I agree with that!  I only put cream cheese on bagels.  And I slather it on nice and thick.

For me, it's a texture thing.  Fruit changes the pancake's texture, and I find it sickening.  Chocolate chips are fine, as the texture and flavor are different and mix better with the bread texture and taste of the pancake.

I tend to find most fruit/starch combinations to be gross.  I was never a fan of strawberry shortcake.  The food, not the character.  Loved the character as a kid.

My pancakes must be plain buttermilk pancakes.  If I find one blueberry in my pancakes...  O:<

Same goes for my waffles, though chocolate chips are fine.

So, one of my art books has an image of a gaunt, pale guy playing a baby doll like a violin.  I wonder what was going through the artist's mind when they drew it...

"So, I need to draw something all Gothic.  Well, creepy dolls are Gothic, violins are Gothic, I'LL COMBINE THE TWO!"

I never took home ec.  Perhaps this is why I never cook and can't sew.

I took shop in school.  So, I can't cook, but I can use power tools.

"Whatever you need signed, I'll sign," Quickie nodded. "Like I said, there's stuff back at our place in Saffron.  If Team Rocket hadn't ransacked it, you should find plenty of evidence to support getting Mewtwo back, show that he was in good hands."

-screams- I wanna live there!!!!!

Not around tourist season when the traffic gets horrible, you don't. :P In general, during the height of the tourist season, locals will actively avoid downtown, due to traffic snarls.  However, during the off-season, it's quite nice.  Lots of farmland, plenty of walking trails on the Battlefield, plenty of history.

The transit system in-town is pretty decent, though during the height of the season, it can get crowded, delayed, and snarled as badly as the Square that out-of-towners can't seem to ever navigate properly.

I avoided town for most of the 150th, but had to make a grocery trip and traffic was backed up.  Tourists will blindly jaywalk into the street every few feet, and even across the Square, which makes the traffic even worse.  The curb-to-curb buses weren't running then, either.  They were all needed for shuttling people to and from the reenactments.

Anyway, I'm tired, so I'm going to bed.

When your arms decide that you're not going to do that last pushup, that's how you end up--splayed like a pancake on the floor. XD

Quickie nodded. "I'd suggest getting Mewtwo's computer, but only he can use it, so that's compromised already, and, well... he's not here." She took another swig of her coffee. "I have some stuff back in Saffron, so a search warrant should get those items pretty easily... if Team Rocket hadn't ransacked the place..."

I am sore from exercising.  At one point during my last rep, my arms could not do any more.  So, my last pushup in that rep ended up just being me splayed on the floor.

Oh well.  Better luck next time.

(Just baby Ryhorns and NIDOQUEENS.)

Yeung shook his head. "According to what records we have, Mewtwo is infertile, as we believe Mew to be."  He finally returned to his seat, picking up his computer and sitting, placing it on his lap. "Most Legendaries, from what we know, are infertile.  But how Mewtwo was able to create fertile clones may simply have more to do with those clones than with whatever genetic material it introduced.  The other donors in Mewtwo's own biological makeup would have rendered the resulting creature sterile, anyway."

Mewtwo glowered. "I would appreciate it if you would not discuss me as if I were not present."

"Perhaps and perhaps not," Yeung gave a shrug. "At this point, there are no plans to reinstate the cloning projects, but we would love to see why Mewtwo fared so well.  And its own knowledge in creating life would be quite useful in many fields."

"I already told you how I created my clones," Mewtwo finally spoke. "You know everything.  I do not know why your attempts did not survive, I only knew why I survived."

Domino watched the exchange for a moment before clearing her throat and readjusting her Harley vocal nuances. "So, if your clones are fertile, what about you?"

Mewtwo was taken aback by the question. "I... do not know..."

Since I only had Yellow and Silver, it was Electric and Water for me.  In Pokemon World Online, I'm using a Fire starter.

Heh.  Fire starter.  Fire fire.  Hehhehheh.  Fire is cool. </beavis>

Dr. Yeung looked to Joe and James. "Basically, we face a lot of problems with cloning.  When you're making a clone, the DNA is the same, but problems arise with the gene expression.  That's where we get the abnormalities.  Most clones don't survive due to these complications, usually lung defects, organ failure, and a shortened lifespan due to the shortening of the telomeres at the ends of the chromosomes."

Domino gave him a look, telling him that he had more or less lost everyone in the room, including Mewtwo, who simply looked puzzled.

Yeung nodded and cleared his throat. "Many of the problems we've faced in cloning are accelerated aging, organ failure, susceptibility to infections, infertility, and shortened lifespans due to the aforementioned problems."  He stood, put his computer on his chair, and walked over to the table. "What amazes me is that Mewtwo is still alive, despite its genetic code.  Since it was a result of repeated gene-splicing, the problems inherent with other clones would be more prominent in Mewtwo, due to the mishmash of DNA.  But, it's healthy.  It's alive and healthy, and it managed to create a fertile race of clones, and it was a shame that it escaped, as it is so important to our studies.  What allowed Mewtwo to survive when other clones failed?  What allows its creations to survive?"

Mewtwo remained silent, irritated that he was being talked about as if he were not present.

Domino nodded and looked to Ryuta. "One of the reasons Dr. Yeung here is so eager to examine it, see what's allowing it to keep on ticking."

Mewtwo swallowed, unnerved by those words.

Quickie nodded. "I can get you whatever information you need, and we've got Misty in town, and she can vouch for Mewtwo, and we're trying to reach Ash, as he can, too."

I'd need to get a 3DS before I can play. 8D

Fennekin would be my starter.  So cute.
