(Another theory is that when Ash was turned to stone in the first movie, it stopped him from aging.)

Dr. Wily II stood up, and began to make his way towards the prosecution table. Staring at the one named Ash Ketchum, a very distant memory popped in his head. Slightly clutching his head, he continued walking until he found a seat just behind Giovanni. Shaking his head, he leaned forward and asked.

"So... About the contract..."

Giovanni took a sip of his coffee and half-turned in his seat. "Once we get Mewtwo back, both of you will be on the first transport to Plum Island.  I can have a Chinook carry you both, they have one with the right containment facilities.  Four armed guards on Mewtwo, plus a five-point restraint system, and a device that will tone its power down considerably for the trip."

He took another sip of his coffee. "We can discuss your compensation after the trial.  Plum Island's developed some technology for me over the years, including some nice containment devices.  Had two that would not only contain and suppress Mewtwo's power, but break its will.  Force fields, various stun levels, energy-draining capabilities...  The machines were wonderful."  He thought for a moment. "Shame they were never used.  I have the invoice for them, they were built, tested, and shipped...  Wonder what happened to those..."

"Thank you for being here, Ash. Perhaps you could start by introducing yourself. You know, the basic details: name, occupation, age, etc."

(C'mon, I have to mention his age somehow! 8D)

Ash nodded. "Okay, my name is Ash Ketchum, I'm a Pokemon Trainer from Pallet Town, I've been training for about eight years, and I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was."

Oh, and Quickie, Mewtwo ain't gonna be that easy to catch. Trust me, I caught him earlier. He's (naturally) powerful.

I have Bug and Dark moves with his name on them.  And a False Swipe for good measure.  He apparently spams Barrier and Recover like no tomorrow, so he'll be a nice hit sponge for a while as I chuck balls at his head.

Ash gulped and stood, making his way to the stand.  He glanced at Mewtwo for a moment, then to Giovanni, then to Wily, then over his shoulder to Misty, who gave him a thumbs-up.  This wasn't going to be easy, as all he had on his side was the Mount Quena incident, though, as he glanced back at Domino, he had a feeling that she would readily corroborate his story with additional details if requested.

Sometimes, Team Rocket was actually useful, for a change.

I have a Quick Ball and a Luxury Ball earmarked for Mewtwo.  And a crate full of Poke Balls that he can tear through to his heart's content.

I think mine were given to me, so I'm saving them for special Pokemon who are pussies and Teleport. :P

I've mostly found Dusk Balls.

I used a Quick Ball on Abra.  Then, I named him Runaway.  Dumped him in the Day Care until he was at level 21, took him back and taught him Thundershock so he had at least one offensive move.  Can't wait to grind him up to workable levels.

I also can't wait for some wild Pokemon to make poor mid-level Runaway faint, and then I bring out Flamin' Yawn and [tornado fang]ing destroy that Pokemon in revenge.

I have Exp. Share.  I may double back, though, to grind Abra up to snuff.  Flamin' Yawn is at level 42, so I may stick Abra on the team, switch Pavorotti to the starting position, and go grind against some wilds.

(Yeah, that might be going too far.  Though, a bit of alcohol in Giovanni's never-ending coffee might help to lower his inhibitions.)

Giovanni took another sip of his coffee. "I can have a brand new lab ready for you.  I have multiple offsite research laboratories under my employ.  In fact, I have one in mind; a nice, secluded island.  The lab there performs military and medical research and would make tremendous use of Mewtwo and its clones.  And since it's also a subcontractor for the Department of Defense, then our security measures are far above the Pokemon Institute."  He sipped his coffee again. "They'd be able to contain Mewtwo.  Military-grade security and containment?  The Psychic Pokemon kept there already haven't posed any trouble."

At the Defense, Quickie bit her lip.  With Wily flipping out, the trial may sharply turn in Giovanni's favor.  Others needed to get on the stand.  She looked out at Misty and Ash, who were getting antsy.  The sooner they were on the stand and able to testify against Giovanni, the better.

I need to buy some TMs and teach my Abra some decent moves for training purposes.  At least the Day Care leveled it up for me, so it's not woefully behind everyone else.

Giovanni folded his arms. "I was being sarcastic.  I'd rather have Mewtwo in my possession, with Wily back on my payroll, if he wants to play with it."  He took a sip of his coffee. "If I don't just destroy that beast, first.  Though, all its clones..."  He slapped his hand on the table. "Dammit, I want to know how a Pokemon perfected cloning!  And so help me, I will find out how it made those clones, even if we have to rip it from its bleeding frontal lobe!"

Quickie swallowed and glanced back at Mewtwo, who looked ready to fly up to the stand and level the whole damn building and the surrounding block with the strongest Disable he could muster.  "Hang in there.  Don't do anything stupid.  We can with this afterward."

Giovanni leaned over to speak to Payne. "Damn.  Well, if Wily wants the beast, he can have it."

Mewtwo chewed on his bottom lip and gripped the back of the bench in front of him. "I cannot allow this to continue..."

"You can and you will," Kirby nodded, folding his arms. "If you do something now, you'll jeopardize the whole case."

You know of Nincada's unique evolution, right?

Yes.

And I caught a female Nidoran, and tried to name her Horny Newt, but it wouldn't let me.

I grabbed a couple extra Pokemon for trading purposes, and when I went to name my new Bunnelby, I found that you can't call it Playboy.

So, I named it Hugh Heffner. XD

The warden fumbled with the restraints and dropped them, as Mewtwo pulled his arms away. "Stop... struggling!"

The other warden leaned down to speak directly to Mewtwo. "Just let us do our job, okay?  If you'd go back to your seat willingly, we won't have to do this."

"Let him go!" Quickie snapped.  "He won't hurt anyone, and he has every reason to be concerned!"

"Ma'am, we can't do that," the warden looked up, and then returned his gaze to Mewtwo. "Look, the more you struggle, the more likely Lee will need to resort to alternate measures.  I really don't want him to have to do that, do you understand?"

"Kirby," Lee spoke up, still struggling, "you got some free hands.  Get me 5mg of carfentanyl."

Kirby shook his head, wanting to avoid using a tranquilizer.  He looked to Mewtwo again. "Just calm down and come back to your seat, okay?  It'd be better for your case if you do that.  The prosecution could use tranqing you as ammo, and your trainer could lose, understand?"

Mewtwo stared at him for a long moment, then looked to Wily, then to Quickie, then back to Kirby.  He let out a breath and relented. "Very well.  Though, the first chance that I have, I will correct this and seal Wily's alternate self away.  Permanently."

Kirby motioned for Lee to back down as Mewtwo stood and reluctantly went back to his seat.  The wardens followed and seated themselves.  Kirby smiled at him and patted him on the shoulder. "See?  Gotta show the court that you're a good boy."
