) The game is going a lot faster now, no deaths (Any that do happen are not continued from, might as well go for a few trophies.), a lot more money, all thanks to buying the Excalibur sword from King Block in my first playthrough (The Small Block Swords are the only ones that cross over to a new save), though I will say its rather [tornado fang]ing annoying that they upped the amount of enemies that appear in the overworld, Blue Dragons and Crystal Slimes appear more often, which is nice to get Small Blocks/Money, but those Dragons can rip you apart easily. And a lot of the areas now have Cloudon enemies, fast, annoying fuckers that float above you and shoot you with Lightning, since the spawn rate has increased you can occasionally find an area with 6-7 of these just clumped together, which is a pain since you can't kill them until you beat the Aqua Temple and get Freeze, but it takes a lot of magic.

I'm right back to the point at where I ragequit, it shouldn't be too bad this time though.

Naturally the cash cow franchise based on war would win either because of "its based on real events so of course we chose it" or activision lined the voter's pockets with "recommendations". Though I would think that would be cause for disqualification.

He's about the worst tripfag (Though most of them are poison, alot of the real annoying ones are either gone or hiding), I'm all for him getting banned like everybody else, mainly because he's more whiny than a child at the store who can't get a toy because his mom said no. I only really read Slippery Slope threads anymore anyway. Either that or go on /toy/ and see if there's anything on new figures that intrest me.

it was the common response to some moron posting ponies on /a/ because 'DURR FANART OF ANIME PONIES MEANS IT GOES ON /A/'
so we told them to go there because honestly they don't belong on /a/.

Though, Pokemon had a board for itself in the form of /vp/ since they apparently [parasitic bomb] up /v/ (As if it isn't [parasitic bomb] now), now /vp/ is apparently a cesspool, so presumably because its a board for a very singular type of fandom, it will become a cesspool as well and get... cleaned up, along with any soul that posted in it.

I still don't know why we had to use this thread, it would be easier to have a thread exclusively for the haters and people who want to complain rather than share a board with the people who like/love it. but oh well. Flamewars would happen anyway.

as i've mentioned before, the fanbase is the reason people such as my self are polarized by the show's existance. Some people are accepting and can live with the extremist fans, while people like me on the other hand want the sociopathic fans to either keep it to themselves or get shot into the sun.

And this isn't being discussed there because this started with the complaining of there being a pony board on 4chan which basically legitimizes bronies far more than necessary. Of course since people keep [tornado fang]ing mentioning them they keep becoming more and more mainstream, hell, I they got mentioned in some update for playstation home, they're not important, they don't belong in anything so in order to have some semblance of belonging they become this cancerous fanbase that every other fanbase hates, (Huh, that sounds like furries, which is funny since most people relate them to furries, bronies don't think they are furry despite the fact that they like [tornado fang]ing cartoon horses so its probably anthro-bestiality AKA Furry. and furries don't want anything to do with bronies since they're probably more cancerous than them.)

Besides, that topic is for the praise of the show, i'm pretty sure our rambling and complaining/arguing would not be welcome.

The show was commissioned by HASBRO, they only made the show so people would buy their awful toys. The only reason the show is considered E/I is because they apparently try and force some shitty aesop down the kid's throats as an excuse that they're teaching them something. If kids want to understand friendship they need to understand how to make actual social [tornado fang]ing relationships and not watch some shitty TV show.
Friendship? The only friendship they're wanting kids to learn is the friendship of the good Mr. Jackson and that giving Mr. Jackson to the cashier means you get some of Hasbro's "Friendship" in return.
Seriously, the Hub is basically a place for Advertising Hasbro's toy line and rerunning Happy Days and 1960's Batman, nothing more.

I tried it as well.

Yeah, but most of them are (Also why would you say something like that it makes it sound like you know something about this thing).
They say how fanbases can ruin anything, and really, despite how many people say this show is good I can't really be assed to care/believe them because the fanbase (for the most part) is a bunch of rabid sociopaths with no care that everybody outside of their circlejerking hates them and wants them wiped off of the face of the earth. Though I've heard that most people who post those stupid pony reaction images are just trying to get a rise out of everybody else, though everything they do is really unnecessary, they play TF2 and [parasitic bomb] up games with their sprays, obnoxious names, and micspamming (Though that's blockable, the other [parasitic bomb] isn't.) They make [tornado fang]ing Garry's Mod Ragdolls and somehow get them ALL accepted into the Toybox so when looking for ragdolls you have to go through a whole page of [tornado fang]ing ponies. They feel the need to constantly bring up the fact that they like the show whenever its completely unrelated to the context of a topic. They make pony parodies of good things to reaffirm their fandom while alienating the other fandoms. They have some retarded as [tornado fang] dialect that gets really annoying to see people type out. And worst of all, they keep believing that a MY LITTLE PONY show was made for people like them, 15-30 year old neckbeards with no friends because they like a show that was made and has always been meant for 6 year old girls.

TV and a Famicom, just like any region. All the games have the Mario Coin sound tho.

The color of the game cartridges are different tho, to reflect their original real life colors.

The fact that you can see the cart is kind of cool, rather a shame that every game uses the Mario Coin.
Naturally with the NES they use the Toaster design so we don't get to see a cartridge.
Still, its a beautiful attention to detail, it has a much better presentation than we originally got.

In Japan, 3 Famicom games are available to buy.

Punch-Out!! (Mr. Dream version)

Well, Japan does get stuff faster than the US, but Punch Out too? I would've taken that over Golf.
Quick question, do the Famicom games have a little famicom next to them on the menu, and does the little sound that plays when you highlight a game change between the games (With Mario it's a coin, so I'm wondering if Zelda and Punch out have anything different.)

Just a small update to let non-ambassadors know that SMB 1 is finally available in the US for $4.99.

Hopefully this means that the rest of the NES games get their updates within the coming weeks.

I guess I was right about the original releases having a prototype design on the menu as the updated version loses the little jingle the NES games had and now shows a TV with an NES beside it. Its pretty cool looking.
