Mewtwo glanced over when Joe sneezed, and then moved his gaze to the clock on the stove. "We should leave soon.  I plan to fly over, but there should be enough room in the car."

"I can go back into my Ball," Twoey nodded. "Not a problem, and I'll fit easily into most overhead storage bins."

Mewtwo just stared at him. "What is it like?  Being inside such a cramped space, only to be called upon when needed?  How do you handle it?"

Twoey shrugged. "It's not bad, really.  I mostly sleep, as that's pretty much what you do.  It's like going to sleep and you dream.  Sometimes, you can wake up and let yourself out, and when you first go in, you don't sleep right away and can bust out.  I don't know how to explain it, but it's really not as bad as people think it is." He shrugged again. "The plus side?  You're not hungry.  Like, at all.  You don't know how much time passed, so it can be a bit disorienting, but it's like a stasis or something."

As for the layout, we're working on it.  It's been a while since I've spent hours staring at code, so I'll need to get back into the habit.  I'll mess with the colors, but I think they're fine, currently.  As for options, that may take a while.  Lots of mods to look through, and I'd rather write up a list of what we would need, rather than grab mods at random.

Gotham is usually assumed to be in Massachusetts, mainly due to Arkham.  Lovecraft often used the setting of Arkham, Massachusetts, which also contains an asylum (Sefton Asylum), and Arkham Asylum was derived from that.

I can pare down the rules to as simple as I can make them, and for the sake of any players, all dice rolls should be done by either the DM (preferably) or a designated dice-roller.  This way, one person will be tasked with all the calculations, all the rolling, and no one else would have to worry about it and can focus on RPing.  Considering that I have a bag of dice, I'll no doubt be doing that.

DnD might prove to be too complex, but I'll go look through my various systems and see what I can dig up.  Another option would be to do a masterless system, but the only one I have on me is Dungeon Plungin', and that's more of a dungeon-crawl than anything.  I may be able to convert some of the rules, though.

Actually, I'll talk to Ringman.  He actually put together an arena-fighting/beat-'em-up system, so I'll ask him if he wrote it down anywhere.  That might work, and as I recall, it was a very simple system.  Otherwise, I'll have Wushu as a backup.

I think he picked up on my trolling back there.  I admit, I do enjoy playing devil's advocate.

Twoey and Mewtwo were listening quietly, and they both looked at each other.  Twoey was the first to speak up. "I don't understand.  Why would someone do that?  Obviously he wasn't the same Hypno!"

Mewtwo merely bowed his head. "Sometimes... it does not seem to matter to some humans... It is a mindset I had seen far too often."

"I really don't wish to impose, but since you have a suspicion of a motive, could you contact the police?  Give them a tip?  It would have more credence coming from you.  The police are inspecting the scene, but it was a drive-by.  The recovered bullet should help, and when Hypno is able, he might be able to give a description."
