Ah, Squirrel Girl...

I should take inspiration from all the spiders in my apartment and make Spider-woman!

...wait.

You mean she tried to go through it?

She did.  I have the poster above my desk, which is beside a window.  When I saw her trying to go through it, I picked her up and let her look at it at a different angle.

I think she still thinks it's a window.  She's tried to go through it before.

Mabel just confused my Giger poster for a window.  I'm not sure how.

A tablet stylus won't work on a DS screen.  Tablet styli are made with a soft rubber tip that depresses when you use it.  It won't provide sufficient enough pressure.

The DS touchscreen is a pressure-sensitive screen.  You can use the stylus, your finger, a lightsaber, end of a paintbrush, anything.  So long as the tip of whatever you use creates a certain amount of pressure on the screen surface to make contact with the screen itself, you can use the touchscreen.

The DS touchscreen has a transparent film that separates it from the screen.  The DS stylus creates a connection with the screen via pressure on that outer layer against the screen and the DS translates it as contact.  You need to press pretty hard with your finger to get the touchscreen to register, but the stylus is made to make that connection with minimal pressure.

Tablet touchscreens are capacitive screens.  An electrical current runs along the underside.  Your fingers and a proper capacitive stylus (rubber tip) will interrupt that current and the screen translates it as a contact point.  This configuration allows for multiple actions on the screen, such as "zooming" by spreading your fingers.

The DS stylus is not a capacitive stylus and a capacitive touchscreen will not register it, as it is incapable of interrupting the current.

The more you know...

DS stylus doesn't work.  I've already tried it.

Want to flip for who does the name change?

Actually, you can do it, as I plan to head to bed soon.

I should relearn German some day.

And I hope Ringman can help me tighten up my lesson plan this weekend.

It never fails.

I put lots of effort into something and nobody cares.  I [parasitic bomb] out something in two seconds and everyone loves it.

The premise.  We need something that will grab attention and make people want to support it.

It's very Damsel in Distress until you get to Eldritch Horror.  With the montage of frilly dress-up, and Diancie's chronic whimsy, it also seems rather—for lack of a better term—girly.  Like Disney Princess girly.

I was getting disinterested with the "tea party princess dress-up shopping spree" and Diancie being a damsel in constant distress (she can't go out and take a sparkle dump behind a tree without someone trying to kidnap her), but then Yveltal caused all hell to break loose, and I was interested again.

Eh, I may grab it when it hits DVD.  Put that on my watch list with Genesect and the Legend Awakened, which I haven't watched yet.

I didn't want to take a nap, but my body demanded it.  I simply didn't get enough sleep.

And Bagged & Boarded needs a hook to get people interested.  Our current hooks are meh.  Have any ideas?  We need something catchy, funny, snappy, something that people will remember and grab interest.

That was my problem.  Went to bed late, woke up early, took a nap, nap lasted too long.

CURSE YOU INSOMNIA! *shakes fist*

Stupid nap.  Slept too long, woke up groggy.

I just wanted two hours.

I crashed for five.

YAY NAP

Back in my day, you didn't have to worry about what your kids would find online, as it wasn't as easy for them to access and a single search would take longer than their attention span.

My nephew discovered Google Image Search.  He plunks in terms like "world's biggest [fill in the blank]."

Yeah. :|

Oh god, I need to figure out how I can reduce the foot odor in my toe shoes.  Wearing no socks stinks and wearing socks stink worse and then the socks stink!  My feet stink so bad that Mabel didn't like it!

When Mabel thinks my feet stink, then they must really stink.

Its not the clips, its his [tornado fang]ing torso being too narrow to snugly hold him.

Also, they sell the same type of stands in three packs on amazon for like $15. Look up Tamashii Stage Act.4 or something.

Where are you positioning the clip on the torso?  I have the clip right around the lowest ab crunch joint and it holds fine.  For flying poses, the clip is positioned just above that joint, as that's where the figure's balance is.

I haven't had a single problem with the stand.  It's stable and holds well.  Mewtwo is in a flying pose, and has survived Mabel knocking around, while Greedo—who stands on his own—is constantly knocked over.

Ringman got the Monsterarts Xenomorph and it has the same type of c-clip stand.  When he saw and experimented with the balance of Mewtwo's stand, he was impressed.  His Xenomorph isn't displayed, but he could pose it similarly with it essentially "levitating" via the stand.

I'd like to get more c-clip stands as they'd be perfect for the 6" Black Series SW figures.  Greedo wouldn't topple so much if he had some balance.

I'm actually beginning to wonder if you happened to have just gotten loose c-clips.  Have you tried replacing them with tighter-fitting c-clips?

I haven't had a problem with balancing my figure.  The tail makes a nice prop.

Blaziken's knee joints are... interesting.  Does this mean we'll be getting figmas of the other Mega Evolutions?  Mega Mewtwo X would look absolutely great on my shelf!

Speaking of my shelf, I should change up my display.  Mewtwo shooting the Shadow Prune at Greedo is getting old.  What should they do next? 8D

I added my NNID just because.  Don't have any games where'd I'd use it, but it's there.

And while I'm here...  I'm looking for a Psychic Safari.  Who has a Psychic Safari?

Yeah, i prefer to buy my games hard copy.  They look more impressive on my shelf that way.

And I came back inside to see Mabel sacked out on the kitchen counter like she owns the damn place.
