"I will, it's my job," Hypno nodded.
Dr. Ladis returned. "The room's ready."
One zombie-move later and Sakura (who wanted to witness the session and gain more information), her crew, Joe, Zoroark, and Dr. Ladis and her Hypno were in the quiet meeting room. The lights were dim, Zoroark was reclined in a comfortable chair with his feet up, while the Hypno wheeled over an office chair to sit in, which was placed adjacent to the Zoroark. Dr. Ladis had taken a seat towards the Zoroark's feet and remained quiet, with her notebook on her lap.
Hypno held the pendulum about ten inches away from the Zoroark's face, level to the forehead to produce a sufficient strain on the eyelids. The pendulum did not swing, but was held still as Hypno softly instructed the Zoroark to maintain a fixed, unblinking stare.
After a few minutes, Hypno studied Zoroark's eyes for a moment, and then slowly brought his right hand behind the pendulum and toward the Zoroark's face. He moved his hand about two inches away from his eyes and flicked with his thumb, middle, and ring finger, and the Zoroark's eyelids fluttered shut.
Quietly, Hypno lowered the pendulum and slowly scoot his chair back, casting a quick glance to Daisy the Drowzee, who stood silently nearby, observing. He then looked to Dr. Ladis.
Dr. Ladis glanced at her notebook and then spoke, softly. "Mr. Zoroark, could you tell me about your family?"
Dr. Ladis returned. "The room's ready."

Learned a bit more for the intro of Nothing Else Matters. I can do four more notes after the E Minor walkthrough, and I've been practicing that while strumming with multiple fingers. Also, started learning a bar chord.

"All Berries are given to the trainer," Hypno didn't look up, "and as I said, I do not put them to sleep. This technique is similar to what I'd use on a human--the eye-fixation technique usually seen in stage magic. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to hypnotize Dark types."

I had a freaky night last night. I was falling asleep with Mabel beside me and my covers over my nose. Mabel was curled up, asleep. Soon, I felt something on the foot end of the bed and thought Mabel moved. Then, it left. Mabel was still where she was sleeping. Then, I felt something sit on the bed near my head and start to pull down the covers.
I flipped my arms up and it went away. I laid there for a minute and checked to see that Mabel was still curled up beside me.
What the actual hell.

The pendulum will be held about eight to fifteen inches from the face, and I will ask you to maintain a steady stare on it. This will be the method in which I use to produce the trance. After sufficient pupillary dilation, I will use my right hand to close your eyes, which if the trance is achieved, will happen involuntarily."

The Hypno rubbed his foot some more, then stretched his knees. "That trial was a farce." He flipped through the papers and squinted, and then pulled out a pair of spectacles, balancing them on his nose. He turned to the Zoroark and Joe. "What the initial interview will entail is a hypnosis session, in which I will put you in a state of deep relaxation. I will not put you to sleep, I will not use any type of mind control, and I will not eat your dreams. You will be in more or less a twilight state of consciousness. This will enable any repressed memories to flow freely, along with allow you to speak with less inhibitions. Do you understand this session as I had explained it to you?"
He handed Joe a copy of the papers, along with a pen. "This will explain it in more detail. If you understand, please sign and date, the bottom copy is yours. Do you have any questions?"

"All right, I'll go get everything set up," Dr. Ladis nodded. She looked to Hypno. "Stay right there and keep your ID handy. I'll be right back." She looked to the group. "At 20 years old, he needs a break every now and then. The average lifespan is around thirty years, hence why he'll retire in about two years. The walk from the car wasn't very forgiving, and he broke a bone in his foot about a month ago." Taking a few papers out of the briefcase, she set them in front of Hypno, and then left to procure the meeting room.
Trak eyed the Hypno for a moment, and checked on Runaway, who was still asleep.

After the initial interview, we'll proceed from there. For the Zoroark, it may require some cognitive behavioral therapy, while the Alakazam would do best with hypnosis sessions. We'll see after the interviews, and then I could schedule them better."
The Drowzee, Daisy, yawned and started entertaining herself with poking Hypno's pendulum. Hypno responded by simply hanging it around his neck and out of reach. "Behave."
