The wings were based off of an owl. As for the markings on the wings... Those were random, but I think also based off of an owl.

My brother wanted something more Battletech than Gundam, something functional. So, using several Battletech and EXO Squad references, along with suggestions ("Make the front like a Mack truck, but more alien and rounded"), I sketched up an angled design and then drew the model sheet.
