That would be decent downtime.

Actually that's the best time to take it down. Obviously there'd be a lot of traffic during the afternoon and evening, so they're minimizing traffic by shutting it down during those hours so it's easier to fix everything.

Exactly.  Usually, maintenance is performed during non-peak hours.  But since peak hours are the problem, eliminating them eliminates the problem and allows for more time to devise a more permanent solution.

Perhaps we need berry farms and trips to the daycare.  It's most likely due to that we're modeling our playing style after the games, and what do you usually do during downtime in the games?  Breed?  Grind?  Create X-Berries?  Go shopping?  Hatch eggs?

In the anime, there was rarely ever any downtime that I can remember.  Downtime was at the very beginning and very end of each episode and usually involved coming into the plot and then leaving it, so no real examples there.  In the manga, again, it was coming into the plot and leaving it.  Anything else was taken up by grinding, introspection, walks full of monologues, and cuts to other characters who were dealing with their own subplots.  Again, no examples of downtime there.

May as well send everyone to Verdanturf awhile, as what I can gather, he might be handling things on his end.  Their paths will cross eventually, through the magic of plot contrivance convenience.

I can wait for as long as needed, seeing as I have no prior Pokemon that I need transferred.  It just means I can't yet chain-breed for a Shiny without doing it in short spurts and dumping extras into Wonder Trade.

I think a time-skip is in order for the Pokemon RP.  It's stalled again.

Basically, when things wind down between events, usually a time-skip is needed, else everyone is stuck trying to figure out what to do with downtime.  Downtime, I've noticed, isn't handled very well here, in free-play and in DMed campaigns.  We all work better with a driving narrative.

As for your name...

MechaGarurumon Key Mode sounds good.  It's simple.

Hm.  Things are stalled in the Pokemon RP.  I think it's time for another time skip and everyone to teleport to the next plot device.

Might be for the best, actually, just to get things running smoothly again.  Also, as with other online features, it prevents people from being online all friggin' day.

Anti-poopsocking, as you'd call it.

As I have no prior games, I'm just after the storage space.  Opening the bank just after Christmas was in general a really bad idea.  You have a rush of new trainers just after the holidays.  If they opened it shortly after New Years, they might've had less of a problem.

I hatched an Adamant Gooey Goomy earlier.  His name is Skooshy.

I want to set Runaway up to stud.  What Pokemon would be good mates?  Got "Freak Me" already in the Love Shack playlist to send with him to the daycare. 8D

Time to read more Lovecraft!  I just finished The Colour [sic] Out of Space.  It was a good one, very weird.  The Dunwich Horror is still one of my favorites, though.

Runaway got Puffs and pets for doing a good job.  Cagliostro also got Puffs and pets for passing on her Ability.  I may breed those two some more, or just have Runaway do stud service with other Pokemon.

Folgers is yuck.  I've had store-brand coffee that tasted better.

And yeah, back in the 90s, cartoons were full of innuendo.

"Dust for prints!"

"I found Prince!"

"No, no, finger prints!"

"...I don't think so."

I have sone leftover homemade pickles from yesterday.

They taste like they've been soaking in the saltiest brine for years.

Delicious!

Just feeling a bit lonely.  I like my solitude, particularly after dealing with my family, but sometimes it still gets to me.

And in terms of washing out in the military, it's not uncommon.  Lots of people wash out.  At least you tried.

I've been considering joining the Marines, as a lot of my relatives on my mom's side are or were in the military, and I feel I should give something back.  But, I'm almost 33.  Bit too old to join.

Have you tried ignoring her entirely and saying nothing but what she wants to hear, like "I'll go do [chore]?" and all around pretending that she is merely a piece of furniture?

Or, just confront her and tell her to knock it the [tornado fang] off because she's creating a toxic environment.  And on the day you do move out, you'll cut her out from your life entirely and she will be forgotten.

And the last two games you played will fuse into one game.

Trauma Center: New Blood

My niece got one of those rubber band looms for Christmas, and a whole bunch of little loops.  I've made five bracelets so far, and I can make them using crochet hooks.

OH GOD WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME D:

I should get more loops and make bracelets for everyone! 8D

Too bad you're not seeing a therapist.  They could help you confront your mom.

Hope you wore gloves when you checked the back end.

I may call it an early night tonight.  I'm wore out.

Just got back from some relatives.  The remainder of my Christmas haul was an 8GB jumpdrive.
