I just want to know if any other Pokemon will get costumes, or is Pikachu just special, like being the only one with a voice?

Most likely the latter.

Sorry, Mewtwo, no playing dress-up. :(

Yeah, as a novice battler, I'd rather not face that wall.  Mewtwo has trouble with it in-game as it is.

I got Mabel a new cat food that's better for her.

She won't eat it.

Went to the lake earlier and swam.  It's a cold spring-fed lake, with a high fulvic mineral content, so the water is very dark.

I'm glad it's returning.  I love playing with my Pokemon.

Good to know.

Looks like Cassandra may find herself on a competitive team.  I may raise my all-speed Magic Guard Abra and make a team of speedy sweepers.

Entrainment can make Magic Bounce backfire.  It's almost happened to Cassandra, but none of her moves are affected by Magic Bounce.  If they were, that Audino who used Entrainment would become a pain in the ass, and the battle would be a pain in the ass.

Cassandra bounced the attack back!
Audino bounced the attack back!
Cassandra bounced the attack back!
Audino bounced the attack back!

All because the Audino used Entrainment.

I haven't quite figured out Cassandra's moves, yet.  She's currently using Ominous Wind, Dazzling Gleam, Fly (she's my latest Fly slave), and Psychic.  I want to keep Ominous Wind, as I like it, but Psychic might go.  She used to be using Aerial Ace until I replaced it with Psychic.

I crawled through a prickly wineberry bush to harvest ripe berries.  The kids kept offering gloves and jackets, but I declined and crawled through in shorts and a t-shirt.  Got all scratched up by the jaggers, but we got a nice harvest of berries.

The rest aren't ripe enough yet, so they're really sour.  Delicious if you like sour berries, but that sourness can catch you off-guard.

I really like my Magic Bounce Xatu.  Raised her from a baby.  She's Timid and her speed is insane.

Just edited my post to reflect that, as I misread the question.  If the trap is already there, she can't bounce it back.

I'm using a Magic Bounce Xatu currently.  She bounces back arena traps and status-effecting attacks.  However, she can only bounce back attacks used against her.

If she switches in after an arena trap has been set, she is still affected by it.

Not in the lake I'm going to.  Erie reportedly has one, and there's supposedly one in the Chesapeake.

Stepping on all the sticks buried in the mud isn't very fun.

Sometimes, you can feel the worms crawling around in the mud, particularly if they're those really big, fat worms.

I was wearing a swimsuit.  It is fun to have all that mud squish up between your toes, and it's nice and cool around your legs.  The downside?

It smells like [parasitic bomb]. XD

I once again walked through mud flats and sunk down in slimy, stinky, nasty black mud up to my knees.

Last night, I had the most delicious portabella mushrooms.  They were meaty and fried real good.

Entertainment / Judge Halts Competency Hearing in Slenderman Case
« on: July 10, 2014, 04:28:14 AM »
Judge deemed hearing violates Fifth Amendment rights

Two doctors in limited interviews have determined Morgan Geyser to be mentally incompetent to stand trial, as she may not be fully aware of the nature of her actions and the charges against her.  She was scheduled to have a competency hearing to determine if she is able to stand trial, and the results of it could be used in an insanity plea later.

However, the hearing would involve her discussing the incident, and that can be turned over to the state, thus violating her Fifth Amendment rights against self incrimination.

Needless to say, this is a setback in the case.  Geyser is the most troubled of the two girls and the most in need of psychiatric intervention.  If she can't get the right evaluation or sway the court into pursuing an insanity plea, then she'll be another of the many mentally ill individuals who have fallen through the cracks and languish in prisons without proper rehabilitation.

We went to the swimming hole today and I helped move a tree.
