Trak perked up.  "Well...  Sudden, but I was planning to check out other regions.  I'm originally from Sinnoh, moved here a couple years ago with my mom.  Been meaning to travel and see what other Pokemon are out there..."  She looked over her shoulder and called into the kitchen.  "How's it going in there?"

"C'est bon!" came Runaway's reply. "Avez-vous faim?"

Trak looked to Payne. "Want some macoroni?"

My bulkiest coat is the Army trench coat I got at the Salvation Army.  It has a wool liner inside, but compared to most winter coats, it's still pretty sleek.

It's heavy as hell, though!

He gets Tough Claws in his Mega X form, so he's great for physical moves.  I have St. Elmo stocked with fire moves, mostly, except for Fly.

Trak shrugged. "Well, I was coming through the area, and the original owner told me his wife had recently passed, and he was looking for someone to loan him a Pokemon to keep him company.  I happened to have a Bidoof, so I left her here.  After I beat the Champion, I came back to visit, see how they were doing, and I found the Poke Ball on the floor and a note, saying he couldn't take care of Bidoof anymore and thanked me for letting her spend time with him.  I asked around and locals told me that he had died.  After going through the local court house, the estate lawyer said that the man left the house to me."

She shrugged again.  "Really, it came as a surprise.  I don't stay here often, usually on weekends, and it's mostly to maintain the place.  Runaway likes it, too."

You'd destroy the eighth gym with just Talonflame.  I melted the gym, the town, and burned down the surrounding woods with St. Elmo's fire.

Trak nodded and called into the kitchen. "Runaway, could you bring in a glass of water, please?"

"Oui oui!" After a moment, Runaway entered, carrying a glass of water, which he placed on the table.  He then looked to Trak. "La nourriture est prête, madame."

"It's just macaroni, you know how to drain it, right?"

"Oui," Runaway nodded.

"Do you want to finish cooking?" Trak offered. "If not, just turn off the stove and I'll get to it in a bit."

"Non, je le ferai," Runaway nodded and eagerly returned to the kitchen to finish cooking.

"Sorry about that," Trak finally took a seat. "You came right in the middle of dinner."

I have several hoodies.  Most are medium-weight hoodies for fall, I have two heavy ones for winter, and a couple light ones.  I intend to acquire more.  I love hoodies.

She might end up staying at Ringman's because he has the room.  Unfortunately, his wife doesn't work, so she'd have to deal with Mom all damn day, every day.  Mom also mentioned about having a friend up here whom she can crash with.  

From next week to after New Years, though?  She overstays her welcome within a week.

25% for a female Abra.  One chain breeding landed me three females in a row.  I have a better chance of breeding females than I do finding them.

Also the markings.  I don't understand what they're for.  When I earmark Pokemon of trade, I give them a diamond marking, and a star for if they're infected with Pokerus.  Since I don't know the proper use, I make up my own meaning.

As if that were a cue, the Alakazam returned, studied Payne for a moment, then pointed with a spoon. "Tu es chauve."

"That's not very nice to say!" Trak scolded him. "Apologize for being rude."

Runaway hung his head. "Je suis désolé..."

"Thank you," Trak pet him on the head. "Could you excuse us, please, and keep watch on the stove?  If it boils over, let me know, alright?"

The Alakazam nodded and was on his way.

Trak turned back to Payne. "Sorry about that.  Runaway can be very blunt sometimes."

My mom is flying up from Florida in two days.  I find out about this today, and she'll be flying out to Baltimore where my brother can pick her up.  I doubt he knows about it.

She plans to stay here until after New Years.

I am amazed that Chris doesn't seem to understand how probability works considering that he went to college to design video games.  I mean RNGs is the basis of making RPGs.

Yeah, that's what nailed it for me.  Then again, such things like probability might not even be taught in that major, as it could focus on mainly the design aspect, such character and stage design, interface design, any HUD designs...  

When I took multimedia courses, it focused on stuff that I could have learned in any art course.  Did I learn how to set up a three-point lighting rig, learn how to use my camera and properly direct a scene?  Nope!  Just learned motion graphics... which I already knew about.

Sometimes, those specialty courses are a big waste of time.  You want to get into the nitty-gritty aspects of designing a game?  Take a computer science course and learn hardcore programming.
