I've played Pokemon World Online, which had elements from up to Gen 4, so I haven't been in a total vacuum.  Fan-made is better than nothing.

As for the Pokemon RP system, using all the elements from the game proved to be a bit too complicated to put together a decent dice-based system.  At that point, you're better off just playing an online battle simulator.  Now, Ringman and I have discussed simpler systems, one which would involve a program where you put in your stats and it calculates hits.  Another simpler system would be a variation on Wushu, and since we already have the system, that might be easier to work with.

As for Mega Evolutions, I could incorporate that into the system pretty easily, but they would be basically just a new set of stats after the player announces that their Pokemon Mega Evolved.

Medication is very much trial-and-error.  What works for one person may not work for another, some are more sensitive to side-effects (I often get the weirder and rarer side-effects), some develop tolerances, some medication isn't as effective on some people at the same or similar dosage as others (I metabolize sedatives really quickly and am resistant to them, so I usually need to be dosed double the amount), and other annoyances.  Basically, to find a combination or type that works best, it's best that you keep track of the side-effects and discuss them with the doctor.  Suggest trying alternative meds, various formulations.  There's a reason why we have so many different formulations of medication types; not everyone can take Prozac.

Ah, the medication song and dance...  Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.  It took years, but I'm finally on a combination that actually works for me.

Several years ago, not so much.  One medication interacted with another, and another caused side-effects that needed more medication to counteract...  I was taking a handful of pills each morning.

Then, I decided to stop taking the medication that was causing heart problems and necessitating the need for heart medication.  Three pills down, three to go.  Stopped taking the mood stabilizer because it was causing seizures.

Down to two pills, one in the morning and one at night.  I'm fine with that.

Working on it with random page editing.  If I come across something I'm not familiar with, I'll look it up.

My god, I've missed out on so much...  Twelve years since Johto, haven't touched the games til now.

My god.

My history mimics Mewtwo's own comeback. XD

Took a nice, long, hot shower.  Now, to eat something and then possibly crawl into bed and get some much-needed sleep.

Oh good god, no! XD  I'd have to type them up again, first.  They're quite terrible and I'd rather they be sealed in cement and dropped into a pit, never to see the light of day again.

Guess so.  Oh well.  I was just hoping for some RP action to tide me over until I go back home.

Instead, I found a folder of old fanfics I wrote back in high school, during the height of my Cringe Era.

TIME TO BUILD A BONFIRE AND BURN THOSE FICS

JUST LIKE SYLVEON'S BOWS ARE FLESH

All my Pokemon are named! XD

Well I've got good news and bad news. The good news is that I do have a Mewtwo that you can adopt. The bad news is, I just haven't caught him yet in SoulSilver!  8D

How do you plan to catch him?  Quick and easy?  Or long, drawn-out epic battle to whittle him down to next to no health and then chuck balls at his head for the next hour? 8D

I may give my Mewtwo a nickname or not.  If I do, it'd be Cherenkov, after the type of radiation that glows the same color blue as his powers.  Though, if I'm adopting a pre-owned, that one won't get a nickname, if it doesn't have one already.

I am so very tempted to give Mewtwo a room full of crazy, well a cell full of crazy in the Pokemon Institute.  Except it's not crazy stuff he's written--it's programming code for software that he wants to update but can't due to the police taking his computer.  But, of course, since he's only barely functionally literate, no one understands his programming language, so it just looks like a room full of crazy. :P

The Legendaries could be named after Civil War generals.

I should see if there are any Street Passes around here.  Probably not.

Dammit, Gettysburg needs more stuff.  Pokemon North/South: Civil War edition.  There is a MARKET for this!

I've seen Victini before, but I haven't gotten any event Pokemon.  I'd be lucky if my local Gamestop distributes any.

I may not even keep Torchic on my team, as I like to experiment.  So, I'll most likely end up with this weird, ineffective team.
