With Mewtwo's recent relevance, it would simply make sense to put him in the game.  There is money to be had, here.  I hazard he'll be in it, but his reveal won't be for a while as they're probably working the old kinks out of him.

While I loved playing as Mewtwo and adapted to his wonky controls quickly and actually became a deadly force to be reckoned with against my seasoned friend, I do admit that he could've had some improvements made.  This is Mewtwo, for crying out loud!  The most powerful Pokemon in existence!  And he handled like a slab of sheetrock in a wind storm, and was ranked behind other characters?! 

Take the extra time and do him the justice he deserves.  Give us the nigh-omnipotent beast we so desire!

The first time I had Red Robin, I got sick.  Like run-madly-to-the-bathroom-and-spend-ten-minutes-in-there-five-minutes-after-eating sick.

Needless to say, I haven't gone to Red Robin since.

She trailed off and glanced upstairs for a moment. "I hope that girl's Alakazam is okay.  It didn't look too good."

That could also be employed like time passed, similar to DnD.  The player says that they want to do something that will take a certain amount of time, and the DM says that that amount of time had passed, and the player had achieved their goal.  This restricts downtime, as players oftentimes don't seem to know what to do during that time, from what I've gathered.

That tended to happen with Wushu.  People were fine with action sequences, but the RP fell apart once downtime came into play.  I worry that the same might happen for this.  It's an easy habit to fall into; having the DM steer the story and everyone simply submits stats.

It could work, and a simple Wushu system could be used.  I think for a battle royal-type RP, dice would come in handy to keep players in check, along with some basic stats.  Far too often, have I seen at least one player with repeated problems of being overpowered, and I'm often nerfing the hell out of powerful characters.  Stats would help to maintain a balance.

Trak returned to the kitchen and explained that Runaway was napping.  Getting some leftovers, she and Twoey joined Joe for TV time. 

Mewtwo watched them for a moment. "I think I shall do the same before we head out." Getting his glasses out of his bag, he went to the living room and plopped down on the couch.

Quickie looked to Sakura. "He certainly is handsome with his glasses.  He uses them mostly for reading."

Yeah, they knew it was a gag, but man oh man, that show sucked on toast.  I didn't watch very much as it screamed Pokemon cash-grab.  What I did watch was cringe-worthy and I think I ended up switching the channel to Monster Rancher or whatever else was on at the time.
