"'Bang, b-bang,' goes the storm door.  This howling wind would suit Halloween better than Christmas.  I mean, if the wind needs to howl like this, why not carry some blizzards and snow squalls with it?"

Tomorrow, I need to get up early, get a shower, gather up the gifts, and get to my half-brother's for Christmas dinner.  This year isn't being spent at my grandma's as my dad made it rather clear that he wants no one there and doesn't want Mammaw cooking or anything.  So, he didn't get a gift from me.  I'd rather spend the holidays away with other relatives anyway.

"I'm almost done with the scarf!  Only 80 more rows to go.  Then I need to add the tassels.  If I spend the better part of my day working on the scarf, I can have it finished tomorrow.  But I'll no doubt be distracted with relatives and all the holiday niceties and all that jazz, so I'll prolly finish it this weekend.  Then I'll take lots and lots of pics."

Usually, when I remember a dream, it was worth remembering.  And to make sure that the dream sticks, I will replay it over and over in my head.  That usually works quite well.  Also, writing dreams down helps to lock 'em in memory.

Sometimes, my dreams will give me great stories to write and characters.

Granted.  The foam bats used are soft foam and don't have that detrimental of an effect.  In fact, it's not even cathartic.  If only you had voted for Proposition 42, which would have allowed citizens to flog stupid people with pillowcases full of cue balls...

I wish I had decent materials to build my Dalek with, rather than the cheap stuff I can find around the house.  Seriously, my Dalek would be soundly exterminated as its casing is just cheap.

So do I.  I talk to the stray cats outside.  And when I'm working on my Dalek, I talk to the Kitten Cult of Skaro.  Fuzzy lil Thay was helping me work on the gunstick.

WANT.  Expensive, but WANT.  It will look great next to my older Star Wars Encyclopedia, and the rest of my reference books.

Tempting, but the story I'm fleshing out is already keeping me busy.  Along with writing wiki articles, researching said wiki articles, working on an audio adaptation of a comic, working on my Fourth Doctor scarf (I'm almost done!), and building a full-size Dalek.

My writing strengths are in prose, description, dialogue, and characterization.  So, I usually try to work in conjunction with someone whose strengths pertain to plot.  Usually I work on stories with my brother as we make an unstoppable writing team.
