Google came up with these.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Youtiao

Those things, yes.

I get them from my local Chinese takeout.

so i'm just now noticing we're less than 10 pages away from another thread's end. the previous incarnation took 6 years to reach 1k pages with a userbase twice or triple the size of the current at various points. I know our current circle is pretty much focusing exclusively on this thread but what the [tornado fang] guys.

We are just that awesome.

I still need to schedule that fasting blood test.  For that, I need to fast for twelve hours and go get about eight tubes of blood drawn.  Thankfully, though, they pamper me because I fainted once.  So, I get the big comfy chair, I get to lay back, put my feet up, and they give me orange juice and graham crackers afterward.

At least you don't have to fast for six hours per each dose of antibiotic.

Bleh... Been coughing up gunk all day...

It appears that I am now the bearer of pestilence.

*offers inhaler*

Well Youtube seems busted, at least on my end.

Trying to watch it via mobile?  It's usually always busted for me when I try to watch it on mobile.

I had a few leftover Chinese donuts that are a few days old.

That's all I've eaten all day.

Never did have that late dinner.  Oh well.  Time to see if I can get any actual work done.  I volunteered to look over a paper for someone on TFN.

I still have a box and a half full of Abra in the Bank.  Finally made a dent in my PC Army.

Abras for competition, and a Hypno for my mutant Hypno to mate with.  I'm trying to breed some decent Pokémon.  I got two 4 IV HA Abra, and i intend to breed them.  My current Hypno breeding stock isn't very good, considering its best candidate is Bold with a max Speed IV.  I need to diversify it.

As for the weird Abra trades I mentioned... I haven't gotten any of them.  I don't trust those trades.  I don't know if it's a meme or a weird virus, but I don't trust seeing ten-fifteen spambot-named Abra trades all for the same Pokémon and all with the exact same message.

GTS botnet.

Back to seeing if anyone will take that Gengar.  It's not as if I'm asking for an impossible trade or an unequal trade.  I'm offering a Japanese Gengar for a male Hypno.  Gengar for Hypno.  Even trade, so why no takers?

It's raining now.  I may have a late dinner and watch a video, and then get on the computer.

Oh, and while searching through GTS, I'll sometimes come across some repeat trades.  For example, for a while, people were trading Abra with spambot names, all for the same Pokémon, and their message was always "kev."  Now I see spambot-named Abra up for Shinx trades, and all the messages say "my anaconda."

Is there a meme I'm not aware of?  I only see this in the Abra trades.

Indeed.

*Gets more Eggs from the Daycare*

You do so know how those eggs got there!  You just don't want to tell me that they had sex.

Must be a policy of theirs for when Preschool-class Trainers drop off their Pokémon.

Preschooler Mia: Mister!  Mister!  You said my Pokémon were getting along, but they're fighting!

Breeder: Ummm...

I went to preview a pencil test, and it automatically defaulted to IE.  And then IE begged me to make it my default browser.

I said no and slapped it.

One of the reasons why I abandoned my dA and have no current plans to make a new one. :P

At least on Tumblr, I can control the amount of creepy/weird/vapidity that I see.

I learned that my nasal spray is best used after I had taken a shower and allowed the steam to loosen up all the snot so I can blow it out and clear my nose for the spray.

Best way to do it would be to take once I wake up, as my stomach is empty, and then don't eat breakfast for three hours, and then I take it right before bed, after not eating for three hours.
