Trak groaned and rolled her eyes.

Okay, guys, just a heads-up.

I went and looked for a forum mod to help detect and restrict spiders.  The server timeouts and such are due to an influx of spiders, which plague many simplemachines forums. 

I passed the mod to Vixy, along with the discussion topic regarding the mod itself.  I'm not sure when it will be installed, but if you guys notice anything weird after the installation, please let us know.  Hell, make a topic in the General section. 

What the mod will do, as I said, is allow the forum to detect and possibly restrict spiders.  Currently, the forum only detects certain bots, so the rest are registered as Guests, and we have issues.  If the spiders are detected, then we'll have the option of restricting them, most likely through a disallow list (I haven't seen the forum's innards, so this is guesswork based on the limited vBulletin innards I've seen before).

What this means is that the forum itself may not show up in search engines as often.  But, honestly, to keep bots away, that's a small price to pay.  Plus, major spiders, such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN, will still stop by.  They're not restricted at the moment.

"Susan!  Now!" Trak yelled.

Susan nodded, jumped out from behind Mewtwo, and fired Wily's most-hated move: Dazzling Gleam!

Mewtwo stumbled backwards, shielding his eyes. "Damn!  I'll be seeing spots for a week!"

"Quit complaining and get over here and help me!" Trak motioned for him to join her. "I'll need some cover.  I don't want Wily rounding on me while I get Runaway back."

To quote my brother's wife:

People think they can get away with ban-evasion.

Also, we're irresistible.

"Gotcha," Mewtwo gave a curt nod and resumed attacking. "Better call Phoenix Wright, because I am bringin' the PAIN!"  He took aim at Mega Gengar and launched a Psystrike.

Between Return-slapping whatever needed slapped, Mewtwo looked to Sakura.  "Hey!  When you want me to use Disable?  I'll need a minute to get back into the habit, haven't used it in a while."

Meanwhile, Trak was looking through the carnage until she spotted a burst of light from the far end of the room, along with a very brief glimpse of a spoon. "...There he is!  He's over there!  Cover me, I'm going in!"

So, I'm looking at a user to approve, and judging by the hostname and the e-mail, I think our old friend MrKhan is back a third time.  I did a search to find the matching hostnames, so I'm pretty darn sure that this is his second sock and attempt at ban-evasion.

I pose a question to you all...

Should I let him in and we see if he changed?

I'm terrible at math.  Yet, I savanted my way through my last two math classes.

If you mean tutoring others, then yeah, it usually helps a lot.  If you mean getting tutored, then it should help.

Though, if you're anything like me, once the clock starts ticking, you'll savant your way through and have no memory of the test afterward.

Mewtwo cracked his knuckles. "Prepare to register an 'awesome' on the Richter Scale, because once I let this Earthquake go, the place will be rockin'!"

Trak couldn't help but grin at the corny pun. "Just avoid hitting Runaway if he's there.  Enough power to knock Wily and his Pokemon off their feet, then give them a wicked Return."

(Is this Mewtwo able to Mega Evolve?)

(Not until the plot demands.  Might be more fun to get them both in the same room, have them both Mega Evolve, and both use Disable.)
