"So, let me get this straight," Mewtwo put his soda down on the table, "my twin escaped?  And he's all uptight about it?  Because they used steroids on him?  Big deal!  I have a magnet bolted to my skull!  You don't see me getting all angsty over it!"

"Settle down, you can hash that out with him when you meet him," Trak patted his shoulder. "You want to go back into your ball and get some sleep?  You're getting antsy, I think you're tired."

"Actually, yeah, let's do that."

Trak nodded, pulled put the Master ball, and recalled Mewtwo.  Putting it back in her bag, she sat back in her seat, her other arm around Runaway, who had settled down for a quick nap. "Sorry about that, he can get a bit excited..."

"Wish I thought of doing that," Mewtwo said ruefully, taking another drink of soda.

Trak reached up and took the paperclip off his head. "This one was made by Team Flare, and they dumped him near the Pokemon Village after a couple years.  When I first caught him, he wasn't very friendly, but we changed that, didn't we?"

"Soothe bells are awesome," Mewtwo nodded. "And that nice lady in Cyllage who gives those great massages!"

"Steroids?  That was it?" Mewtwo snorted. "Well, I think I win in this contest.  Can he do this?" Grabbing another of Looker's loose paperclips, he slapped it against the top of his head, and it stuck.

Trak grimaced, just imagining how well that would go over with the more uptight Mewtwo.

"Sounds like a plan," Trak nodded. "If that Mewtwo is willing to work with Runaway, all the more better.  I'm not real keen on him altering powders again, right away.  I mean, if he wants to, that's his choice, but I'd rather he get some rest first."

"Attitude problem?" Mewtwo took a swig of his soda. "Sounds like cloning blues.  Also sounds like someone needs a nice, big hug."

"You two could trade creation stories," Trak teased.

Mewtwo perked up. "Can I meet my twin?"

"Maybe," Trak patted him on the shoulder. "Just don't go sticking magnets and metal bits to your head, it might creep him out, if his history is anything like yours."

"Bah, can't have any fun," Mewtwo again made a mock pout, and then dug through Trak's bag for one of the sodas he stashed in there.

Runaway again reiterated that if the lab facilities are available, that he could try altering the powders again.

"The sample is indeed taken in as evidence, and we are trying to decode it as well. We have the best people working on this, but it will still take some time. Including that shoe print. Now that was a doozy! As for Lilycove... To be honest, I do not know how deep this doctor has in Lilycove... However, there is a certain someone that could help!"

"Shoe print?" Trak raised an eyebrow.

(OH GOD, NEVER AGAIN QUOTING WITHOUT CHANGING THE COLOR, MY EYES THEY BURN)

"Wait," Trak spoke up. "I know that Lilycove is doing something similar with Lumiose.  They're working on modifying powders to have medicinal properties, and they're doing this for a grant.  What about getting them involved?  Do you know anyone at Lilycove U. that might be working on this?"

Runaway nodded and explained how Wily forced him to alter the chemical composition of various powders.  He explained that he was ordered to do so under vague threats of harm to his Trainer, and at first believing that such threats wouldn't be carried out, he intentionally destroyed one sample.  Once Wily had shown proof that he could find and even harm Trak, via a disguised Zoroark, Runaway obeyed and altered a large sample of powder--enough to affect all of Rustboro--to have mind-control properties.

The Alakazam explained that after he had done so, Wily tested the altered powder, and was able to coerce an Oddish into eating its own leaves.

(I really didn't feel like dropping that into Google. )

(Not much.  Hanging out at the Pokemon Center.  Looker's dropped by, Kalos Mewtwo is being his weird self, Runaway's got lots of evidence, and now Sakura, Taylor, and Trak are meeting with Looker.  We need someone to be Looker.  Basically, he's questioning everyone (including Runaway, have fun with that!) on what had happened.  Ton of evidence to use, mostly from Runaway.)

When dealing with something like this, you want to do damage control while maintaining a relatively unbiased viewpoint, but still acting in the best interest of the company.  Address consumer concerns, acknowledge detractors, and attempt to provide a temporary solution, while stating that a more permanent solution is being discussed, and that you'll pass on their comments and suggestions in hopes of resolving the problem as smoothly, efficiently, and quickly as possible.

With Wookieepedia's reputation based heavily on some toxic admins, I end up doing a lot of damage control when representing the wiki at a public event.  We won't be able to dethrone some of our problem admins, but I can at least save face by showing others the helpful side of Wookieepedia.  I'm basically the PR rep.

Right now, the best thing that they could do to solve this situation is to close down and delete the forums, and open new ones with better software.  They're young enough that they can get away with sweeping it all under the rug.  The sooner the problem is dealt with, the quicker they can work on cleaning up their image.  Just need to take Ol Yeller out behind the woodshed, first.

Good god.  And I thought my final MMC days were a shitstorm of drama?  HAH!  This is just absolutely pathetic.

I have to agree with Dickman.  Close the damn forum.  It's terribly formatted and run by an obnoxious drama queen with no sense of proper business practice.

With how much drama is coming in before the game even sees any bit of production and play-testing, I'll be surprised if it even gets off the ground at all.

Mewtwo grabbed a loose paperclip from the table, stuck it to his own head, took it off, and tried to stick it to Runaway's head without success. "You're fine.  No worries there."

Runaway responded with a playful swat. "Arrête ça!" Stop it!

"Twoey, now's not the time," Trak admonished.  She pulled up a chair, sat, and took the Foongus toy out of her bag, giving it to Runaway.  Motioning for Mewtwo to also take a seat, she finally looked to Looker. "I'm sorry, I hope I didn't interrupt.  I'm Runaway's trainer."

"Oh," Trak nodded and headed inside, seeing Runaway seated at a table.  The Alakazam was disheveled and tired, but perked up immediately upon seeing Trak enter.

"Madamme!"

Trak rushed over and wrapped Runaway up in a careful hug. "Oh my god, I was so worried about you!  Are you okay?"

Runaway happily returned the hug. "Oui!  Je suis très bien. C'est bon de vous revoir!" He sniffed and tried to explain himself quickly. "Je ne voulais pas aller avec lui, mais il a dit qu'il allait te faire du mal si je n'ai pas fait ce qu'il demandait! Je n'avais pas le choix!" Yes!  I'm fine.  It's good to see you!  I didn't want to go with him, but he said he would hurt you if I didn't do what he asked!  I had no choice!

"It's okay," Trak hugged him again. "I'm just glad you're okay."

Mewtwo patted Runaway's shoulder, smiling. "Good to see you're in one piece, little buddy."

Mewtwo started to follow, but stopped to gather the untouched snacks he got from the vending machine.  Catching up to Trak, he grabbed her bag. "Sorry, just dumping these in..." After depositing the snacks, he glanced up. "Hey, you know how there's apparently another me somewhere?  I hope I'm not confusing anyone, I'd hate to hurt his rep, so if you want, I'll go back in my ball, no problem."
