SLUMBER PARTY 8D

I just ate the last bit of stromboli I had, as it needed eaten before it went bad.  Here's hoping it doesn't get violently rejected.

One of the reasons I avoid it if at all possible.  Cauldron of stupid.  I'm afraid that the stupid will infect the trade and my Pokemon will get the dumb.

"They're healed, sure, been healed for a while, but would they detract anything?" Twoey scratched at the scar over the magnet. "This one has a little bump.  I have a few more elsewhere, and they're not your usual knicks and dings."

"Personally, I wouldn't worry about it," Trak shrugged as she worked the comb through the length of the Zoroark's mane, "I sincerely doubt that other Pokemon are scar-free.  They most likely take it into account, even old surgical scars."

Before I hit up GTS...

Does anyone have any Drowzees that they'd be willing to trade?  I'll take breeding fodder and hindering Natures, I honestly am not picky (look at Runaway, with his hindering Nature, whom I think is awesome)!  Any level, any Nature, any Ability, any gender.  I just need one.

You'll get one of my many Abras, and a few of them don't have names, as I was running out of ideas.

As for the Drowzee's name, Kadath will work fine.

Well, I put an Abra up on GTS for a Drowzee.  Hopefully someone comes through.  The Drowzee trades available were ridiculous.

"Easy, it''ll be just a quick trim on the ends of your mane," Trak nodded, working her fingers through a particularly nasty snarl of hair.  She untangled it and managed to get the comb through it with minimal snagging. "We'll be gentle.  If you want, Nurse Joy could clip your claws for you, as they're pretty gentle and efficient about that."

Runaway watched from his seat on the toilet.  The Zoroark seemed to be enjoying itself, and the contest would be a welcome distraction, but he still couldn't help but worry about its family.  He thought about enlisting Twoey's help in deciphering the location where they were being held, and even setting out on his own, if it came down to it.  Though, the Alakazam knew that if he expressed this concern to Trak, she would willingly help out.  There seemed to be too many distractions, and Runaway hoped that after the contest, that they would set out to rescue the Zoroark's family.  Knowing Twoey's history was enough to clue him in on what could be happening to them.

Meanwhile, Twoey was preening his fur, paying close attention to his head and examining it in the mirror. "Hey, I have a couple of scars.  Would that be a problem?  They're not too noticeable unless you look closely..."

Trak dug in her bag for a comb. "Let's get started with the mane." Selecting a shampoo, she soaped up her hands and crouched beside the tub, working her fingers through the coarse hair. "Give you a nice massage while we're at it."

Twoey finished his own grooming--something he preferred to do himself--and put the glove brush aside. "Love-glove is ready to go."

Runaway sat on the toilet and waited his turn.

Never was able to get to the store for change.  Thanks a lot, stomach.  It's been out of sorts for a couple days, now.

Nothing like flying to town on the wings of a Sigilyph.  Just taught Fly to Yellow Sign since pulling him out to be a Berry harvester.  He'll get dumped back into the box later, but once Ebon Hawk finishes leveling, Yellow Sign will warm the bench and fly me places.

Yay weird Fly slave.

Gut's still acting up, so I'm still hanging around.  I'd like to get my laundry done before the Nor'easter hits, though.

Under it won't help.  The covers need to be on it, between you and the mattress.  Otherwise, you're still sleeping on cold air.

As for the hole, that's possible.  Cats and air mattresses don't mix. :P

Air mattresses can get really cold if the room isn't warm enough.  No matter how many blankets you have piled on top, unless you pile some beneath you, you're still sleeping on cold air.

As for comfort, I find that if the mattress is pumped up real good, it's pretty comfy.  If it's not firm and you sink down in it, it can bend your spine out of whack.  Try pumping it up to be more firm, that may help.

Meanwhile, Twoey had finished his bath and climbed out of the tub. "Done!" He grabbed a towel and began to dry off. "Told you I was easy.  Tub's all yours."

Trak put on a glove brush and began to brush his fur. "Ooh, you smell good.  Once the Zoroark's done, then Runaway can get in."

Runaway, meanwhile, was just watching Sakura and Joe select shampoo, while the Zoroark sat on the toilet, confused.

Entering the Pokemon Center and finding a bathroom, Trak turned around and clapped her hands together. "All right, who wants a bath, first?"

"I'll go," Twoey offered and proceeded to draw a bath, "I'm easy."

(Illusion is just that; the Zoroark is using its abilities to appear as another Pokemon/Human.  This is basically a psychic suggestion, and it's projected to everyone around it.  Essentially, what is happening is others are experiencing a mass hallucination.  Thus, the Zoroark, despite how well it's groomed, can appear as well-groomed or as untidy as it pleases.)

If he had back surgery, that can also irritate the nerve, depending on where it was performed.  I had a mass removed twice from the right side of my lower back, and the second time, a layer of muscle was removed with it.  That irritated the sciatic nerve, as its root is at the base of your spine, and the muscle removed encompassed a large portion clean down to my hip.
