Snow's a-coming.  I can smell it in the air.

"We've also been working on toning his muscles so that they're not so weak," Trak nodded. "He can barely curl eight pounds, but it's still a significant amount compared to most Alakazams.  At least he can hold his own head up without having to use his powers to do so."

Runaway was too focused on finishing his cereal to respond.  He set his spoon down and picked up the bowl with both hands, tipping it and his head back to drink the remaining milk.

Trak nodded and rubbed Runaway's head. "You're just a bundle of mysteries."

Runaway smiled, relishing the head rub. "Oui oui!"

"It was unexpected, for sure," Trak nodded, "I ended up getting a crash course in broken French just to understand him.  Sycamore helped with that, as he speaks French fluently.  We dropped by often for pointers, and he gave me a pocket translator for when I get stuck."

Trak nodded. "As for your prior relationship with Joe, it's in the past and the past shouldn't become a problem in the present."

"L'eau sous le pont," Runaway took another bite of cereal. Water under the bridge.

"Exactly," Trak nodded.  She took another bite and glanced from Runaway to Sakura. "About the French... he's been speaking it ever since I caught him.  Professor Sycamore isn't sure exactly when or how he picked it up, but he thinks that Runaway may have picked up a tourist's language book and memorized it.  His syntax pretty much points to that."

Trak smiled. "French isn't my strong suit, either.  He was just inviting you over to sit with us if you'd like."

I need to Friend Safari and find shinies.  Got my Hawluchas in the daycare for Masuda Method shiny breeding.  One of them is Korean.

As for buying trench coats, I'm waiting until I'm over $600,000 until I buy the black trench coat.  That's the only one I want.  Until then, it's back to hotel work and grinding.  I prefer the battle Chateau, as I don't have to pay an entrance fee for my free money.  And I can fight Wulfric on occasion.

Trak munched on a sandwich, while Runaway had a bowl of cereal, which he ate using one of his spoons.  She looked around, seeing Sakura eating alone at one table with her Pokemon, the Zekrom being the unfamiliar of the two.

Runaway took a few more bites, then looked over to Sakura's table.  He must have picked up on the relationship, however tenuous, between Sakura and Joe, as the Alakazam rapped his spoon against the side of his bowl a few times, trying to get the other table's attention.  "Hé! Venez vous asseoir avec nous!" Hey!  Come sit with us!

Trak took notice and tried to get Runaway to mind his own business. "If they don't want to, they don't have to." She glanced over to Sakura's table with a sheepish grin. "Runaway's just excited to be in a new region.  He's very friendly." There was some additional emphasis on "very."

As if to prove a point, Runaway motioned for Trak to lean in closer, which she did.  Immediately, he gave her a kiss on the nose.  "Je t'aime, Madame." He smiled.

Trak smiled too, giving the Alakazam a hug. "Awww, I love you too."

Do more stuff in Lumiose to knock down the price.  I got it down to $70,000, but I'm holding off until I get it lower than that.  Ride the cabs, take the Gogoat shuttle, get your Furfrou styled, work in the Hotel, go have Alexa give you directions...  The more you improve your style, the lower the price will go.

Honestly, $10,000 isn't a lot.  Particularly with the surplus of money you get if you grind in the Battle Chateau and other battles.  I have nearing $600,000 currently.

Anyway.....

Has anyone counted the number of times you're supposed to encounter the legendary birds? Trying to see if mine retreats to the cave. It keeps retreating to other routs. I try to stay in one or two areas that are fast for me to skate, or run to. I think I'm up to its 5th or 6th encounter at this point. Is it 10, or 15 encounters? or does it depend on the type of bird and its current location?

Is it based on a system where if I make too many mistakes, I have to start back at encountered it 0 times? I just don't want to feel like I'm encountering it too many times, only to find out it'll never escape to the island.

Ten times, if I recall.  I think I'm on my... seventh?  I haven't been keeping track.  Sometimes, I find Zapdos hiding out in the same damn field a few times in a row.

If you're unsure, just make repeated trips to the island cave and check.

As for the Master Ball... Force of habit.

"Oh, hi Mewtwo."

*throws Master Ball*

"...We really need to stop meeting like this."

Seeing afterimages of concentric circles, feeling dizzy, and with a headache... yeah, not playing that again.  My curiosity was satisfied.

"Huh," Trak seemed surprised.  "Well, then you can save that money for something at the Pokemart, then." Smiling, she rubbed Runaway's head.

Runaway grabbed Trak's hand excitedly and pulled her to the door. "Allons-y!" Let's go!

"The food's not going anywhere, I don't think," Trak followed Runaway and managed to gain the lead as they both headed for the cafeteria.

In certain areas--such as the Chamber of Emptiness, or behind the Abomasnow in the Frost Cavern--will have a little sparkly thing where there's a Mega Stone.  If you try to walk over this tile, it will block you, much like an item will.

Also, if you're not noticing anything during 8-9pm real time (20-21:00 hrs in-game time), your game's clock may not be set right, like mine.  8-9pm in-game is 7-8am real time for me.

Weather report is calling for snow later this week.

Scratch that.  Now it's saying rain.

Now I'm upset. :(

"Much better," Trak put Runaway's spoons away as he dug through her bag for his usual pair. "We may as well get something to eat..." she trailed off as she poured the contents of the tip cup on the desk and counted the change. "...Hm.  Got five dollars and about... twenty-five... six... seven... eight, nine... thirty-two cents."

Runaway beamed. "Je peux acheter le petit déjeuner!" I can buy breakfast!

Trak looked to the Alakazam. "You want to buy breakfast?"

"Oui," Runaway nodded.

"Okay, you can buy breakfast, then," Trak scooped up the money and handed it to Runaway, who put it in his pocket.  She looked to Joe. "He has a limited concept of money.  Smart little guy, but needs help with purchasing things, basically pointing out prices so he can tally them up."

Maybe he and Cagliostro can produce a nice Bold Synchronize Abra who hates to lose...

Trak glanced over. "No, just keeping him out of trouble.  I don't know the regulations on street performing around here, and in Kalos, it's pretty popular.  Runaway and I would head down to the station in Lumiose and perform during weekends.  He's way more talented than I am, I just do guitar accompaniment."

Well, I plan to have Runaway spend time with Cagliostro.  I'm not really concerned with getting more Synchronize Abras as I am just breeding Runaway's stats.

Flamin' Yawn is the only one not at lvl 100 of the original team, prior to Mewtwo joining (who took Ariados's spot after she leveled during the Elite Four).  He's at 99, whereas Mewtwo is hovering around 97.

Gandalf evolved, so I have two Synchronize Kadabras.
