Some of Amber's dialogue is a bit clunky, so it was tweaked.  There were a couple lines that made no sense, so they were changed.  They most likely made sense in Japanese, but, again, stuff was lost in translation.  I had the most trouble with a pun song based on the Japanese Pokemon names.  I kept it pretty much the same, aside from localizing the names, but it's so clunky that it may end up being revised later, or, if I have to, cut entirely and replaced with dialogue the conveys a similar meaning.  Just transitioning into the song was a pain.

Just a couple little nods to the anime.  Team Rocket's Japanese motto was incorporated into a few lines, so I altered those to reflect the English version.  Oh yes, someone is blasting off again.

Also, a Meowth clone got a cameo.  I had to add "that's right!" to its lines.

Episode two adapted.  Finally worked through a difficult part with this goofy pun song that loses half of the meaning in the translation.  I'll need to either tweak it, re-adapt it, or cut it entirely and replace it with dialogue that describes similar stuff.  This one will require some more revision when I type it up.

Finished adapting the first episode of The Birth of Mewtwo.  The script will go through a few more revisions when I type it up.  Need to decide on music and foley, first.  Also, decide on who will play who, see if Ringman's wife wants in on the action.

No, I'm not auditioning anyone else.  If his wife won't join in, fine.  Just Ringman and I, then.

And good god, this translation is so clunky...  Redundant wording, circular dialogue, the lines going off in other directions with no transition whatsoever...  I have my work cut out for me...

Starting on the translation adaptation.  Right in the beginning, Giovanni repeats himself with this wonky sentence structure that would result in acting so wooden that it'd give you splinters.  Cut the repeated bits, and reworded the entire redundant section for clarity and better flow.

I don't remember much of what I dreamt, but it included a roulette wheel in the square, where going down the right street was a random crap shoot, so it was taking forever to get home.  At some point, we went by a farm, where a farmer was going to shoot a calf because it was a runt, so we stopped to give the man a stern talking-to, and for some reason, I was dressed as a nun because I had come back from a Halloween party.  Well, we left, drove by a lake, and I complained that I wanted to get out of the stupid costume and go home, and there was a blizzard headed our way, and it was 3:30 in the morning and I was dressed as a nun.

What the hell, dream.
