My dog used to chew on Han when he was a kitten and he grew to enjoy it.  He'll roll around on the floor in front of the dog so he can get chewed on.

That is one weird slang word but then again I don't know much slang especially of the New York variety.

It's an old slang, harkens back to the days of gritty crime noir pulp novels.

I think certain lilies should also be avoided as well.  Though, to deter the cats from chewing up the houseplants, have a pot of grass for 'em to eat.  Or replace all the plants with cacti.  That also works.  My cats stay away from my cacti.

Poinsettia is an obvious one.  There are prolly others, but I'm not sure.  My cats chew up houseplants quite often with no ill-effect, so most are apparently harmless.  Including flytraps as my cats have eaten those, too.

I went into town, found out that the only other Hot Topic in my area was NOT closed, so I bought a spiffy jacket on clearance.  Then I went to Suncoast 'cause I could, satisfied my addiction to weeaboo numminess such as ramune and those oh-so-awesome Kasugai gummies, and got The Magic Sword 'cause they had an abundance of the movie and were trying to get rid of 'em for free. So I got a free DVD of quality cheese.   Then, I stopped by Borders, ordered a book, and went home.

All the while my IBS decided to continually flare up.  But I didn't let it ruin my day, for I have yummy Kasugai gummies!

Here in PA, we get storms, hurricanes that travel up the coast and skirt the Delmarva peninsula, tornadoes that usually hit Lancaster and York counties, and lately... earthquakes.

Yes.  Earthquakes.  Caused by a layer of diabase boulders a mile underground that're subjected to extreme pressure and explode.
