I'm upset that my Abra hunt isn't going as well as I'd like it to.  Runaway, go spread your musk and attract some Abras!

*Runaway starts dragging his butt through the grass.*

If I had kids, I'd only have one.  Or, if I have two, they can't be close in age.

They plot.  -_-

I don't even know what it's trying to censor!  Same with when i tried to name an Abra "Criss Angel."  I can name an Abra "Uri Gellar" without a problem, and Uri had the beef with Pokemon, so I don't get the Criss Angel censorship.  Are they trying to censor "ss"?  I named a Nincada "Tuffass" without an issue and have another named "Zuckuss."  What's wrong with "Shazam"?

Caught five Abras so far, they're more frequent now that I have Runaway doing all the battling.  Guess they're attracted to his scent.

And I can't name any of them Shazam?  I call shenanigans!

I traded with some random person and they offered up a Charmeleon, so I gave them one of my Kadabras (I can raise many, many more), so thus, Gandalf evolved.  So, they tried to trade him back.

You keep Gandalf, random person.  I intended to trade for keeps.

Too bad there's no decent chat, so I couldn't tell them that.  Instead I canceled the trade and disconnected.  That should hopefully say "Keep him."

Unfortunately I don't have many Ralts to trade.  Got a Japanese Ralts I intend to breed for a shiny.

I'll take them for Lottery sake.  What do you want for them?  I have lots of Abras.

Sweet.  Easy to get used to?

And I'm thinking of pulling out some canvas and painting again.  My palette went through the dishwasher, so it's good to go.

I'm a casual battler.  My goal is to just raise a nice variety of Pokemon, so I can have a variety of teams to play with.  Some members will remain largely static, floating from team to team (Runaway is one of those, with Mewtwo around for cleanup, though he's slated to be booted off soon), while the lineup changes as I raise new members.  I plan to start raising some Water types, once my current lineup is leveled, and I may boot Mewtwo off the team just to make room for a new benchwarmer.

So, if anyone does catch me online and want to battle, my current lineup does have Mewtwo on it.  His moveset is weird.  He's there for crowd control and general cleanup duties while benchwarmers level.  I also have a few slaves.  It's not a competitive team; it's a utilitarian team.  Hence why half the team are slaves.

Which is why Runaway, with his hindering Nature, will always be on my team.

...which is currently carrying two slaves, two trainees, and Mewtwo for cleanup duties.

I still have that damn headache.  I think I will chase it away with a shot of caffeine!

...or not, after a look at the clock.  I'll just get more Ovaltine.  Or eat something.  Perhaps eating something.

After having finally fallen asleep, it was Runaway's turn to dream.  The dream started off with him wandering the empty halls of some nondescript building, but with a sense of urgency, as if someone or something were following him.  But, he was alone.

Runaway ducked into a room, closing the door.  He turned off all the lights and pressed his back against the door, listening.  He could hear footsteps, so he carefully peered out of the small window, seeing a tall, dark, and gaunt figure walking silently up the hallway.  The figure looked like some bizarre human/Zoroark hybrid, and walked with a stooped gait.  A large, beaklike nose jut from the center of the pale, goatish face, and thick black stubble covered the chinless countenance.  The eyes, when they could be seen behind the stringy black hair, were piercing, and they locked onto the door.

Runaway backed up quickly and fled into the darkness, finding another door, which he quickly entered.  He shut it, pressed himself against it, but was flung to the floor.  The Zoroark-man scooped the Alakazam off the floor, holding him tight, as a bright cone of light snapped on, revealing some type of chair.  Swiftly, Runaway was forced into it and strapped down.  The Zoroark-man held his head still, and he could hear footsteps as another figure approached.  The face was shrouded in darkness, but the new arrival brandished what looked to be a type of saw, and chilling laughter pealed through the air as Runaway squinched his eyes shut.

He woke with a start, finding himself still in the Pokemon Center.  His nose was still clogged and his heart was pounding against his ribs.  He let out a whimper and snuggled up closer to Trak, unsure if he wants to sleep again.

Every time I'm challenged to battle, I'm usually already in a battle, either a wild encounter or general grinding.  People have lousy timing.

Debating on what Runaway will dream about.  Do I go pseudo-Lovecraft, like I did with the Wilbur Whateley (Slendoroark) stand-in?  Or do I go straight-up mindfuck and just have him wet himself?

I have Mabel on the couch beside me as we listen to the wind howl outside.  It's a cold night and the perfect night to curl up with a warm cat.
