"I do that," Twoey nodded. "It makes me feel better. What's the point of freaking out over every little thing when there's little you can do to change it? You just run yourself ragged, and at the end of the day, that thing you were worried about is still there and you're all worn out like an old shoe."
Mewtwo turned around after taking a long moment to scrutinize the pendulum. "It is a conduit. It is used as a focusing lens, much like an Alakazam uses spoons. I do not need a focusing object, as my powers manifest differently, through a complex nervous system. You have seen my gestures; that is how I focus my abilities. Without doing that, they can--and will--rage wildly out of control." He handed the pendulum back to Sakura. "However, like other focusing objects, it helps if the user is holding it. My computer only works if I touch it. It is a conduit and can possess residual energy, but it in and of itself cannot act on its own. What I speculate is going on is that Runaway may have tapped into that residual energy without realizing it. It may have confused him."
