Trak finished gathering her things and cleaning up, then left the bathroom to keep a better watch on Runaway.  While she trusted Twoey to make sure the Alakazam didn't wander off, he was a bit scatterbrained and Trak preferred to be more vigilant, particularly since Runaway may actually run away on a mission.

Make a few strokes on a blank canvas and save as a custom brush.  I think it's in the brush options.

And I need to get around to making my Tumblr gallery and an Official Britt Roth Art Facebook page.  I should also make a new dA.

I may try the fireworks brush for snow, or make a similar custom brush.  I've played with the grass brush a few times.

Generally, my go-to blending modes are multiply (for linework), overlay (shading and/or highlights) darken (shading, sometimes), lighten (highlights, sometimes), screen (various effects, usually for reflections), and the hue/saturation/color blending modes.  I rarely use adjustment layers.

I use layers.  I love my layers!  Linework layers, flat color layers, shading layers, highlight layers, background layers, effects layers...

I just tend to try and accomplish an effect manually than with a blending mode.  Haven't really played with burn or dodge too much, though I've been making a lot of use out of overlay.

I need to experiment with different lighting effects in Photoshop some more.  I tend to default to using traditional methods in a digital medium, though.

"Yeah.  I'll talk to him again.  He understands that we can't rush into things, and I told him that as soon as we're able, we'll find the Zoroark's family.  He needs to be patient, first."  She glanced into the other room. "I don't think I'm going to enter him into the contest.  He's not in the right frame of mind for it.  He needs time to sort this all out."  She sighed. "If he doesn't perk up soon, I'll give Sycamore a ring and see what he suggests.  I'm not sure if having Nurse Joy look at him would really solve anything..."

Layers.  A [parasitic bomb] ton of layers.  Experiment with multiple blending modes.  Really, the only way you'll be able to get it how you want it is to mess around with it until it looks right.  Use different brushes at varying opacity, different layers, different blending modes, and screw around until something works.

Yeah my main problem was the rhythm and random pitches, but again better than the first Diamond and Pearl opening with a rap song.  This is probably my second worse opening but I give it points for not being the usual cheesy stuff they used after Advance Generation.  Like I said it's just a technical disaster of a classic song so I give it a meh.

Hearken back to the days of yore with cheesy-yet-catchy theme songs!  They should stop trying to make the theme song sound "relevant" to the stuff them thar younguns lissen ta nowadays. </fogey>

Runaway shook his head slowly. "Non."  The memories were still jumbled and he was having difficulty separating the Zoroark's from his own, and even from past scans of Twoey's augmented brain.  As he witnessed the memories as if he had experienced them himself, they were difficult to sort through.
