I'm not kidding about the bathtub scene!  It's in the first episode of David the Gnome!  You can see it on YouTube!

But, that's just a glimpse into the insanity that occurs when Ringman comes over.

Time to finish catching up on Inktober.  I took a break to play games and watch David the Gnome.

Ringman and I remembered the show, but couldn't remember anything about it.  We remembered it existing.  So, we watched the first episode.

The first episode opens with narration and David the titular gnome sitting naked in a bath tub and he even reaches down to scrub his junk.  Then a later scene involved him hypnotizing a goat, so we revived the Hypnosis Drinking Game.

Then we couldn't stop talking about gnome balls and how important it is to keep them clean and shiny.  After all, a gnome might lose his pendulum, and he needs a backup!

No, we were not drinking.  We're just insane, depraved people.

I have the mix in my kitchen right now.  Ringman mixed some with a bock in order to add some flavor, and it made the foam really thick and full of concentrated Tang.

It was a concentrated Tang head.

So, if you mix Tang drink mix with beer, you get a concentrated Tang head.

These old movies just love using hypnosis.  Ze good doktor vill solve all your problems vith HEEPNO-TEEZIM!

Ooh, a good candidate for the Hypnosis Drinking Game would be marathoning episodes of The Shadow.  You'll be hammered in no time.

Back to trying to conquer my Inktober backlog...

Some groceries, lunch/dinner (linner? Dunch?), some beer, and the Xenomorph Keepsake ornament.

YES

Today, Ringman and I listened to a Peter Lorre radio show (The Horla) and then watched Mad Love (a Peter Lorre movie).  With how often those had hypnosis as a plot device, we practically turned it into a drinking game.

I'll see what I can do.

As for splurging, I can't until Monday when I no longer have to fast while taking meds.

I need to get to Gamestop at some point soon.

Though, tomorrow is my last day on this antibiotic/malaria medicine!

Now I know why these antibiotics are so nasty.   They're used to treat malaria.  I'm taking malaria medication for a respiratory infection.  Ugh.

That makes more sense.  So, what I saw was a product of cheating.  Thanks for clearing that up, as it was really weird.

That would also explain the errors in the messages, I guess.

It certainly was striking to see that.  I went to see if there were similar reports, but couldn't find any.  Like I said, it was only those, and they all had the exact same message and the exact same Celebi with no name and a Master Ball.  The other three trades weren't so glitchy.

Much like the spambot-named same message Abra trades, I don't trust any of those Celebi trades.

And the only reason I made some Abra trades were to help another's Pokedex.  I've gotten repeat Pokemon from others that way, and hey, multiples with good stats are always welcome.

You know those suspicious Abra trades I mentioned?  The ones where everyone used the same message or variations of?  There's more who are asking for Zorua.  I'm not touching any of them.

Though, I did get a 5 IV HA for a Magmar.  Always happy to be of service for someone's Pokedex.  I also managed to get a German Piplup for a Turtwig.

Then, for the hell of it, I decided to look at the Celebi trades.

I saw this:

That weirdness only affected the ones bearing that message and Celebi without names (no species name, just a blank space where the name should be).

So busy that I STILL have not eaten.  At this rate, I may as well just not eat at all and take my next dose.

Speaking of you and Ringman... how's that Battle Royale RP system working out? 8D

Honestly though, I may just postpone that indefinitely. Blue's RP is new, so that should get more of the attention. Plus, the Battle Royale plot may be too convoluted for an RP format... I'm not sure if it would work out.

Wow... We've been tied up in other projects lately.  We totally forgot.  Sorry. :(

A MM roguelike would be awesome.  Someone get on that.

For a while, Ringman and I had a MM arena-battle text adventure in the works.  It played like a MUD.  We also had that MM Wolf3D TC that we never finished.

That, too.  Hell, that mainly.  And while fangames are cool, I'm not real big on them.
