Just wasting my time for a bit.  Have another early morning planned.  Trying to get in some more horror movies.

Hence the need for a sit-down to explain the repercussions.

However, I'm knocking off for a while.  Need to put the iPad up to charge and I'll be making coffee and playing Higurashi.

I was referring to any thread where the conversation devolves into naughty.  I generally try to be vague, but I have gotten caught up in the moment.

I admit that when the discussion gets a bit naughty, I do join in.  I try to limit it and disguise it in as g-rated terms possible, but I admit to getting caught up in the moment.  *coughsexybaritoneissexycough*

I may have skimmed over posts that have gone a bit too far, and that's out of habit.  Usually, I get the basic gist of a post from the first two and last two sentences and I skim the rest.

This is all warranting that sit-down more and more.  I'll take my time, though, with this, gather evidence, and approach it in the most businesslike and civil manner as I can.

I didn't even see the small text.  I hit that edit button posthaste in another tab and removed the offending images.  We have rules, my job is to uphold those rules.  That's exactly what I did.

Yes, and that may warrant a sit-down to explain why others are upset.  To have our big boss ignore our own rules strikes me as gross misconduct.  Like I said, it would be an Internal Affairs issue.  I'm hoping that we can just learn and move on, but I may still say something to Vixy to prevent this from happening again.

Really, if you have the power to edit the hell out of another's post, use that power.  You generally have a good reason to do so if the post displays something the crosses the line.  I went through and removed a number of things and I may go back and remove even more.  Not a second thought, either, using myself as a gauge for what's permissible.

I know you probably don't want to talk about it but which thread are you talking about?

Eicchi thread.  Check the latest posts for the full story.

Something that happened in a certain thread has made me wonder if I shouldn't gather all the appropriate people together for a sit-down.  I may still go back and remove some troublesome things from that thread, but I removed the really blatant ones not too long ago.  It had better not happen again, as that thread will be locked and the perpetrator dealt with.

I really don't want to end up playing the bad cop for what would amount to an Internal Affairs problem.  I'm hoping things will move on, but with the uneasy silence surrounding that thread, I'm not so sure.

I think I can figure out why, looking back. :P

Even I felt uncomfortable browsing, and I don't browse in public!

New subject:  I got a TV cart to use as shelves.  Yay!  And the severed head is scaring more people!

ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED

I got a little snappy with someone earlier, but it was because they called me while I was watching a movie with Ringman.  Even though they knew Ringman was over and I usually don't take calls.  Irked me somewhat.

Otherwise, I'm in a decent mood.  I'll be cleaning the litterbox here in a bit.

The severed head I hung outside scared a teenager.

In the meantime, I'm working on adapting the fourth episode.

It starts off with Amber's death.  O^O

Time to round out the night with some BtAS, and then go to bed.  Mabel's on the couch beside me.

All the more reason to rub on some balm.

I plan to call it an early night as I have an early morning.

Quickie turned around in her seat to see Meekins.  She raised her eyebrow, wondering how such a twitchy little man will react to a transformation using magic.  She craned her neck, looking over her shoulder at Mewtwo.

Mewtwo gave her a nod. "Remember what I said.  Try to avoid looking back here.  Remain focused on the matter at hand."

Quickie nodded and returned her gaze back to the front.  She leaned in to speak to Maya. "The warden took the muzzle off of him.  That's a good sign, I think.  So long as the judge or Payne don't freak out."

I liked Super 8 a lot!

Me too.  Though, the creature design is a bit uninspired.

For some reason, I have the case for The Forgotten, but the DVD is missing.  Watched Super 8 instead.  Watching Gremlins now.

(Bringing in someone with a Ditto...)

A bailiff entered the courtroom, followed by a staff member from the Pokemon Institute.  The staffperson walked up to the front of the room and turned around, holding up a Poke Ball. "May I present to the court a Ditto."  She turned and handed the Poke Ball to Payne.  Then, she found a seat in the front row and sat.
