Mewtwo rooted through his bag again, taking out a sheet of paper, and a small case. He opened the case and perched a pair of glasses on his muzzle and read the paper. "Some of the other classes should be wrapping up in about a couple hours, and the lab will be open tonight for study. I can stay later, as I have a key to it. If you want to know anything about the powders, all my research is there."

"Still," Mewtwo opened his bag and took out a couple capped swabs, "it would not hurt to rule it out." He looked to Trak. "If I may, I would like to swab his nose."
Trak shrugged. "Sure. He's a bit fussy when people mess with his face, though, so he could be difficult."
Mewtwo nodded. "I will be quick about it." He uncapped one swab, held Runaway's chin with one hand, and swabbed a nostril with the other. Runaway sniffed a few times as Mewtwo uncapped the other swab and did the same thing with the other nostril. Both swabs capped and stashed, he labeled the envelops and put them away, zipping up his bag. "I can take these to the lab later and test them. If there are any trace powders, I can document them."

Trak managed to calm Runaway down and she put the Hypnoker's ball away, and took the pendulum from Runaway, stuffing it into her pocket. She led the Alakazam over to the kitchenette and got him a drink of water. "Sorry about that. Like I said, he's been out of sorts since we got him back from Wily."
Quickie nodded slowly. "Since Wily had him working with powders, is there a possibility he could've inhaled any? From what I gather, he wasn't working in proper gear. When Mewtwo works with powder, he's suited up with goggles, a mask, and gloves. They have him wearing scrubs taped around the wrists, so the stuff doesn't stick to his fur."
"I also shower before leaving," Mewtwo nodded. "Give me a moment." He stood, stepped away from the kitchen crowd, and flew upstairs, returning a moment later with a backpack. "Without proper protocol, the risk of contamination is high, particularly if you are furred."

There was a sudden commotion as Runaway grabbed the Hypnoker's ball and raised it, ready to smash it against the floor, all the while yelling at it.
Trak ran up to him and grabbed his raised wrist, taking the ball away. "What's gotten into you?"
Quickie merely raised and eyebrow, while Twoey and Mewtwo stopped conversing in order to look over at Runaway, who was pointing at the ball, and to the pendulum around his neck, screaming that the Hypnoker was evil and was sending evil energy through the pendulum.
Mewtwo was understandably confused. "Hypnoker?"
"I haven't seen it, so I don't know," Twoey shrugged.

Okay, just checked member approvals and I need to find that mod that prevents bots from registering. Out of ten members waiting, only one is legit. I'll look for that mod this evening when I get on the computer. Phi, when you get on, reject everything until we figure this out.
The forum doesn't have its old checkers with Stop Forum Spam, so I'll need to look for mods for that, and Vixy, if there's the option to enable that again, please do so.

Looks good! It's good to see this place up and running. As far as features go, I could look on SMF's mod forum and see what bot busters they have. Now that the forum's been upgraded, some of those mods should work better.

Mid terms are over, and his class just started their new unit, but other than an intro, his professor's gonna wait until after break. It's on cloning and it'll be getting into the ethics of it, so he's glad for the break before the real heavy stuff."
