Yeung finally glanced up. "They've been there all day. There's more than just me working on this project."
Mewtwo had finally stood, somewhat unsteadily, and he tested his balance. "So help you if you have harmed my clones..."
"They're fine," Yeung dismissed him. "Your Charizard has an attitude problem, though. We almost muzzled it."
Mewtwo bristled and started for Yeung, but stopped. He could not lose control. If he were to cause harm to these people, they would harm his clones. He sucked in a deep breath. "I do not care what you do to me. Just do not harm my clones. Whatever you want to learn from them, you can learn from me."

Yeung nodded, not turning around. "Sure, sure. Might be best if it's returned when my team is done in that room, anyway."
Mewtwo was already working to extricate himself from the chair, dropping the cold compresses. The only thing on his mind was seeing his clones, though as he was sitting up, he took notice to the bandages on his arms. Yeung had used several injection sites, two on his neck tube, one on each arm, and a fourth on his right ankle. He did not want his clones to see those, and he considered removing the bandages when he had the chance, preferably when he was out of sight of Yeung. His Recover would have taken care of the wounds by now, anyway.

Mewtwo continued to look around, leaning to look behind James. "Amber?"
Yeung raised an eyebrow. "Who's Amber? Are you hearing voices?" He nodded to the cup of water. "Drink up and relax, we're almost done here. I just need to draw one more blood sample and you're done." He walked away to get a new needle.
Mewtwo finally did as he was told, leaning back and staring at the ceiling. Obviously, the others did not see Amber, and thus it was best if he kept the matter to himself. He wasn't entirely sure what had happened, though the light-headed feeling from earlier was gone, along with the cold prickles. He had control over his limbs again, and aside from feeling flushed, as if he had just gotten over a fever, he felt more or less normal. His stomach growled to remind him once again that he needed food, and he silenced it with another drink of water.
Yeung returned and busied himself with drawing some blood. "Alright, we're almost done, here. Cutting it a bit short, but the results should be sufficient. It was quite tragic. We didn't eat that little crab. The buffet, though, has a large open-air fish tank full of koi, so we took the little crab and dropped it inside, where one of the fish ate it. We couldn't eat it and we couldn't simply toss it. Feeding it to the fish was a better send-off.

Good thing I haven't yet thought of a plot. 
Though, if needed, I could slap one together and toss it in. Plots aren't too difficult and I've come up with plenty on the fly, mainly for other people's fanfics, and they all tend to follow a basic pattern. I'm not coming up with anything new, I'm putting a different spin on some overused story premise and calling it new.
Once you learn the secret behind all great stories, you'll realize just how easy it is to come up with decent plots in no time. And you'll realize just how big of shams writers are. Not that it matters, we're all shams in some way.

This buffet lacks eel that the other buffet I go to has. It's a fair trade, I guess. Though, considering how much I love eel, I still crave it while at the eel-less buffet.

There's a Chinese buffet that I sometimes go to, and they have octopus, and they're these little whole octopi. I eat them fine, but I don't want to eat them while they're alive. Baby octopi are so darn cute...
On another note, my sister-in-law found a small crab inside one of the steamed mussels at that buffet. The crab was a female. She had eggs. An entire family was steamed inside of that mussel shell.

Yeung nodded, returning with a cup of water and two wet folded paper towels, which he placed on Mewtwo's chest and brow. "It just fainted, it will be fine." He looked to Mewtwo. "Stay with us, you'll be all right."
Mewtwo just stared blankly and went limp, only to come to a few moments later. He blinked a few times, then was out again. Or, he thought he had passed out, but he could still see. Everything had taken on a frosted appearance, and the others were moving in slow-motion, leaving afterimages and shadow trails. Though, he noticed something else. A light that coalesced into a young green-haired girl. Though his memories were still fuzzy and his concentration was faltering, he immediately recognized her. "...Amber?"
Amber smiled at him. "This is just a rough spot. Things will get better, though. You need to be strong for everyone, but don't lose control."
Mewtwo raised an eyebrow, confused. "What should I do...?"
"Watch out for the shadows," Amber nodded, "and don't lose control. Trust your friends. Things will get better." She smiled again as she started to fade away. "Things will get better."
"Wait, Amber! Come back!" Mewtwo snapped himself back to consciousness and he looked around.
Yeung nodded at him. "Welcome back," he handed him a cup of water, "drink this slowly. We're almost done, you'll be fine." He looked to the others. "After this, we'll get it something to eat. It can rest for a while, and then we can conduct the psych eval."
