Today I got in a fight with my brother over Dr. Manhattan's wang.  My brother won't go see Watchmen 'cause he said he'll be distracted by CG wang.  I told him, fine, don't see it then.  He asked me why I was "being an ass" and I told him 'cause he was acting like a baby.  He stormed off.  Good riddance.  He needs to [tornado fang]ing grow up.

Then I edited articles on Wookieepedia and the SW Fanon wiki.  Then I watched something on the Science Channel about the hanging coffins of China.  Then I took a shower, got back online, edited articles on wikis, finished some images I had started a couple days earlier, and then finished the corresponding articles.  Now I'm gonna go to bed.

Looks like another project to do then, as my technique's been evolving quite a bit.  It went from matte colour with two-toned cast shadow to tones with cast shadow.  And I'm gonna try out new techniques as well with an image I have planned.  I guess when I start on that image, I'll use it for an extremely detailed tutorial on damn near everything that goes into making a pic. XD 

Anywho, just put the finishing touches on another image.

Been a while since I updated.  I've been bogged down with other things.  Either way, I finished off an image I was working on a couple days ago.  It was actually an edit and colouring of a sketch I drew up a while back that I decided to reuse for a character biography headshot.  The only problem, the original sketch was naked.  So, I drew in some skin-tight spandex clothes and coloured it in.

He can miss out on possibly one of the greatest comic book movies made, fine.  He just better not [sonic slicer] about missing it.

The violence, I felt, was your standard action, with blood and dismemberments thrown in.  It was what I expected in an action movie.

Just saw it.  Loved it.  The movie did stay relatively true to the book, aside from cut content, costume designs, and the other changes that were mentioned.  As far as the cut content, like the Tale of the Black Freighter story, I remember reading that it's gonna be added to the extended DVD, so that's a definite buy.   Overall, though, the movie was great.  Snyder did a good job.

The opening credits were great indeed.  And I like how they handled the effects on Rorschach's mask.

Ah, war wounds.  I have too many to keep track of, so I'll just pick the weirdest one.

I have scarring on my right eye from surgery.  It's not quite as pronounced as it used to be, but I still think it looks like someone took an apple corer to my eye and removed lil chunks.

Seeing as how I'm a lifelong SW fan, it's kinda a given that I like the series.  The animation style is an acquired taste, but overall it's written well, plenty of action, and I enjoy it.
