Trak stroked Runaway's head. "What did you see in there?"

The Alakazam didn't respond, still working on separating the Zoroark's memories from reality.  The psychic scan was too successful, as not only was he able to remove the barrier and unlock its memories, but experience everything from the Pokemon Village to the undisclosed lab.  The more the memories replayed, the more details he saw.  After a very long moment, he croaked out one word: "Flare."

Epoxy (such as Mighty Putty) would work pretty well for that.

As far as my figures, I just gave them a good dusting.  Most of my stuff are statues and busts, with Mewtwo being my only current figure.  Just gave him a new pose and that stubborn shoulder isn't as stubborn as it used to be.  Rotating it helped, as it's now at the same tightness as the other shoulder.

Have yet to pose him with the Shadow Prune, though I may give him a lightsaber again.

Right now he posed like "come with me if you want to live."

I have some cheap-brand superglue and it works fine.  Krazy Glue, if you want to go with a brand, but really, any will do.  Just be careful about excess glue squeezing out, so only put enough on the piece to hold it together.  Else, a cotton swab and a bit of nail polish remover will take off the excess, but be really, really careful, because it will take off paint.

As for stubborn shoulder joints, if the figure is in a warm room, try rotating the joint to work it loose.  Regular wear and tear will loosen joints nicely.  My D-Arts Mewtwo has a stubborn shoulder joint, and the most I've done was warm it with my hands and rotate it slowly to work it into position, followed by rotating the joint to loosen it.  Make sure to hold the joint itself, don't rotate below the bicep swivel.  Holding the joint will also help warm it.

Cold makes plastic brittle.  Warming plastic makes it soft, so if you want to get figures to hold things or move stubborn joints, it's suggested to warm the plastic to soften it.  Hair dryers work well for that, as does dipping the joint or piece in hot (near-boiling) water.

To fix the piece, I suggest superglue.  Quick and easy, as epoxy can be really tricky to use, and smelly.

Trak nodded. "Just to be on the safe side, yeah.  Considering he wasn't really firing on all cylinders to begin with."

"What a long, strange trip it's been," Twoey mused.

Susan, meanwhile, yawned.

Twoey shrugged. "I didn't see all of it, I was too busy trying to find Runaway.  A mind meld itself wouldn't cause the freakouts, as that's just allowing one brain to connect to another.  From what I saw, though, that Zoroark's mind was messed with.  More like mind-control and a psychic barrier."

Runaway had regained enough of his senses to nod slowly. "Oui... Barrière..." Yes... A barrier...

"Shh," Trak soothed, "rest, don't stress yourself." With one hand, she wiped his bloody nose with a tissue.

Last I checked, my head is still intact.  Though Mabel firmly believes that sneezing is the noise made by cranial detonation.

Or, rather, sinus detonation.

Trak nodded. "Yeah, he's going to need some time to recover before he can tell us what happened."  She rubbed the Alakazam's head and looked to her bag. "Get a Moomoo Milk out of my bag, would you, Twoey?"

Twoey nodded and fished out a bottle, opening it and getting Runaway to drink. "The thing about mind melds like that, it can really mess up your perception.  You experience their memories like they're your own reality.  I can't do them as well as Runaway can, mainly due to my hardware."

Disability discrimination is wrong.

On another note, every time I sneeze, Mabel looks at me like my head exploded.

"Little guy was lost in there," Twoey explained. "Took me a bit to track him down, everything was spilling in like someone opened the floodgates.  I didn't see all of it, but that Zoroark... he went through hell."

Runaway didn't respond, still disoriented and trying to get his bearings.  Plus his own vast archive of memories--and a few of Twoey's--he had the Zoroark's trauma to sort through.

That was something that Runaway wanted to study closer, that gap of missing time.  But, as he watched, he felt his connection fade, slowly.  Within moments, Twoey was standing right in the same room as it faded around him.

"Hey, buddy, let's go," he extended his hand to the Alakazam.

Runaway took Twoey's hand and was yanked out of the psychic connection.  It took him a few minutes to be brought out of his trance as the Pokecenter room slowly faded in around him.  The Zoroark was directly in front of him, Twoey to one side of him, Susan standing guard on the other side, and he had collapsed into Trak's arms from sheer strain and the jolt of having to be forcibly taken out of the Zoroark's mind.

Outside, Trak shook her head. "No, that's not fine.  Twoey, get in there and close the connection."

"On it," Twoey crouched and placed both hands on Runaway's head, closing his eyes and focusing.

Inside, Runaway watched the Zoroark's plight in every agonizing detail, trapped within its torrent of unlocked memories.

If we had more victory parades and get more medals, then she might be less of a [sonic slicer], else she be stabbed with the Honor of Kalos.

*Sends Pierce the Bisharp to use Guillotine on her.*

You can never have too many victory parades.

That [sonic slicer] in the one building with the Mamoswine is still a [sonic slicer], though.  Does that stupid photo shoot ever end?  I want to go loot the other floors...

Runaway unwittingly followed along with the male Zoroark, separated from the others due to the Zoroark's own limited perception.  While he could see new details that the Zoroark may have missed (one of the perks of having an eidetic memory), he could not jump to another point of view unless the Zoroark itself had made the initial connection.

Outside, Trak looked to Joe. "He knows his limits, usually, but once he establishes a connection, I can't break it.  He either needs to do it himself, or another Psychic needs to intervene.  If it starts to look really bad, Twoey can go in."

Ugh, stomach not feeling so hot...

Ugh, Cushing's Admirer can't stop insisting that Tarkin should be wearing leather pants...

I'm sorry, but when you destroy a planet for the evulz, you're automatically elevated to Grade-A [dark hold].

Eventually I'll need to put together another team to take through the Elite 4.  I guess I could go through with my current selection of HM slaves and mid-levels, with two cleanups and see how they do.

Runaway would earn his second Medal of Honor. :P
