So... how many times will Trak have to tell Runaway to stop humping her leg? 8D

I have no complaint with N-Mario.  I have, however, history with VC.

That said, if the issue continues to be pressed, I will say something.  My patience has been worn thin.

On another note, tomorrow is my nephew's birthday!  He's difficult to shop for, and being an old cantankerous child of worn-out stereotypes and old-fashioned parental methods, I just couldn't break myself of ingrained purchasing habits and bought him a gender-neutral gift.

My nephew likes pink, pigs, and playing with dolls.  I couldn't find anything worthwhile of the former, and my upbringing wouldn't allow me to justify purchase of the latter.  That was mainly due to "what would my half-brother think of this?  Our encouraging of these interests?"

I have absolutely nothing against his interests and I encourage them.  But, I'm not his parent, and I need to be mindful of what kind of message I send.  Remaining gender-neutral is a viable option.

On that note, happy birthday, Dennis! :D

Perhaps Runaway reminds you of your old Alakazam?

I did mention that the fee isn't a big deal in the thread.  If the matter is pressed further, I'll become more blunt.  Right now, I'm just venting frustration.  Had a lousy week, dealing with circumstances from last month, still sick, this weekend's been frustrating, and it's just culminated, with others getting on my last nerve.

So, basically, I'm in a lousy mood, dealing with other stuff that's only just now getting resolved, and I'm taking it out here.

I apologize for that.

I have a change jar, which I need to eventually take to a Coinstar.  I can assure you that I have accumulated a considerable amount of cash in it over the course of the year, enough to pay for the annual fee and more.  If people are that damn worried, set up a change jar for the fee.  Drop your change in it every day.  I guarantee within a week, you'll have the fee paid off.

Three thousand, not thirty.  Misread.  My point still stands, though.

And the immediate bitching about the server upkeep fee.  That yearly fee that is five dollars.

News flash, VC:  YOUR CELLPHONE COSTS MORE THAN THAT AND IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT, FIVE DOLLARS A YEAR IS NOTHING!

Christ, people and their damned entitlement.  [tornado fang]ing put things into proper perspective and realize that what Nintendo asks for server upkeep is really not such a big [tornado fang]ing deal as everyone makes it out to be.  You people plunk in more money in the collection trays at Sunday worship per week than you will be doing per year to keep THREE THOUSAND Pokemon in YOUR OWN DAMN SERVER online.

And by "you people," I mean in general terms.  This isn't directed to anyone in particular.

I'd be happy to get a shiny, period.  I don't care of what.  I don't care if its IVs make it the most useless Pokemon ever.  I just want a shiny.

Ditto, and I haven't played since Johto.

@Mirby:  Exactly.  I am not made of money and this holiday season will be a bit tight.  My last couple bills were a bit overdue (not by much), but more to do with other circumstances rather than money.  I live on a fixed income, and I pay my rent, utilities, plus groceries and medical copays.  Compared to my MONTHLY budget, five dollars annually is nothing.

What the hell kind of lifestyle are people living when they cannot afford to set aside a single Lincoln per year?

Honestly, I don't see what the problem is to pay $5 a YEAR for server upkeep.  I bet many of you have memberships to various stores that require a yearly fee of about $25.  I have two memberships like that, one to Barnes & Noble, the other to Books-A-Million.  $5 a year for server upkeep and a place to store all my Pokemon is a drop in the bucket.

It's five dollars.  A year.

FIVE.  DOLLARS.  A. YEAR.

FIVE
DOLLARS
A

"You can only transfer from B2/W2?"

When the [tornado fang] did I say anything of the sort, aside from as an example?

Mabel wants me to go back to sleep. I want to oblige her and curl up with her.

I now understand Angry Joe's frustration.  Some of these questions are head-scratching in that they ask of things that have been in place and explained in previous generations.

You can transfer from Black and White, and B2/W2.

Read all about it here.

Trak is somewhat hinging on Wily, but she could feasibly show up with whomever Wily sent to get her and Runaway from the airport.

Yeah, that would work.

As for a Mega Vileplume, it was just an example.  Of course, there wouldn't be one, but as if those stunners would know. :P

Hm... I had a pure evil-yet-vague idea that just went through my mind.  My trainer character from Kalos, much like Mirby's character, is traveling the world for the sake of exploration, and she's bringing with her an Alakazam that can Mega Evolve.  Her aim was just to travel, but she's traveling under the sponsorship of someone from Hoenn who wants to see an example of Mega Evolution in a Pokemon other than the widely-published Lucario studies.

The evil part comes in here:  Would Wily be interested in being a behind-the-scenes sponsor in bringing Trak and Runaway from Kalos?

I'm relegating Quickie and Mewtwo to cameo and guest star appearances and have been thinking about possibly doing something with my trainer character.  I don't want to jump in too soon, but there's an idea.  Just need Wily's help in cooking up a decent way to introduce the character.

As for how Mega Evolution could work for Team Flora...  Find out how to Mega Evolve a Vileplume for super Stun Spore drug action?

That's mainly due to coding and that some previous-gen Pokemon will recieve new types when transferred over to X/Y.  Older games cannot access the Pokemon Bank, which will be a major factor in transferring from previous games, too.

Basically, I could transfer a Mr. Mine from White, but I can't send it back because it now has a Fairy subtype.  B/W also can't access the Bank; it wasn't encoded to do so.

In terms of transferring Pokemon, you can transfer to X/Y, but you can't transfer from X/Y.  So, if you have a perfect Pokemon from Black, you can bring it into X.  But, you can't take an X Pokemon and bring it into Black.

As far as I know, when I read the FAQs for the Pokemon Bank, you can't transfer X/Y Pokemon back to older games.

But if his sinuses are caked shut... How did he smell your scent!?

He blows his nose a lot, so he can smell sometimes, but he's snorting snot back into his throat all the time.  Hence the sound.  Mouth-breathing during battle because it's easier than snorting all the time.

I asked and he just made his clogged-up sinus snort sound.

No wonder he mouth-breathes; his sinuses are caked shut!

I want to sleep...  But, Ringman is up, so I'm staying up until he goes to the wedding he's going to, and then right back to bed I go.
