It's possible through the power of BADASS.

Alonzo Cushing had shrapnel in his shoulder, his thumb was blown off while firing more artillery, and artillery fire blew up his abdomen, thighs, and blew off his balls.  And he still had the cannonballs to hold the line.

927
At Dedication Day, we learned of Lieutenant Colonel Alonzo Hereford Cushing, who was a major badass.

This guy held off Confederate forces on Cemetery Ridge like a boss.  He took cannon fire and was still standing.  He blew off part of his thumb to fire artillery and was still standing.  He stood for two hours after literally being blown to pieces, and it took a musket ball to the face to bring this guy down.

BADASS.

Never too early to start, if other Escher Girls are any indication! 8D

I see, keep him away from Jojo, he doesn't deserve to know about the awesomeness of it.

Indeed, considering he confessed to hating All Dogs Go to Heaven.  Even though his hate for it is recent.  Because LOLATHEIST

Or, you know... Drop a steamroller on him.

I've got another admin on TFN keeping an eye on him.  In the admin forum, there's discussion on a sexism policy, so I alerted the admin to Goodwood's behavior toward other people.

He's been spouting the "virtues" of thunderf00t, who is an [dark hold].

Okay in that case Quickie delivery this steam roller on top of Goodwood with this message.

No heaven for him! 8D

*Hemlock nodded slowly as his free will was stripped away.*

*Out in the main lab, seated on the floor and surrounded by tools, toys, parts, and plans; Prof. Hypno was utterly oblivious to any goings-on in the other lab.  Even the screeching was just background noise, which he attributed to the Malamar having some type of involuntary vocal tic.  So long as the Pokémon didn't make the noise around him, as he really didn't like it.  It filled his head and made him dizzy, and after his last seizure, he wanted to avoid another.*

*Prying the plastic covering off of the toy truck, he set to work designing a mock-up.  In order to finish the robot, he would need welding supplies, which he couldn't find.  At least he could find duct tape...*

931
All of them?  Including Jojo?

He hasn't watched Jojo, yet.  He was watching Madoka Magica and complaining about it being subtitled because he's a complete dubtard ("Why would you ever watch subtitled stuff?  You're not trying to learn the language, are you?  Subtitles take me out of the movie!  I want to watch a movie, not read it!").  But, MM is right up there with CB in terms of anime he talks about a lot.

932
Those are the same anime that Goodwood likes and talked about incessantly on TFN.  Well, save for NGE because LOLATHEIST.

And I like this new blankie that I got.  It's warm and nice.  It has skulls and crossbones and cost me $3.  Pirate blankie.

Come to Gettysburg and you can rent that outfit and go to one of our cupcake/ice cream parlours!

We have one right down the street from a rental shop!

You should eat that while dressed as the dapper top hat fellow.

935
I sometimes get random requests.  I generally decline or even block.  Sorry, loudjennifer26, but you've been blocked.

*Hypno looked over the monster truck.  It had a similar chassis to his old robot and the toy's all-terrain suspension and wheels would prove to be very useful.  Moving it around on the floor like a child with toys, he studied its construction closely.  Sitting back, he nodded.*

"This will work..."

*He then took the iPokemon and looked through its apps before finding the text-to-speech app.  Opening it, he looked over the interface and scrolled through the voice selections and settling on one with a British accent.  He didn't use it right away, as he would need to program it, and he preferred to use it for long-winded discussions.*

"This will work, too..."

*Back in the other lab, Hemlock's eyes were glazed over as he nodded slowly in complete obedience.*

"I will always respect Mr. P...  I will do anything for Mr. P...  I will do one of many things for Mr. P...  I am his slave..."

So, my dad has a kepi which he offered to let me borrow.  I have a Hypno cosplay.  I should combine the two.

Civil War Hypno.

Not doing the full wool uniform, though.  Ugh.

Have some pics from Dedication Day.

Gettysburg High School Ceremonial Brass Band

Color guard

Bugler

A general, but I don't remember who.

This dapper fellow.

Blargh, the sun was not kind to me today.  I couldn't get a decent pic of Jim Getty.  Got pics of other reenactors, though.

940
Time to shower and get dressed and I'm off to Dedication Day!

Maybe I should pose seductively on a cannon...

Oh, Serena... if you're going to boobs-and-butt, you need to twist your spine some more.  You need to show more than just part of an armpit boob.  How do you expect to become an Escher Girl with such poor contortion?

942
So, my old touchscreen gloves work.  I find this fascinating.  I've never used them on a touchscreen before.

So, since they use silver threads in the fabric, would my silver-thread boot socks work, too?

I SHOULD GO TEST THIS! :D

QuickEdit:  IT WORKS!  I can use a touchscreen while wearing military boot socks on my hands!

SCIENCE

I haven't decided what gender to play as.  I should play as a guy and give him a girl's name.

I will be a boy named Sue.

*Hemlock's eyes went wide, and then defocused as he fell under the hypnotic trance.*

*Back at the main lab, Hypno had managed to find some tools stashed around.  They were meager tools, as he was in a bio lab and he primarily worked with robotics.  At the very least, he could start taking his current project apart while looking through his old plans.*

*He removed the robot's CPU and set that aside to reprogram later, and he disconnected the electronics and began to pull the limbs apart.  On the floor in front of him were his schematics, and he was scribbling over old designs with new blueprints, this time incorporating a small vehicle chassis.*

*The animatronic's limbs were what he wanted to experiment with, as he wanted to build a helper robot with greater dexterity.  He considered further modifying it so that he could wear a glove and remotely control the robot's arms through that, with the glove fine-tuning his own movements.*

*All of this was going to take some time, and Hypno wasn't sure if Mr. P understood just how long it took him to build his first robot.  He needed to design it, build a mockup, fine-tune the mechanics, test everything separately, build a prototype, and then test that one.  A robot wasn't something that he could slap together in an afternoon, regardless of his disability.*

*Hypno wanted to build things to help others, and he was eager to work for Mr. P, as the man seemed to genuinely want to help other disabled Pokémon.  He just wasn't sure if Mr. P would have the patience to put up with his disability.*

*Hemlock cringed at the screeching.  He had seen a Malamar before, but not up close like this.*

"Just let me go!  I've done nothing to you!"

946
*Timidly raises hand*

I've at least done similar stupid stuff because I treat all items as Too Awesome to Use.  :-[

*In the main lab, Hypno explained what parts he needed in his halting, slurred, "thick tongue" speech.  After explaining that he required a small vehicle chassis from a radio-controlled car or similar, he then mentioned how Mulberry would let him use a text-to-speech app on his phone to facilitate easier communication.  Talking was difficult, and he was difficult to understand, so having an alternative was vital.*

*Hemlock's head lolled to one side as he forced open his eyes with a long, low groan.*

"What's going on...?  Where am I?"

948
"How Not to Play" seems as pointless as the "how not to draw" bits in some of my art books.  The don'ts are so glaringly obvious and stupid that it makes me facepalm.

OH REALLY, SO I SHOULDN'T CUT OFF HANDS AND FEET WITH PANEL BORDERS BECAUSE IT LOOKS STUPID AND IT MAKES IT LOOK LIKE I CAN'T DRAW HANDS AND FEET
