Off The Wall / Re: Post a Random Fact About Yourself

Here's a random fact.

I can't cook.  I'm dependent on recipes for a dish to turn out half decent.  Otherwise, I can't cook.  Who wants to teach me how to cook?

My dinner is now upsetting me.  I can't cook, and my latest culinary attempt was a disaster.  The broccoli was nasty, the noodles sogged to nothing, and the broth was bland as hell.

Well... I guess I could order a sub from Domino's.  Or eat ramen.  I have until 10, until I need to start fasting.

Could take the bland route and have chicken soup. 8D

My IBS has been flaring up lately, so I'm not surprised that it happened.  However, it sure as hell decided to take its sweet time.  Couldn't give me any clues when I was either in a store or near a gas station.  Of course not.  Middle of nowhere, it's either I jump out and sprint into the woods or I explode.

My dinner tonight will be rather bland.  I'd rather not anger the Gut Gods again.

I was in a car.  I had scheduled a trip into town to get a few things.

On the way home, my gut decided that it wanted to protest and have a colon clearance sales event.  Ended up pulling to the side of the road, a couple miles shy of a gas station, and ducking into a big patch of pine trees and poison ivy just to deal with it, and all I had at my disposal was pine needles and poison ivy because, dammit, I angered the gods somehow.

Well... New series, new special episode?  Who says that it needs to be a movie?  Just do a super-long episode and I'd be happy.

The bottle-opener hanger headphone band, while it was a bit odd, it didn't bother me quite as much.  I could've lived with it, as long as the damn tail stayed where it was--on the butt.  The feet and hands were... weird.

Well, I know that if I pick up the game, I'm getting X.

Which, in terms of chromosomes, is a bit backwards. :P

The biggest issue I had with the Y form was the head-tail.  It just... didn't... make... sense.

Though, this has made me wonder...

Does Classic Mewtwo get the X form?  Will we see it in all its badass awesomeness?

Just got home.  Got dinner started (slow-cooker, best to start early) and I'm watching Justice League with Mabel.  The local teenagers got off from school, and until the temperature cools down, I run the risk of the A/C kicking on during a recording session.  This evening would be an optimal time to record, and I could double my closet or bathroom as a studio if I need to cut down on noise.

Double-checking again:  Is there a certain inflection you want me to use?  Do you want a straight-up read, with standard diction, so it's obvious that I'm reading from a script?  Do you want the inflection to sound as if i'm recounting from memory?  Any specific style?  Loud and clear?  Soft and reserved?

Okay, the X form doesn't look too bad.

I like it.

I might actually...

draw...

it.

Heading out the door in about fifteen minutes.  Will record when I get back.

I'm not tense.  Tired, yes.  Planning to head to bed soon, yes.  Tense, no.

Building a d20 system isn't very easy.  It actually starts with a lot of talking it out to determine a basic system, then the actual building of the system, then the play-testing to ensure the system works.

However, I'm doing none of that tonight.  I'm getting an early bedtime tonight, got an early morning tomorrow.

I've been on a never-ending quest to become a licensed artist.  Been pimping the hell out of my portfolio, and it's been seen by more than a few people at Lucasfilm.

Though, what got me into their front door was Wookieepedia.

I'm still hanging around.  Joseph Collins is haunting the Fan Games forum.

This may take time to build a decent system and I may need to do a few test plays this weekend.  Or, I might just go search for a Pokemon d20 system.

Natures would be used, though I'm not sure to what extent.  I'll need to play around with this, devise a system... or just see if there's a d20 system already out there that I could nick.

(I'm considering an early bedtime, as I have an early morning tomorrow.  I'd hate to miss out on Bitchy Jenny's antics, if any.)

Giovanni nodded.  "Once they hear about how destructive it is, they'll be jumping at the chance to hand Mewtwo over."  He moved his dark gaze to Quickie. "That woman won't be receiving stolen property ever again.  Hell, she'll be lucky if she's not getting jail time.  Keeping such a destructive weapon like that."  He looked to Jenny.  "Should it come to it, we'll put plan B on the table."

Some of those may be eliminated for the sake of an easier RP system.  This would be Pokemon Lite, the d20 version.  Values would correspond to a d20, and since this is just battling, then that's really all that needs to be focused on.

A simple system would be to have values assigned to moves, and if a move is used against a weakness, then the defending Pokemon would need to roll against that weakness and determine how well they defended against that move.  So, basically, we'd need to write up simple character stat sheets, with basic Pokemon stats and values.  It could be a d6 system, but a d20 system might work better for all the variables we'd be dealing with.

FEAR MY GLOBE TROTTING COUGH

Hopefully it's a sign that your cough is finally on the mend.  Though, knowing coughs... they tend to hang around for weeks.
